Reviews for Ness Walk

A real gem of a place.

Our stay at Ness Walk started and finished with the most exquisite service experienced in years. The staff were elegant, friendly and so welcoming. The food was top drawer! Amazing. We needn't have gone further afield for any meal. The location was beautiful with a short walk into town to the left and beautiful nature shortwalk to the right along the river.

Perfection

Perfection and luxury. That's all there is to say... What a beautiful experience we had here at the Ness Walk hotel! Everything from the attentive staff to the 5 star room and lovely breakfast. Couldn't be more happy with our stay. Housekeeping was excellent! It was the best feeling, after a long day of seeing the city, to come back to a clean room and just enjoy a nice hot bath. And after that, a cup of tea in bed. This is the first time I'm writing a hotel review with nothing negative to say. We will be back!

Very restful couple of days

Five star hotel with 5 star staff. I love a couple of days here at the quiet season. It is expensive but you get what you pay for . Always a pleasure to return knowing that you will receive the best service in Inverness.

Would love to return

First visit to The Highlands, and based on a good friend's recommendation we booked Ness Walk for 6 nights. The hotel is located on the banks of the River Ness, a ca. 12 mns absolutely lovely and safe walk to the centre/shops. Returning after dinner out, we felt perfectly comfortable walking back, and were happy to see people of all ages walking their dogs, jogging etc. along the well lit path. On arrival at the station in the evening (direct train London to Inverness), we took a taxi from the station, cost £8. Monica on Reception, and Czaba who took our cases up, both made us feel extremely welcome. it was a nice touch to be offered sparkling wine. The room was spacious and well appointed with an excellent walk in shower, and extremely comfortable beds. We slept soundly and longer than at home! Breakfast was excellent. Hot breakfast served at the table. A large choice on the cold buffet, including olives, Scottish smoked salmon and cheese, charcuterie, fresh fruit ... Set us up for the day. Monica was always happy to be of assistance, and dealt with any enquiries efficiently. But then all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were sorry to leave and hope to be back. We will keep fond memories of Ness Walk Hotel.
