Monica & Susan are two concierges who were so helpful & polite & made us feel very important!! We were celebrating our 51st wedding anniversary & our room was decorated & a beautiful plate of desserts was there. Every detail of our stay was made perfect by the staff!! We enjoyed the 5 course tasting menu as well as afternoon tea another day. Both were elegant!!

We enjoyed our 2 nights stay with you from 9th October on the "Autumn in the Highlands" deal We were given a hearty welcome and offered a welcome drink. However 20 minutes later as we checked in we were asked to pay 565GBP which we thought unusual - particularly in a 5 star hotel ! We were told this is company policy. We suggest not a good one ! Later on we enjoyed Afternoon Tea after which we were presented with a bill for 74GBP which amazed us. Several apologies followed Having booked Dinner on 10th October - our wedding anniversary, we waited over 45 minutes for our main course while the table of 6 next to us were plied with several courses (possibly on a tasting menu) Imagine our consternation when, after two hours at our table, we were given a bill for 175GBP ! We are not in the habit of complaining but your management need to be aware of these shortcomings and ensure some improvements - particularly in a high calibre hotel like Ness Walk Sadly, on our next visit north to Inverness, Ness Walk will not be at the top of our list of choices. We hope you will accept these comments in the spirit of avoiding pitfalls and providing improvements for other future guests Alastair & Janette Lochhead

Short one night stay to complete my trip on NC500 Easy online booking Friendly and warm welcome at check in. I arrived at peak time so there was a bit of a wait but was taken to the bar where had a complimentary drink and did the check in Stayed in one of their suites. Large and comfortable but the configuration was long and narrow which was not ideal Comfortable bed I was exhausted after an extremely long day of driving so didn’t use their facilities other than room service which was delivered promptly and was fine. Wish I had longer Nice setting beside the river. Only minor oddity is paying £20 for parking on top of what is already a relatively steep room rate. This is more typical of a US hotel or London city centre than UK but so be it Would recommend

By far the best guest experience we’ve had in a Scotland hotel. The staff are amazing, attentive, professional and engaging. From the champagne greeting until they load your bags in your car, they will take care of your every need. If you’re staying in Inverness, this is your best choice.

From the very moment I approached the the Ness Walk hotel entrance, I was met with a kind word, warm smile and made to feel completely taken care of and at ease. I’m particularly appreciative as my travel was booked quite late and via sleeper train both ways, and my discombobulated self was so very kindly accommodated for coming and going - I can’t tell you how grateful I was. In my experience, you don’t see the level of individual, personable service that we received at Ness Walk all that often and I can honestly say every single person we interacted with - front of house, servers, and our lovely cleaning lady delivered pitch perfect each and every time. Their care and attention to detail really made our stay. Add this to the beautiful river views, calm and inviting interiors and lovely food and drink on offer and you have a hotel a head above the rest and one I look forward to returning to one day soon!
