Afternoon tea

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Attended Ness Walk for afternoon tea. The first class service began before we even went through the front door & it continued throughout our perfect afternoon. Our food & drinks were delicious, we had such a lovely time, beautiful hotel, immaculate. Such a treat to go when all the Christmas decorations are on display. Cannot recommend this highly enough. 10/10 for everything & everyone.

Worth Every Penny

Wonderful stay at the Ness Walk. From the moment we arrived, the staff could not have been any more polite and helpful. We had mentioned it was our 20th wedding anniversary and once in the room there was a card and some chocolates with rose petals on the bed. We had the tasting menu the first night and the whisky tasting on the second. Staff were incredibly courteous and knowledgeable. It was a magical stay and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

As close to perfection as a hotel can get

Everything about my stay was perfect. The staff were all very friendly and went the extra mile in an understated way. The hotel was spotless, room was perfect and had everything I needed and the location perfect for a walk along the river or into Inverness. Special mention to Monika who is the kindest and so helpful and welcoming.

Afternoon Tea, tasty but disappointing service.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Absolutely stunning hotel with the nicest staff. What a lovely welcome you get. The decor is beautiful with lots of lovely comfortable chairs to enjoy. We went for an afternoon tea and the food was delicious with lots of fresh treats to enjoy. I’m so disappointed to say that the service was poor in the restaurant. The staff were very nice but they were not attentive and it wasn’t busy. We had no milk for the tea, had to ask and then the tea had to be replaced because it was cold. We were asked several times if we needed extra tea but nobody asked us if everything was okay with the food (it was). We asked for the drinks menu as we were going to order some, nobody came back to check if we wanted to order. In the end we went into town for cocktails. This is a five star hotel, customers should not need to chase staff for things. I’m disappointed leaving this review because the hotel is beautiful, the staff are lovely and the food we had was very, very good. But that’s definitely not five star service.
