Set just a few miles north of Dallas, in the hills of Irving, Texas is The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas. Although this hotel is close to the active city life, guests will feel as if they are in a secluded destination, where they can enjoy as much or as little activity as they desire. Spacious guest rooms offer an extraordinary range of views and are situated in either the nine-story Resort tower or the low-rise villas adjacent to the golf greens. Top of the line amenities, elegant decor and comfortable furniture create a perfect retreat for guests.

We signed up for the Martinis and Mahjong event. They put us in the restaurant, with the wrong size table, incomplete set and the teacher did not show up. The food was minimal, we had to order off the menu. They delivered 3 mini tinis..at one time..which meant they were warm, by the time we drank them. We talked to the hostess on duty, who did nothing. Wrote two emails to GM, and received no response. Very disappointing, at $125 per person. Not what you expect from a Ritz Carlton.

Resort-style winding pool is the standout—feels like a true escape. Knife Italian delivers on quality, and The Nelson Club adds real value with golf, aerial yoga, and reformer Pilates. Service is polished but genuine, and the location between Arlington and downtown Dallas (easy access to DFW and Love Field) makes it a smart base for major events like the World Cup.

11/8/25: We wanted a staycation and made our reservation at this property, based on our memorable stay in May. I spoke with Noah over the phone, and he arranged our stay at a Villa. When we checked in, we were greeted warmly by the valet staff. The gentleman at the front desk made us feel like valued guests. He explained where the villas were, and provided the option of calling golf carts from our room to assist us when we needed to leave the property. I met Noah after we checked in, and he was very personable and professional. He made our stay very pleasant and memorable. There was a wine tasting in the lobby, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We also appreciated the apple cider station near the main entryway, which was a nice touch. Nahim was one of the golf cart drivers, and he was very friendly and courteous. We actually rode with him on several occasions during our stay, and when we checked out. He went above and beyond in getting us around and helping with our luggage when we checked out. This was a great property and we look forward to staying here again! The customer service at the Ritz is second to none!

Terrible experience. Service was bad and I felt insulted. Not something I expected to see for a hotel of this standard..
