This is a beautiful well appointed property with amazing staff, views etc. My only negative comment which can’t really be helped is that it is very Americanized! No Italians vacation there. Everyone speaks English. I could have been anywhere. Didn’t feel like I was in Italy.

I’ve been to hundreds of hotels around the world and can I say that the Service here is the best I’ve ever ever seen The food is fantastic from All the restaurants The breakfast service is insane. Anything you want on a terrace overlooking the Adriatic The pool is beautiful and the beach club area is situated just above a perfect swimming lagoon Rooms are fantastic Immaculately clean Gym is great Shuttle Service into town is fast through dodgy roads It’ll be hard beating this no matter where I travel from now It is absolutely blissful sitting by the pool in the breeze of the afternoon Pianist playing delightful tunes from about 5 pm in the shaded Terrace Don’t miss this

An excellent hotel with great customer service. Beautiful location and top class facilities. We loved our time here. When we checked out the hotel offered to arrange our ferry and taxis - no price was given (taxi was €30 arriving so assumed it would be ok). When checking out we were given €250 bill (would’ve been c€80 if we did it ourselves). When questioned the price the receptionist said it cannot be cancelled and the price was given before booking (this was not true). A strange practice that is a shame because all the other staff at Mezzatorre were brilliant and made our time feel so special otherwise.

We had a great stay at Mezzatorre during our Honeymoon. The property and service surpassed our expectations, and it was by far our favorite destination. Everything at the resort is very picturesque, and the facilities are extremely clean. The dining staff in particular was exceptional - my husband and I both have nut allergies and they went out of their way to ensure every staff member was aware of our allergy and to accommodate with alternatives. The staff at Bar Torre was also excellent, and aperitivo was one of our favorite parts of each day. We dined at La Torre three of the four nights that we were in Ischia, which was exceptional. We had other reservations in town, but ended up cancelling them to stay on the property. The views are unmatched and the food is delicious. We also appreciated the breakfast and beautiful breakfast views. One area of improvement if I am being picky would be more attentive service at the pool and beach chairs. With that said, once our orders were taken, food & drinks were delivered quickly and we were even given snacks and juices upon arrival. Overall 10/10 stay at Mezzatorre, we will be back!

We came here on our honeymoon and I admit, given the special occasion and the price of the hotel, my expectations were high. However they were sadly not met at all. It started with the room. We booked a sea view deluxe, but there was a very obstructed sea view. Basically it was mostly roof (see photo). Ok, but at least there was a terrace which was a consolation. That was the best we got. Every day we had to fight other guests for seats at the water (beach chairs were weirdly super limited despite the fact that Mezzatore has the whole bay). We couldn’t get a seat for a simple cocktail because it was too full (there is plenty of space but no tables). We wanted to use the thermal baths but had to reserve a chance to use the free baths because it was too busy. Hilariously, we had priority late check out but couldn’t get it (no surprise) and they offered to make us a reservation for the showers (the showers required a reservation.. LOL). It’s confusing for me how this is a 5 star hotel but I literally had to stress myself out to just get a chance to enjoy the amenities. Lastly, the communication with the staff was abysmal. If you asked them to call you a taxi in advance there was a 50/50 chance it would arrive. We never successfully managed to get extra towels at the beach ever (maybe they ran out, I wouldn’t be surprised). We would call and ask what time things closed and would just get blatantly wrong answers. It was a bit of a disaster. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this hotel in high season. Maybe in calmer months it’s better. But right now, it’s over crowded and understaffed. I sense it got over hyped and they just couldn’t keep up with demand. It would be better if they had less rooms for more and actually were attentive to their guests.

5 years ago I stayed at the Mezzatorre Resort & Spa. I booked it again for my recent trip. If I return to a property I have vacationed, it is truly 5 star. First of all, I will start with the property itself. It's rustic beauty and location are unsurpassed. The views are breathtaking. The spa has 5 star amenities. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent. Service in the restaurants is very attentive. Check-in is a breeze. Housekeeping caters to your needs immediately. This hotel lives up to its 5 star rating. We will return again next year.
