San Montano Resort & Spa

From the moment we arrived at San Montano Resort & Spa, we knew we were somewhere special and were very excited to explore. Perched high above Lacco Ameno on Monte Vico, the resort offers one of the most spectacular views on the island – sweeping across the Bay of Naples, with Mount Vesuvius on the horizon. Owned and run by the De Siano family since 2009, the resort reflects generations of dedication to warm, southern Italian hospitality. Passionate staff are genuinely proud of their island and eager to share its natural beauty and traditions with guests. There are 11 outdoor thermal pools, each fed by the island’s naturally healing waters, as well as a beach club (with complimentary transfers), a well-equipped gym, and a fabulous spa using Ischia’s volcanic mud and thermal waters in its treatments. Here I had the best spa treatment I've ever had! Our room was stylish, comfortable, and quiet, with a private terrace overlooking the sea – perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun. Dining at the resort was a highlight, too – the food is exceptional. Pre dinner, we particularly enjoyed the local specialities and the San Montano Spritz made with homegrown ingredients. The sunsets were also pretty incredible. We are already dreaming of our return.

Just divine. Incredible service, beautiful rooms and wonderful outdoor areas. So many fabulous pools, great poolside restaurant and bar and the view is simply the best. Many thanks to Marco who was always so helpful and kind. Breakfast has everything you could possibly want and the bar at sunset drinks sublime. and a gorgeous spa!

Excellent location&breathtaking view and friendly staff. We staying for 5 nights and I must say that every team member including manager was trying to assist and accommodate any requests we had! Rooms are clean, beddings were excellent, food was great- great vacation spot. I would also mention that having shuttle between beach and resort was great addition to the services provided by the hotel staff.

Amazing experience, stunning location, and superior service. We took one of the suites with infinity pool access, where enjoyed the tranquillity of the sunset after spending the day through the 11 thermal pool and whirlpool. The restaurants are great, and the staff is highly committed to make the guests experience a “want to come back”. And I definitely will!

The views were amazing! The piano hour and dinner at La Veranda are an absolute must! Salvatore was our server for breakfast and two dinners. He has incredible customer service and very accommodating.
