The resort was absolutely beautiful. The room and view were spectacular. The staff was extremely attentive. Anything you needed they provided. Food and drinks were very good. Highly recommend this resort.

We had an incredible stay where everything was perfect down to the smallest detail. The hotel is stunning with a modern design, luxurious rooms, and amazing pools. Even the amenities like the shampoo and conditioner had a heavenly scent that left my hair feeling silky smooth! The food was outstanding across all restaurants. We want to give a special shout-out to Erik and Alberto from the Teppanyaki dinner; they provided us with such a unique and fun experience! The service throughout the resort is world-class. We want to commend the entire staff - at the restaurants, bars, front desk, bellboys, and housekeeping (including room service). Everyone was incredibly helpful, charming, and always greeted us with a huge smile. our concierge, Belen, took care of everything for us, paid attention to every tiny detail, and was always available. Her personal touches for our honeymoon celebrations made our stay truly unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Secrets Playa Blanca exceeded expectations. The design is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful use of natural materials that creates a calm, elevated atmosphere throughout the resort. It strikes the perfect balance - you can enjoy plenty of activities or completely unwind and relax in peace. The staff truly made the experience. Every interaction felt warm, genuine, and welcoming, which added so much to the overall stay. The resort is also impeccably clean and well maintained. Dining was overall very good, with some standout experiences. All in all, a fantastic stay - relaxing, beautiful, and thoughtfully done.

My, now wife, and I attended the resort for our wedding over the second week in April. We arrived on a Monday and left on Saturday. Monday - Wednesday the resort was great. We had no problem getting pool chairs, the food and service at the bars/restaurants was quick. The staff were amazing and always helpful. However, Thursday - Saturday was a different story. The resort had an influx of guests (over 200+) arrive late afternoon and evening on Wednesday (night of our wedding). From that point on the resort was over crowded. No where to sit at the main Rendezvous Bar, 1 hour + long waits at the restaurants, 30+ min wait for our food to arrive after ordering, no pool chairs unless you got up at 6am because the "Presidents Club" attendees for a business trip had the luxury of the resort reserving 100 pool chairs every day for them. It completely changed the resort and our entire experience. If that's how full the resort normally is, I wouldn't recommend going here, it's not a retreat at that point, it became a busy downtown business district. Our wedding went very well for the most part. Couple of things to note. We used the resort wedding coordinator and although it was ok, I might recommend working with an outside coordinator instead. We weren't able to start planning any of our wedding until about 8 weeks out. At that point, we still didn't have a wedding catalog to understand what the price of and add-ons or what the "included" items looked like. The catalog has photos of all the things you could upgrade with their outside vendors, but they only provide pricing once you select some items to help them determine what your "look/style" would be. Then they send you an excel spreadsheet with pricing and pics of the items. All the prices are extremely high. It definitely felt like a bait and switch method. We ended up bringing most of our own table decorations and items for the wedding ourselves from amazon purchases. It cost us 1.5 of our checked bags, but this still saves us around $2,000. We were negotiating pricing up until 2 days before we left for the resort. Our wedding was on a Wednesday and I could not recommend that enough! On that Friday, we saw 3 weddings happening. Just too busy in my opinion. We were the only wedding on Wednesday. It's also cheaper. The staff were incredible! The room service team was amazing, both in the food department and the turndown and room cleaning departments. Overall, I would attend it again if i knew it wasn't going to be over crowded. But if the norm is what it was on Thursday - Saturday, it's not for me. Should you have your wedding there? I would say yes, but join one of the facebook groups and ask LOTS of questions and read their posts. This was super helpful for us, but we wish we had done that much sooner in the process. It would have led us to do something very differently and likely would have made it a more enjoyable experience. The resort is stunning and you can't have bad pictures there. ✨ A very overdue thank you… but one that absolutely had to be said ✨ We were at Secrets Playa Blanca 10-24 July 2025... our second visit to this resort. We’ve just realised that somehow… we never shared this post from our trip to and honestly, that doesn’t sit right with us at all. Because the people we met there? They made our holiday. From our very first mornings in Market Café to long, lazy days by the pool, sunset dinners and those special little moments in between… you all went above and beyond in ways that didn’t go unnoticed ❤️ So, this is for you: ☀️ Susan & Carolina – for always starting our mornings with a smile in Market Café 🍳 Nanci & Ana – for making breakfasts feel special (and that quiet morning kindness we won’t forget) 👏 Daniel (Market Café manager) – for stepping in when it mattered and having the best chats, we learnt so much from you 🏖️ Christopher, Coni & Michael – the social pool dream team, always attentive, always engaging and looking after us so incredibly well 🌊 Daniel, Mauricio & Heber – infinity pool perfection every single day, again making sure our days were perfect 🍹 Julio – keeping the good times flowing at the pool bar 🍽️ Sixto – those super-fast burgers when we were racing off to paint hats (legend!) 🐙 Luis – for that octopus recommendation (still thinking about it!) You didn’t just do your jobs, you created an experience we’ve talked about ever since. And the biggest compliment we can give? We’re coming back ❤️ Two whole weeks in July 2026… and we genuinely hope we get to see some familiar faces again. Thank you for making our trip unforgettable. We can’t wait to return.
