Boutique Saint Sophia

I have mixed thoughts about this hotel. It is well located once you find it, you dont have aces by taxi so they drop you off and point you to the direction of the hotel. It’s nit well signed but you will eventually find it after dragging cases down a couple hundred metre cobbled lane, the up a goat track to the reception. Once you are there it’s basically in the centre of the main sights, they are all within a few minutes walk, so location is exceptional. Rooms are very very small, hardly room for bedside tables and room to move around. The bathroom is ok, although our shower door didnt close properly and the floor got very wet every time. We ha a room which overlooked the trees and out to the Blue Mosc. We had this idiotic light fixture which hung over my bedside tables, ‘I hit it several times through the night and it would knock my stuff onto the floor, if the management read this, you need to take that out ! Breakfast was a full Turkish breakfast with optional eggs , coffee (not great coffee) and the food is quite good. The staff are efficient but you get the impression they are just doing their job, not particularly friendly and the help is very to the point. So it’s a mixed review; I wouldn't stay there again as it’s too close to tourist central, rooms too small and didn't find it a friendly place. But if you are there for a short stay and want to hit everything with limited time, its probably a reasonable choice.

The location of the hotel is perfect, near the places you need to see in Istanbul. The staff were all amazing and couldn't be faulted. The room had a view of the Haige Sophia which was memorable. The WiFi was very good and reliable. Choose this hotel for you stay in Istanbul.

This hotel is so close to everything. You can walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand bazaar and so much more. They staff are amazing and incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms are good and there are many restaurant’s around. We Will definitely stay here next time.

We stayed for four nights in May at this lovely boutique hotel. The staff are all very helpful and kind. The room was very clean. There is a totally delightful courtyard outside - lovely to sit there and rest after visiting all the sites. The included breakfast is delicious and plentiful. We have lovely memories of this hotel and would recommend it without hesitation.

This hotel is located in the most perfect place for enjoying the most magical moments in my life. The staff were undoubtedly the best people in the world that I have ever met. The breakfast was extremely delicious. Being my first time in Turkey, I was amazed at the good foods every where and the sights were incredible. On our first day, the traffic was crazy and because of the first day, our hotel had a young man meet our car to get our luggage and get us safely around 4 blocks or more up a hill to the hotel. My thanks to him, the person who checked us in and expecially the man who greeted us daily with our breakfast. I left there for Cappadocia with a heavy heart realizing that I had clearly been given the best service ever! Again, I want to thank them.
