We stayed for four nights in May at this lovely boutique hotel. The staff are all very helpful and kind. The room was very clean. There is a totally delightful courtyard outside - lovely to sit there and rest after visiting all the sites. The included breakfast is delicious and plentiful. We have lovely memories of this hotel and would recommend it without hesitation.

This hotel is located in the most perfect place for enjoying the most magical moments in my life. The staff were undoubtedly the best people in the world that I have ever met. The breakfast was extremely delicious. Being my first time in Turkey, I was amazed at the good foods every where and the sights were incredible. On our first day, the traffic was crazy and because of the first day, our hotel had a young man meet our car to get our luggage and get us safely around 4 blocks or more up a hill to the hotel. My thanks to him, the person who checked us in and expecially the man who greeted us daily with our breakfast. I left there for Cappadocia with a heavy heart realizing that I had clearly been given the best service ever! Again, I want to thank them.

I was blown away by this hotel, its staff, and its service. They were very accommodating with an 18mo old and were always very friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was AMAZING every day. So much food, you could never finish. The staff were always so helpful and friendly. I was actually sad when we were leaving. My son was so sad when we left as well.! The staff were so loving to my baby, it felt like we were staying with family. The location is great, right next to the Hagia Sophia. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who goes to Istanbul and this is where I’ll stay whenever I visit again. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! Thank you!

Just wrapped up a stay at Saint Sophia Boutique Hotel in Istanbul and honestly… couldn’t have picked a better spot if we tried. Travelling as a couple, it was absolutely perfect for us. The location is unbeatable – you step outside and you’re basically right in the heart of everything. Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, all the good stuff just a short wander away, which made it so easy to soak it all in without feeling rushed. But what really made the stay was the people. The staff were next level – genuinely warm, attentive without being over the top, and always happy to help with anything. You can tell they really care about making your stay special, and it shows in all the little details. And the breakfast… wow. Proper highlight of our mornings. Fresh, generous, and full of local flavours – the kind of spread that makes you slow down, have another coffee, and just enjoy the moment before heading out for the day. All up, it had that boutique charm but with top-tier service. Comfortable, welcoming, and in the best possible location. We’d go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend if you’re heading to Istanbul 🇹🇷

My wife and I stayed here while visiting Turkey recently. Booked this place because it had great reviews and was close to the things we wanted to see while there. Not easy to find because there are at least three hotels close by that are called Sophia something. Of course we went to the two others first lol. It's entrance is just off the street so is easy to miss initially. It has a nice coffee shop that is well priced in the lobby area. It is very clean and decently spacey rooms. You can actually link your Netflix account and watch some English TV here. None of the many other hotels we stayed at while in Turkey have this yet. BIG plus for that, in my opinion. Walking distance to all sorts of cool stuff. I think this area is the BEST in Istanbul. Shopping and restaurants galore. The ones closest to the hotel will be more expensive than if you just walk up the hill a bit so definitely worth walking. There will be no shortage of people trying to get you to com e to their stores when you are walking around, even though their store is not right there. The Grand Bazaar is about a 10-12 min walk up the hill. We went there last but would recommend that you go there first instead because prices seem better there than the same fancier shops closer to the hotel. Hotel staff are excellent!! Can't say enough here. Would highly recommend that you stay here. Very good value for the money. ***IF YOU FOUND THIS REVIEW HELPFUL PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT AND INDICATE SO***
