Reviews for Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet

Among the very best of Four Seasons

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

The service here is absolutely impeccable. We had just gotten off of a cruise and they had a little map of our cruise with some sweets and a tiny ship in a bottle waiting in our room. I received a bouquet of flowers upon arrival which is a first for me. I am writing this several months after our visit, so they clearly left a great impression. I'm not Rick Steves, but I've traveled to multiple Four Seasons and countless fine hotels and this one is among the very top. The only Four Seasons specific hotel in contention would be Madrid, but Sultanahmet is very special. We stopped for brunch over at Bosphorous and we are very glad we were at Sultanahmet. The location, the staff, the special details and the stunning building and courtyard made this one not just unique, but tops. I wouldn't stay anywhere else upon return.

Impeccable Hospitality

Stayed at Four Seasons Sultanahmet for our time in Istanbul. Chose it for the great location and it did not disappoint. The room was large (had a King premium) and was clean. The hotel had wonderful touches such as daily snacks, fresh fruit, and water. The concierge was very helpful in finding a restaurant in the area. I really appreciated the hotel providing us a later checkout. Would advise you are prepared for the prayer calls at night and early morning though this is not unique to this hotel. We found this to be a unique part of trip. Breakfast was good but not great. Other than that it was an amazing hotel and we will stay with Four Seasons more often.

Great boutique hotel

This is a beautiful old building with a lovely roof top and courtyard. Great staff hospitality and diverse breakfast options. There is no pool or spa but you can travel to the other property for that if you want it. The location is great for exploring town and for a short visit

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location

My family and I had a wonderful experience at Four Seasons Sultanahmet. The level of care and comfort shown towards our family was so heart-warming, especially the thoughtfulness towards our young children. They went above and beyond for our kids! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Regarding our rooms, the beds were extremely comfortable. As far as the location is concerned, it’s absolutely perfect for exploring the old city. We plan to come back for our next visit to Istanbul.

Four Seasons ; Couldn't be better!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

We stayed over a week at the Four Seasons in Istanbul Ahmetsultan. We enjoyed it thoroughly. The staff were all so friendly, helpful and attentive. We did a number of the tourist things, and where tickets need to be booked, the concierge arranged everything. The concierge also booked s a terrific four-hour private boat trip up and down the Bosphorous as well as a terrific lunch at a restaurant on the edge of the water. The AVLA restaurant has a variety of excellent dishes, and is very pleasant sitting outside for lunch, and then inside at night when it gets cooler. The hotel also has a great bar with informal dining on the 4th floor roof top where the views of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and Topkapi Palace as well as the Bosphorous are lovely. A big thank you to all the staff for a most enjoyable stay from the minute we arrived to the minute we left!
