Galateia Residence

Our apartment was dark and cold, with not enough blankets or heating. I enquired with "reception " their response. The central heating comes on at 13degrees. I'm not sure what you're meant to do if it's 14 degrees..... They said use the reverse cylce air-conditioner- of which it isn't. Photos of apartments are misleading. There are plenty of more affordable and better options in the area.

Very disappointing experience overall. The listing uses heavily edited/misleading photos that don't reflect reality. The furniture quality is poor, and the advertised Bosphorus view is extremely limited - only visible through a small bathroom window. The manager showed a terrible attitude and treated us with contempt, despite the fact that we arrived at 1 AM with a child. This unprofessional behavior made an already disappointing situation even worse. The price is far too high for what you actually get. The amenities and service are minimal.

What a wonderful place to stay! We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it; the apartment was comfortable and well furnished, and the shower was amazing. Well equipped kitchen, although we only used it for breakfast. Wifi worked well, and the apartment was very quiet, even though we were on the ground floor at the front of the building. Highly recommended, and will definitely be my first choice if I return to Istanbul.

Booked here on our first visit to Istanbul, the apartment was really nice, huge bed and great bathroom, well equipped and tv gas netflix. Great location about 5 minutes walk from Galata tower. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely highly recommend.

The place is absolutely amazing. + Kind, helpful, social, great assistance, quiet, great location + Perfect for short and long-term stay (stayed for more then 14 days) + Saviors I arrived in Turkey and reserved apparently a very dangerous place before and I as I had to get out the Galateia Residence offered me one of their massive suits for a very good price. I felt very welcome from the start, it was super clean. + Quick and kind assistance When I told the reception that the bathtub stop didn’t move the technical service had left and the receptionist tried to help himself right away. He could not fix it but the technical service came the next morning together with the receptionist to fix it. - Bathroom attached to bedroom Only thing I could think of is that if someone would stay in the other bedroom they would have to go through the main bedroom for a shower or bath. If you care about that it is a good thing to know. Definitely recommend this for any kind of traveler! Due to covid I can’t have friends over but otherwise it would have more then enough space to have everyone around! I did not need to add photos as they are exactly like the pictures!
