we had a bit of a difficult time after check-in, although no fault of the staff Initial room was close to the road and un La Street singer kept us up Night manager and morning staff were very helpful in moving us to a better room In a rush we left some items behind and they were so helpful in tracking all of this down for us It is the exceptional service at this Peninsula that makes it wonderful stayed 1108

We had a fantastic experience at The Peninsula Hotel in Turkey, made even better by the exceptional service from Eray. He gave us a warm, attentive tour of the facilities, sharing his deep knowledge with genuine enthusiasm. Eray anticipated our needs, answered every question, and made sure we felt truly welcomed throughout our visit. Staff like him elevate the guest experience, and his professionalism and dedication certainly stand out.

After three incredible weeks of trekking through Tajikistan—sleeping in tents and relying on trusty donkeys—my family of four was thrilled to arrive at The Peninsula Istanbul for our well-deserved week of celebration. With six nights booked to mark our 24th wedding anniversary and a birthday, we expected nothing short of perfection from this world-renowned hotel. From check in, many aspects lived up to The Peninsula's stellar reputation. Our connecting rooms were beautifully appointed, the Bosphorus pool area was stunning, and staff were generally attentive—often anticipating needs before we voiced them (Emir (Pool) and Ilker are amazing!). The level of service initially reminded us why we love Peninsula properties. However, our experience was significantly impacted by noise issues that the hotel ultimately failed to resolve. On both Saturday and Sunday nights, our room literally vibrated from the bass of nearby clubs (Madonna's Like a Prayer became our unwanted soundtrack). Despite double-glazed windows and blackout curtains, the pounding music continued until well past 1 AM, making proper rest impossible. When we reported this immediately, staff acknowledged the problem and promised to find us a quieter room. They provided earplugs (a band-aid solution at best) and assured us they'd follow up. Yet when we inquired on Monday, with four nights left, there was no record of our request and no alternative arrangements/suggestions made. This was particularly disappointing given the ample time they had to rectify the situation. For a six night stay at a luxury hotel, we expected more proactive problem solving. Four days should have been more than enough to relocate us properly—especially when paying premium rates for what should have been a peaceful, restorative experience. While other aspects of our stay were excellent, this failure to follow through on a basic comfort need was disappointing. Would we return? Not sure. A beautiful property that needs to improve its resolution of guest concerns, especially when given several days to address them. Light sleepers should beware, weekdays would be your better bet.

Peninsula istanbul is the best hotel in Istanbul and in my opinion in Europe. 1. 45 min drive from Istanbul airport 2. Located in Karakoy by the Bosporus overlooking the old city ( Constantinople ) 3. Meticulously renovated historical buildings 4. Beautiful grand lobby 5. Comfortable, high tech rooms 6. Amazing Spa, award winning indoor pool. Fantastic sauna and steam 7. Top of the line amazing gym with everything 8. Nice breakfast buffet. 9. Very attentive, polite staff Only criticism 1. Extremely difficult to find taxi in Istanbul, be careful! Not hotels fault but they have a responsibility toward their guest to provide reliable safe transportations that is reasonably priced . The hotels has a limo but the pricing is outrageous. 2. All rooms should have bathrooms with 2 sinks. We had 3 rooms for our family trip and one room and only one sink! That was inconvenient 3. I would not eat at Galada restaurant. Waaaaay overpriced and not worth it. Save your money. To give you perspective Istanbul has gotten more and more expensive over the last 5 yrs but this place is just ridiculous. I get that view is incredible, they probably pay astronomical rent but still. They charge 4-5 times retail for Turkish wine. Thank you. Will stay again for sure.

Present the best hotel property I know worldwide, including New York, Paris Zürich due to its beautiful architecture, the micro location and the general location first class operations, which is nowhere in the world I have met and I am really traveling a lot so I can only recommend this property in case you come to Istanbul. There is no other choice in case you want a luxury experience.
