The Peninsula Istanbul

I stayed in a nearby hotel but returned THREE separate times for drinks at the Topside Bar and once for dinner at Gallada. It was the perfect spot for a martini, with excellent service. We sat outside once which was quite windy but fine with the heated lamp. Highly recommend!

Whilst I have visited the Peninsula in Singapore and in London I found the Istanbul Peninsula excellent! The location is second to none and the service was superb!

This hotel is by far our favourite hotel now, certainly our favourite city centre hotel. When you arrive, you can sense that this is a special hotel. No mundane run through of timings and “need to knows”, like many hotels. This was a warm friendly check in and whisked up to our room. The room was large and very well equipped, every few metres it seemed like there was a digital display to control the room and your experience. The bed was comfy and we slept amazing. The bar and restaurants were great, as were the spa facilities. We would definitely return to this hotel and would recommend this to anyone that cares to listen.

My stay at the Peninsula Istanbul truly lived up to its reputation as one of the most beautiful Peninsula hotels in the world. Its location along the Golden Horn is simply exceptional — from the peaceful early morning light to the breathtaking sunset views, every moment felt magical. I stayed in a Grand Deluxe Garden Room, which was absolutely stunning. The private garden was spacious and offered direct access to the waterfront, creating a unique sense of tranquility and privacy. The hotel facilities are brand new, beautifully designed, and perfect for a relaxing staycation. I also had the pleasure of enjoying the Peninsula Time experience and was delighted to receive the iconic Peninsula teddy bear — a lovely touch that made the stay even more memorable. Another highlight is the complimentary luxury car service within a 3 km radius, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. A special thank you to the hotel’s professional team — truly one of the most attentive, warm, and outstanding service teams I have ever encountered. I sincerely hope to return again in the future.

The location is excellent. There seems to be a new walkway where you can walk if you feel like to a lot of cafes. The central lobby feels like a typical Peninsula location. The style has Turkish touches which is very nice such as serving you tea in your room when you arrive. The rooms are large. The deco was very golden and not too modern. It was very clean. I had an issue with the resturant above my head one night but this was solved in a good manner. The service was good. The breakfast service was excellent. The spa was very lovely. One of the nicest I have ever seen. Turkish evil eyes blue on the pool wall which was nice. The gym was good. An outdoor pool looks great for the nice weather. Overall I think I have found my new home to stay in Istanbul.. it ticks all the boxes!
