A truly magical stay at the Pera Palace hotel
I had the most wonderful 4 days at the Pera Palace. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and patient, making me feel completely at ease throughout my stay. Visiting the Pera Palace has always been a dream of mine—a true bucket list experience—and it exceeded every expectation. I especially loved riding in Istanbul’s first electric elevator, which added such a unique and historic charm to the hotel. A very special mention to Esmanur, who was so attentive and thoughtful. She went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic experience, especially knowing how much I had been looking forward to this visit. My first stay was truly magical, and the hotel itself is unforgettable. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul and I am already hoping to return again soon.

Wonderful historic hotel, wonderful friendly staff. At tha Agatha restaurant Efe, horife, gamze,and sergen were very smiley and efficient

Gursel the concierge
We had a wonderful encounter with Gursel, the concierge at the Pera Palace. He oriented us to the historic sites within this beautiful hotel and was so gracious and knowledgeable. He was a terrific representative of this beautiful property and displayed a love of the building and its history. He provided us with one of those experiences we will always remember.

The Hotel is classic, I would definitely recommend it. Breakfast is big with a huge selection, the eggs Benedict were delicious! Rooms are spacious and clean, and the beds are extremely comfortable. Ask for Esma to take you on a tour of Atatürks’ room, she is very knowledgeable and passionate about Turkish history, her English is exceptional! Ergun and Racheal at the front desk helped with a speedy check out. I wish I knew the name of the curly haired woman at breakfast so I could properly thank her as well as the many bellhops in the lobby. All staff was incredibly friendly.
