Radisson Blu Hotel, Istanbul Pera

I emailed the hotel with questions in advance of our trip, I was not responded to. Mentioned it to the receptionist - couldn’t care less Room was fine, clean Water bottles in room -nice touch Room was however roasting and aircon didn’t respond, we had to leave balcony door open Restaurant is called steak n more. There is oddly only one steak on menu Glass of wine cost €25! There was a sulphur / drainage smell in corridors We explained we had a late flight and were allowed to hold onto the rooms and check out at 3pm Didn’t tell us pool was closed ahead of coming or at check in. I only knew from being online Rang room service and asked for milk, 25 minutes later milk powder was delivered - that's not milk

I had the pleasure of returning to Radisson Blu Pera for my 37th visit since 2018. Why would I stay anywhere else? From help with my reservation by Hümeyra, to the check--in at reception by Eren and Özkan, it was once again an absolute pleasure, especially after an arduous flight. The view from the room I requested, and was given, was delightful as I was able to watch the sunset over the Golden Horn whilst ferries zig-zagged over the waters there. The breakfast catered, as always, for a variety of international cuisines and the view from the terrace as I sipped my first Amerikano at 07.00 was immense.

Out stay was about 4 days long. You can’t beat the location for food and nightlife near by the hotel. Great breakfast and a fabulous view on the terrace. I started each evenings with Yunus E. and Batin in the bar for some great cocktails. Fantastic service on the terrace.

The hospitality was good, especially Ms. Zara at the guest relegations and concierge services was extremely helpful. She gave us a lot of nice suggestions for the area and booked amazing dinner cruises, which was fantastic. The hotel was clean and food was also good. Location is excellent. I’ll bring my family here next time
