Radisson Blu Hotel, Istanbul Sisli

As a loyal Radisson member who actively chooses this brand for both business and leisure, I expected a lot from the Radisson in Şişli. My girlfriend and I stayed at three different Radisson properties during our trip to Türkiye, and we fully anticipated this location would be the highlight. Unfortunately, it was by far the worst experience of the three. The issues began immediately with the staff, who were unwelcoming and generally seemed fed up and tired. This lack of care extended directly into the housekeeping. Upon entering our room, we found used cotton swabs on the bathroom floor and an unacceptable amount of hair in both the bed and the shower. I specifically requested a thorough reclean for the next day. Shockingly, after housekeeping came through, the exact same used cotton swabs were still sitting on the bathroom floor. I eventually gave up and cleaned it myself. The amenities were equally disappointing. The breakfast area was chaotic and vastly overcrowded for its capacity, and the food itself was entirely bland. We also tried the SPA, which was the worst of the three hotels we visited. It was generally unclean, and the sauna had a remarkably strong, stale smell of sweat that made it unusable. The most unacceptable part of this experience, however, is the management's handling of my billing. I was required to pay a €100 deposit upon arrival—something I have never been asked to do at any other Radisson property. I was assured this would be refunded one week after check-out. It has now been two months, and I have still not received my money. I have sent two separate emails to the hotel regarding this missing refund and have been completely ignored. The only redeeming quality of this hotel is that the bed and pillows were comfortable to sleep in. However, a good night's sleep does not excuse poor hygiene, indifferent service, and terrible financial practices. I strongly advise avoiding this location, and I will be escalating the unrefunded deposit issue directly to Radisson corporate. If you are looking for a good Radisson hotel in Istanbul, I highly recommend the Harbiye location instead. They have great spa facilities, a tasty breakfast, and a very helpful staff.

The hotel was really comfortable, it was clean and the people was helpful. The food from the restaurant was good too.
