The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul

My husband and I stayed one night at The Ritz-Carlton Istanbul and really enjoyed our stay. Thanks to our AMEX Platinum benefits, we received an early check-in and a room upgrade, which was such a nice start after traveling. The staff was very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We were even offered mimosas during check-in, which was a lovely touch. The room was spacious, clean, and super comfortable. I also loved coming back to the room and finding dark chocolates left by housekeeping. The hammam spa was amazing and definitely one of the hotel's highlights. Breakfast was also excellent with so many delicious options. Before we headed to the airport, one of the staff members handed me a sparkling water bottle and wished us a safe trip. Small gestures like that made the experience feel warm and personal. Would absolutely stay here again when visiting Istanbul.

At first look, you may think thos hotel.is nothing special. You would be dead wrong. This is probably the best hotel in Istanbul as of now. It definitely tops Ciragan Kempinsky and Four Seasons in several categories. Staff: The best staff you could find. We've been coming to this hotel for four years, and the staff is always personable, willing to.help, and there. They naturally.progress in their positions, which shows you the hotel cares about them, and they care about their career there. Rooms: Rooms had always been clean and amazing. I've stayed at different rooms at different times. I will always recommend a full bosphorus view room. If that is not possible, get at least partial. The hotel sits ar an amazing location, offering unique experience waking up t o.the whole view of Bosphorus, and looking at the Asian side of the city. Food: Atolye is a good turkish restaurant. You can do breakfast there, lunch, dinner, etc. I always recommend other places in Isranbul, but the local.restaurant is not bad. I wouldn't recommend Nobu though. Spa: If I could give 15 stars, I would. The best spa, and spa experience not just in Istanbul and Turkey, but beyond. I always recommend steam room, hammam, followed by a massage. The facilities are amazing, clean, and the staff knows what they are doing. Location and Transport: I love Ritz with their black taxis lined up. You can get a ride so quickly that you don't have ti wait longer than a minute. For comparison, getting a ride at swisotel, ciragan kempinsky, and four seasons, sometimes takes over 15-20 minutes on average. The hotel is right between Nisantasi and Taxim. You go to Nisantasi for food.

Last night, we visited Limore Italian Restaurant at The Ritz Bosphorus Hotel. The atmosphere, service, and flavors were outstanding. Ms. Büşra provided service with a warm smile and great professionalism. Thanks to the hotel’s Public Relations Manager, Ms. Zuhal, and the General Manager, Ms. Ela, the hotel is always the most special place in Istanbul for me. I highly recommend Limori to everyone.

We had the Hamam bath followed by a Balinese massage. It was the most amazing experience. Our attendants were Mia and Nana. They were very experienced at massage and their attention to details was noted. It was a very relaxing experience. This bath and massage was the best experience ever especially while traveling abroad. Mia and Nana gave a great treatment. We would highly recommend them both as well as the experience of the Turkish bath and Bali massage treatments.

We have been fortunate to stay at luxury hotels around the world, and the Ritz-Carlton Istanbul stands among the very best, not just for its physical beauty, but for something far harder to manufacture: genuine warmth. From the moment we arrived, every single staff member we encountered greeted us with a kindness that felt personal, not performative. That spirit was embodied most memorably by Murat, Beril, and Aysun at Aytole restaurant, who made our breakfasts something we genuinely looked forward to each morning. They remembered our coffee order without being asked, and on our final day surprised us in a way that was so thoughtful it stopped us in our tracks. It's a small gesture in the grand scheme of things, but it's exactly the kind of detail that separates a truly great hotel from a merely excellent one. We will not forget them. The room itself was everything you'd hope for. Our balcony was a wonderful retreat, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and housekeeping responded to every request promptly and without fuss. The property was immaculate throughout. What the Ritz Carlton Istanbul has mastered is a balance that is genuinely rare: it is undeniably luxurious, yet it never feels cold or stuffy. You feel cared for here, not just accommodated. Practically speaking, the location is ideal — a short, easy walk to the tram puts Sultanahmet Square and Istanbul's extraordinary historical sites right at your fingertips. Istanbul itself is a magnificent city, and having this hotel as our home base made the whole experience even richer. We came as guests and left feeling like we'd been hosted by friends. We will absolutely be back.
