I booked 7 rooms for 8 guests, but our event (coffee reception/symposium/dinner) saw the attendance of over 40 people. From before even reaching the hotel, the communication with the relevant departments there was extremely smooth, fast and clear. The drivers of the transportation airport-hotel cars were all very professional. At the hotel, we – organisers and guest – were amazed by the support and service of every single hotel staff member that we encountered.

Fabulous Breakfast:The breakfast at Shangri-La is truly fabulous. The selection is extensive, the quality exceptional, and everything is beautifully presented. From fresh pastries and local specialties to international favorites, there's something for everyone. It's the perfect way to start your day and sets a high bar for the rest of your stay. Outstanding Spa Experience: The spa facilities are great, but what really stood out was the massage - absolutely astonishing! It was one of the best massages I've ever had. The therapists are clearly highly skilled, and the attention to detail and professionalism throughout the spa experience was impeccable. If you're staying here, do not miss the opportunity to book a treatment. The Best Chinese Restaurant in Istanbul:Shang Palace is genuinely the best Chinese restaurant in Istanbul. The food is exquisite - authentic, beautifully prepared, and delicious. Every dish we tried was outstanding. Whether you're a hotel guest or not, this restaurant alone is worth the visit. The service and ambiance are equally impressive. Prime Location: The hotel enjoys a great location with easy access to Istanbul's key attractions, business districts, and the beauty of the Bosphorus. It's convenient without being in the thick of the chaos, which is the perfect balance. Experienced & Professional Staff:The staff at Shangri-La Bosphorus are truly exceptional. I had lovely trip to hotel with transfer. Like desing of hotel and view. Dont like bath amenities (l’ocitane) brand, not luxury

We’ve just come back from a wonderful seven-night stay at the Shangri-La Istanbul, and I really want to thank the whole team for making it such a memorable trip. Our room, with its partial Bosphorus view, was the perfect place to unwind. The housekeeping team were excellent – everything was spotless, and the evening turndown service was a lovely touch that we always looked forward to. The food throughout our stay was outstanding. From the authentic flavours at Shang Palace, to the relaxed atmosphere and great meals at IST TOO, and even the simple joy of having Mövenpick ice cream right in the hotel – every dining experience was consistently first-class. Breakfast deserves a special mention. I’m not always the easiest person first thing in the morning, but the food & beverage team managed to lift my mood every day. They didn’t just serve with efficiency, they took the time to engage with guests, asking about our plans and making genuine conversation. That little extra effort really set the tone for the rest of the day. I also want to highlight Tasneem from Guest Relations, who is currently a trainee. She went out of her way to check in with us whenever she was working, taking a real interest in how our day had been and how we were enjoying Istanbul. Her warmth and sincerity stood out and added so much to our stay. What makes the Shangri-La special isn’t only the luxury, it’s the people. Whether it was security, the front desk or the hosts, every interaction was filled with genuine kindness. Coming back from a busy day exploring, it felt more like returning home than walking into a hotel. By the end of the week, the team felt less like staff and more like family. That, in my view, is the true secret to the Shangri-La experience – it’s about relationships and the personal connections that stay with you long after checkout.

We stayed at the Shangri-La hotel on our last night in Istanbul… an overall splendid experience. Let me start with our airport pick up with Cagdas in his superb S-class. His driving through serious heavy rain was v professional and manoeuvred Istanbul rush hour with aplomb getting us to hotel is brilliant time - thx U Cagdas Our greeting with staff was excellent – very friendly and professional in their interactions. The room (we had an upgrade) was gorgeous with a balcony view of the Bosphorus and roof tops … though aircon was poor The pool was brilliant and the location is fantastic. It’s very close to historical sites and museums, and transportation is extremely convenient – though as only here for the night that’s an observation We had a later dinner (Exclusive Culinary Invitation – Taste of Shangri-La at Shang Palace) which was delicious and so worth the experience… For sure not cheap but if you want to treat yourself (and who doesn’t) We highly recommend Shangri-La Bosphorus
