Pacifica Resort Ixtapa

Awesome location, they own a big part of the mountain, the hotel is above the cliff. Pools were small and hot, but sea is wonderful and sand in the beach is dark but very soft. Cable Car is really cool with beautiful old Swiss technology. Not many options for food at the buffet or specialty despite they claim they have 10 restaurants, but if you are Mexican you will love the options, many are a little spicy but very delicious, also the snack at the beach is good. The worse part is the quality of drinks, but they are not too bad. If you reserve All Inclusive prepare to some restrictions like the number of breakfasts you can take. Also you can only take 4 specialty dinners if you reserved 7 nights. Usually they attend any request at your room very fast, we had a small issue in our room because there was heavy rain, they took sometime to attend because other rooms also had problems.I reported that at the reception desk next morning, the manager was very kind, also the manager of the beach restaurant was also very kind. Be careful if they give you a "free" breakfast at the restaurant "El Faro" because they will require you to attend their time share sale presentation.

We had a great 2 weeks here as a family with friends. There are children’s activities every day, adult games most days too, and a foam party on Fridays. There are many food options every day - buffet breakfast and lunch, and occasionally dinner buffet too, as well as sit down Italian, pizza, Asian, and “fancy” restaurant options. Be aware that the hotel rooms, while beautiful, are very open to the outside. This isn’t a problem temperature-wise, but you may want to bring a sound machine and an eye mask if that bothers you.

We have been going to Pacifica Ixtapa for 19 years. We absolutely love it! The resort is beautiful, clean and has all the amenities we want. The best part are the staff who work throughout the resort. They are amazing and work so hard. The very best!

My wife and I planned our wedding here at Pacifica Ixtapa. We had already stayed here together before and knew it would be the perfect place for such a special day. Our wedding planner, Leidy, was absolutely exceptional. She helped us with every detail throughout the entire process, and honestly, we couldn’t have imagined it turning out any better. She made our wedding truly special and stress-free. Beyond the wedding itself, she made our entire stay memorable. She greeted us at check-in and check-out, made us feel genuinely important, and went above and beyond to accommodate us and our families during the whole trip. We are so grateful for everything she did for us and would highly recommend both Pacifica Ixtapa and Leidy to anyone planning a wedding or vacation here.

We have been coming to Pacifica Itapa for over 20 years now, and it never disappoints. Beautiful location on the beach, a relaxed and friendly vibe, and the joy of awakening to the singing of birds. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The beach is incredible, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the restaurants are good and reasonably priced. I would like to personally thank the following staff: Ivan for his willingness to help in any way possible. Antonio for his service on the beach, always with a smile. Fernanda for helping me locate a book I had left on the beach. Freddy for taking care of our luggage, both coming and leaving, to Dora for booking a snorkeling trip for us, and to the person who brought coffee and pastry to our room every morning and kept our room spotless (Laura?).
