Great Vacation in Ixtapa Mexico
Great resort. Have visited many times in the the last 35 years. Good food, comfortable suites, very helpful and friendly staff, beautiful location.

Service on the beach is slipping. They need more staff.
We love Pacifica Ixtapa. That's why we've been going every year for nearly 20 years. However, the service on the beach has really slipped. We were seated in the VIP section, but we hardly ever could get a waiter to come help us. When we wanted something, most of the time we had to get up and chase down a waiter, which was not easy as they were quite busy. Most days we decided to forgo the beach because there was no service. No service in our room either obviously, but at least we had a kitchen and bath nearby. Since drinks are all inclusive, was the lack of service the resort's way of limiting our consumption? If so, it worked.

Nice trip but food service has devlined
Wait staff worked hard but very over staffed. Wait tome to be seated at breakfast long and then once seated, took time for coffee/ice tea service. Although food quality satisfactory, choices have become very limited. Beach service (Solarium) needs more service help. As always accommodations at Aqua excellent!

If you’re looking for a great Mexican vacation with Mexican families, this is certainly the place, clean, polite, and safe The inclusive food plan is wonderful and certainly more than you can even eat!
