This is the second year we've come. The resort is beautiful. The service is great, everything is clean. The beach is outstanding. The resort is comprised of numerous buildings, all are on a tiered hillside, so there are a lot of steps. They offer free transportation throughout the resort and even have a gondola. We just took the steps as it was a good break from sitting around on the beach all day.

Excellent Staff The entire staff at this resort are incredible. In particular. Ivan (beach concierge) has gone above and beyond to make sure we are enjoying our vacation. His English is excellent. He is very professional and friendly. Always a big smile to greet you every day. Thank you so much!

Pacifica Resort Ixtapa Mx just might be one of the best kept secrets in the world. The resort offers everything anybody looking for a winter vacation could offer. Most travelers head to Cancun because they have never heard of Ixtapa Mx but once you go, you will continue to go never looking back. #1 The weather will never let you down, always hot and sunny day after day with a mild breeze. Beautiful setting complete with lush palm trees and plants. The accommodations we stayed in had everything you would ever wish for with attention to detail! Pacifica is a architect's dream work of art built on a mountain side complete with a Gondola to reach the top. This resort unknown to many is another wonder of the world with breathtaking sunsets every night. Any room you get allows you a full view of the beach. The resort features an inclusive plan that you should take advantage of. There are 4 restaurants to choose from offering a variety of many traditional Mexican dishes. El Faro is the most unique offering a beautiful setting overlooking the beach with 5 Star service. The well groomed beach offers plenty of shade or sun under well built Palapa's complete with food/drink service while you relax on the beach. The waiters are always checking on you with a smile. No request is too much. They work willingly to make your stay even more memorable. There are many activities offered back at the many (6 or so pools) If you want to scuba dive, go fishing, go on a snorkeling trip,horseback ride on the beach, visit the fishing town of Zihuatanejo, walk to Ixtapa etc. It is totally a very safe place to spend a few weeks. I've been going since 2018 and have always felt very safe. The Mexican people are loving and humble people and welcome you to their town. The icing on the cake are the people who work behind the scenes that are always available to help make your vacation the most memorable. Special thanks go to Fernanda Ramos the new Concierge of Pacifica She is warm and friendly and will make sure you are enjoying your stay. She never forgets your face and will search you out to make sure everything is going well. Another employee that has a big job and does it with ease is Ivan Alvarez. He is in charge of the beach Palapa's. He will do his best to make sure everyone has a nice one and checks on everyone many times throughout the day. Very friendly and will try his best to help you find the spot you are going to love. A special shout out to Freddie and Perfecto who you might run into taking our luggage to your room. He's always happy to help you coming and going. If you are looking for a place that offers everything a winter resort has to offer, with a smile, Pacifica Resort Ixtapa will be your new Winter paradise.

We have been visiting Pacifica for 10 years, staying 2 weeks each year. It now feels like a home away from home. Such a friendly, relaxing environment full of awesome, hard-working staff and fun-loving, positive fellow guests from far and near. We appreciate the enthusiastic welcome and care we receive from each member of the Pacifica staff, not to mention the beauty of the Ixtapa Bay, along with the quality accommodations and restaurants. Each visit starts with an enthusiastic welcome from Perfecto, who transports our luggage to our room. Then we proceed to the front desk at Reception, manned by such amazing staff as Marina, Lluvia and Jackie, headed up by Eduardo. All four make us feel so welcome, remember our names, and provide any help we may need throughout our stay, always with a smile and unending patience no matter how busy they are. The check-in process is seamless. Then we organize our week with the concierge staff. Fernanda, Enrique, and Iran make sure that we have a palapa reserved for our stay and dinner reservations for the week. All three are very helpful, organized and friendly. Fernanda has definitely become a treasured friend throughout the years. Throughout the week, our positive experience is highlighted by many amazing staff members including but not limited to: servers Dagoberto and Martin, in addition to hostess Monserrat, at Tulipanes; Andres and Armando at El Faro; Alan, Nicholaus, Fabith and Raul at Moon Bar; and our various beach servers such as Iracema, Omar, and Bulmaro. Our gondola rides were made so pleasant by the friendly operators like Alejandro and Jorge. And behind the scenes, we appreciate Javier, Karistina and Mizuji in reservations/all-inclusive who help us make our plans for the next year. Another highlight is the support Pacifica gives to Casa Para Ninos, a before and after school program for underprivileged children in the community. We appreciate the dedication of Lourdes' outreach and the staff members Jackie and Marlen. All in all, Pacifica is an amazing place to stay thanks to the outstanding staff, beautiful venue, and quality restaurants. I highly recommend that you give this hidden gem a try. You'll not regret it!
