Great Location & Beautiful Property

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 22 hours ago

We absolutely loved the Rustic Inn! When planning our trip, I had looked at several of the other highly recommended places to stay in Jackson Hole, and they weren’t available for our dates. I can honestly say I’m SO glad they weren’t because Rustic Inn was AMAZING! The property is beautiful and has the perfect rustic, mountain feel. It truly felt like we were in Wyoming and fit the whole feel of our vacation perfectly. We actually stayed in both a King Cabin and a Superior Guest Room with Fireplace, so we got to experience both. While we enjoyed the cabin, the Superior Guest Room with Fireplace was well worth the little bit extra—especially if you love that cozy log-cabin feel. I would also highly recommend requesting an upper-level room. We loved having the balcony and the view! We had both breakfast and dinner at the resort, and the food was delicious. Everyone we encountered on the staff was helpful, friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is another big plus—close enough to easily enjoy downtown Jackson, but the property itself feels peaceful and tucked away from all the activity. Rustic Inn ended up being one of those happy surprises that made our trip even better than we planned. If we return to Jackson Hole, we wouldn’t even look anywhere else. We absolutely loved it and highly recommend it!

Nice property, but would look elsewhere for the money.

Cheap tissues and toilet paper, one ply. Bring your own, very overpriced and subpar food and drinks. We stayed in the Spa suites and Lacey was very helpful, about the only butler I would recommend.

Fantastic experience

We had a fantastic experience staying here. The room was beautiful - rivals some 5* properties we’ve stayed in. The restaurant staff were incredibly attentive and the food was very good - the bison chili was especially tasty. There is a beautiful nature preserve with fire pits so we sat out there every night and toasted s’mores. There was so much wildlife around - we even saw a family of beavers on multiple nights. The location is great and only a short walk into town, but the hotel shuttle is also super useful if you don’t feel like walking. We would definitely return.

Wish we stayed longer

Wish we had stayed here longer! First because Jackson and Grand Teton is a great place to be and second because I would have loved to have taken advantage of the hotel property more. We did not get a “cabin” because we were 3 adults so we opted for the 2 queen and pullout room with a deck. The pullout was extremely comfortable given that it was not the pillow top bed. Those were beyond comfortable! The property had a beautiful creek and oitdoor sitting areas as well as a bar and pool. Used small me of them quickly but could have spent more time here. Breakfast was outstanding…best hotel breakfast by far. Staff was very nice as well. The location just north of Jackson’s main shopping and dining area was perfect for easier access to GTNP as that is where we spent all of our time. There was a shuttle to downtown but we did drive ourselves. It would have been a great service to take advantage of as well…parallel parking in Jackson in July is a true challenge. I’d absolutely stay here again if we returned to the area! Great hotel!

Disappointing!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

The Rustic Inn did not live up to expectations. My room was located next to "Dangerous Chemicals" (see photos), and I heard noise from employees in this area during my stay. I'm guessing it was pool chemicals, but they shouldn't be stored next to a guest room. As I was leaving, I had to drag my suitcase past a lot of soapy water on the driveway as a bus driver washed his bus. I assumed this was a nice hotel, not a bus stop! As I expressed my dismay to the front desk, the girl said, "It's only soap and water, what is the problem?" If they don't understand why a guest would object to a bus being washed next to their room, I do not need to return! Their level of customer service is not what would be expected at a "resort". It felt like a Hampton Inn.
