A Return Visit

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

This was our second visit to Rustic Inn at Jackson Hole, with so many places to visit and enjoy in the U.S, return visits is something we try no to do, however with Jackson Hole we made an exception as it wasn't too much of a diversion on our road trip and what better place to stay again, of course, Rustic Inn. We upgraded a little this time from a basic cabin to a superior creek side double queen guest room with fireplace - to give it's full title! The upstairs wooden style cabin had a patio/porch area with table and chairs overlooking the car park, the room was spacious and had a smart bathroom, a kitchenette, fridge, microwave etc. It was comfortable, but a little dark. For our complimentary breakfast we had to walk back to the main building, unfortunately it was very wet having snowed then thawed with huge puddles to avoid. The breakfast room is through reception, past the bar area and upstairs. It is quite a small room for the number of guests and therefore very busy, so we preferred to take our food and drinks away from the crowd down the stairs to eat more comfortably in the cosy bar lounge seated area with fire. The location is excellent within walking distance of the town and therefore not having to drive and find parking. The reception staff are reactively friendly and informative. Overall we were pleased we had made a return visit but like most returns our memories were more perfect than the reality.

What a gem!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

What a hidden gem this hotel is! I love the "tiny home" concept where every room is its own cabin. I slept so well here, the bathroom was big and comfortable, the breakfast was more than adequate, convenient parking, and the grounds are just beautiful. I have been to Jackson many times and always stay somewhere different, but I can assert that Rustic Inn is my favorite spot I've stayed in town.

Great Trip

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Just returned from our trip to Jackson. The Rustic Inn is a great place to stay during your trip. Close to town and the accommodations are wonderful. Everyone was nice and helpful. The breakfast was awesome. Highly recommend staying here. We read all reviews. 1. The Breakfast was really good. It is pretty much the same everyday, other than changing up of the eggs, but we absolutely enjoyed it everyday. No need to go to breakfast anywhere else. 2. The rooms are a little dark, I would agree. However, they are very clean and we had plenty of space. 3. We only used the shuttle once because we had no trouble with parking. There is no shuttle from or to airport. This would be a nice option. 4. The lounge/bar was a great place to end the day. We really enjoyed coming in to the fireplace and a beverage. 5. Great staff always will to help.

Cozy, Adventurous honeymoon!

Our honeymoon was incredible. We stayed in a suite for a week and enjoyed all the amenities. We had rose petals in the room, fresh strawberries with chocolate on them, a bottle of st. Michelle sparkling wine and a bottle of Pinot Gris with fresh red roses and cards from our family all waiting for us to arrive. We got an early check-in, and the next morning - Breakfast was amazing, slightly different each day and we appreciated the variety. The restaurant is also yummy, the cheesecake for dessert with a glass of sparkling wine was our favorite, which is why we ordered it multiple times during our stay. We loved walking the property early in the mornings, and sat by the teepee fire put out back at night. The fire-pits became the most magical & cozy spot late at night with the crispy Wyoming stars. It was truly perfect. The spa was also above and beyond, the outdoor hot tubs are cozy, and everything had so much detail it is hard to express how much we enjoyed ourselves. The shuttle service is a nice treat as well, we rented a vehicle but saved so much time not having to worry about parking in downtown. Thank you to the staff, it was so fun and easy to enjoy.

AWESOME

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

Great property. The rooms inside are a bit dark & dreary. The outside property is amazing. Creek, firepits, lots of walking areas. Very close to downtown. Service was great, everyone was friendly. Other than the cabin dark decor, I have no complaints at all. The price is very high. But so is everything in Jackson. I would have love to have a creek side individual cabin but I needed 2 double beds. Great visit. Loved the firepits at night.
