We spent 4 nights here, earlier this month. This place is a unique, in-town resort property. Well maintained and excellent amenities. Note: the couple somewhat negative reviews for stays in early May of this year were nothing like what you should expect; they were bizarre, given our experience. Yes, you will have everything at the Rustic Inn for a special Jackson Hole experience. And, yes, the breakfast is great. The staff is friendly. And the housekeeping is exceptional. Enjoy!

We stay at rustic inn on our way back from Yellowstone. We choose a different hotel than our first 2 days in Jackson before Yellowstone. This resort was more expensive but can see why. Breakfast was really delicious and fresh. A step up from typical hotel breakfast. We stayed in the 2 queen superior suite. Enough room to spread out for our family of 4 with adult sons. They loved the workout room and sauna. Close to town but a little bit further than the first hotel. Used their complimentary shuttle on the night it was cold and snowy and it was great.

We recently stayed in one of the cabins at the Rustic Inn in Jackson Hole. While the property clearly wants to present itself as an upscale resort experience, our stay unfortunately fell well short of expectations — especially considering the price point. The property was under significant construction during our visit. The parking lot was actively being paved, which created an ongoing parking issue with very limited available spaces. Most stalls were occupied by construction or employee vehicles, and staff offered little practical help beyond telling guests to “wait until someone leaves.” At one point, another guest was even told to park in a handicap stall because there were no other options available. The cabin itself had a very strong exterior sealer/stain odor from recent refinishing work. The internet and TV both did not work during our stay, and the overall response from staff felt more focused on moving guests through the lobby than resolving issues. The pool was still being advertised as open and heated, but the area was taped off due to ongoing staining/construction work. I completely understand that properties need maintenance and upgrades, but the planning, communication, and guest experience around it all felt poorly managed. To top it off, construction activity started around 6:45 AM the next morning. There’s definitely potential here, and the grounds themselves could become very nice once construction is complete. But during our stay, the experience felt much closer to budget motel-level service than what was being marketed or priced as a resort stay. I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I also think honesty matters when people are deciding where to stay in Jackson. Oh & the cabins were literally about 3’ apart!

The good: Great location, helpful support staff, nice ambiance, comfortable bed, nice amenities. The bad: Workers were everywhere which upset the peaceful ambiance. We had no idea that the property would be under outdoor refurbishments to head into the “ high season”. It made us feel like we were not as valued as upcoming high season travelers. Irregular temperatures for the shower, with only cold water on my last day. Lastly, I noticed at the end of my stay, stained bedding. If I had noticed sooner, I would have insisted on it being changed. Really is not acceptable and disappointing.

We recently enjoyed a four-night stay at the Rustic Inn Creekside Resort & Spa, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. We stayed in a king suite cabin, which was absolutely beautiful - spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to reflect the natural surroundings. The setting itself is stunning, with peaceful views that made it easy to relax and fully enjoy each day. The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, always ready to offer recommendations and ensure we had everything we needed. Their warm and welcoming approach made a lasting impression. One of the highlights of our stay was spending time at the Preserve. We loved watching the beaver swim each evening and then seeing them hard at work on their hut in the mornings, such a unique and memorable experience. The resort also had a wonderful sense of community, with friendly guests and a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. Breakfast each morning was delicious and a perfect way to start the day. Overall, the entire property is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed. We would highly recommend the Rustic Inn to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic, and truly special getaway.
