Snow King Hotel

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Snow King and recommend it highly. Great location, great ski experience and ease as a family

Why disappointed? Hot tub wasn’t hot, in fact was quite cool one day. No free coffee in the lobby, like we’d experienced nearby (there is Kuerig in the room). In fact, they even charged for coffee with our pre-paid breakfast buffet. Really? Hotel construction removed a major comfortable gathering space overlooking the pool. The front desk and restaurant personnel were friendly and helpful though. I’ll return to our other hotel next time.

Would give negative stars if that was an option! Needed a reservation for a corporate event. Sent emails for WEEKS to the group coordinator, never heard back. Left voicemail messages for the group coordinator, never received a response. Finally called and they gave me a number for a person in North Caroline at a sister resort. She is literally the only person I spoke with who was decently pleasant. I left another message for the group coordinator after speaking to the NC lady. Again, no call back. I called NC again and she emailed the group coordinator who called me the next day and was abrasive. Said she keeps getting emails. THEN ANSWER YOUR PHONE OR EMAIL-you literally have one job, make reservations! Finally was able to make a reservation, never got a confirmation. I called the front desk about a week later, seeing that would be a simple way to get a confirmation and the front desk worker was horribly rude! I asked for a manager and she said she will not give out personal information. I don't want personal information, I want any competent person who can make a reservation confirmation at a HOTEL. We are planning on cancelling the trip due to the front desk worker and the group coordinator. Completely unacceptable! For being in the hospitality industry, all of these people need a refresher course. For anyone considering staying, read the reviews and go elsewhere-it is true-staff hate their job and want you to hate them too!

This resort is a great location right at the base of one option for snow skiing. Restaurant is good and staff very friendly. As others have experienced, a male at the front desk is rude and not friendly. Others are excellent. A lot of construction noise now which they offered no compensation during our 5 night stay. Overall great trip to Jackson Hole area and enjoyed skiing.

Except for young lady that checked us in, very unfriendly staff. Rooms were decent but was not told there would be construction and pool did not work. Would not charge restaurant or gift shop charges to your room. No guest water service which is important in high altitude. No shuttle service 3 days a week to amenities (gift spa or skiing/tubing) or airport. There are less expensive options with better amenities and service closer to downtown. Spa was great and restaurant food and drinks were great but neither appear affiliated with the hotel. Will not return to this resort
