We went horseback riding at Spring Creek Ranch and really enjoyed it. The horses seemed well taken care of. The views were beautiful. Fair price. Some of the others in the area were way too expensive.

we’re staying here now & nothing about this place is four stars. we booked our anniversary here and were greeted with a motel-like experience. we walked in to multiple dead bugs all over the carpets in both rooms. the floors and walls have stains all over them. the breakfast is not good and the same thing every day. the horseback riding crew was not friendly. the temp in the room is so uncomfortable and there’s no ac so you have to have smoky, dangerous air coming in and we had headaches constantly. really disappointed with this experience

Perfect amount of time and perfect speed for our fam, including 10 and 13 year old boys. Really fun, great scenery, and great staff. Bailey was an excellent guide and kept us together. We’d go again

We recently went on a trail ride at Spring Creek Ranch, and overall it was an incredible experience. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, the trail itself was beautiful, and our lead guide was honestly a 10/10. She was kind, patient, and genuinely made the ride enjoyable from start to finish. She deserves a lot of credit because she was fantastic. That said, there were a couple of things that really left a bad impression. One of the horses should not have been working that day. Before we even left, it was coughing, breathing hard, and it was obvious something wasn’t right. During the ride, the coughing became more noticeable. Hearing someone say the horse had been given cough syrup didn’t inspire much confidence. As someone who cares about animal welfare, it was uncomfortable to watch. The other issue was the man everyone referred to as “Boss Man.” The way he spoke to both employees and paying customers was disappointing. At the end of the ride, while we were waiting to dismount, my husband briefly backed his horse a few steps so I could get one last picture. We had all been shown how to back our horses before the ride, and he wasn’t being rough or doing anything unsafe. Despite that, “Boss Man” yelled from the barn for him to get off the horse as if he had done something wrong. It was embarrassing and completely unnecessary. I understand many guests are first-time riders, and safety should always come first, but there’s a respectful way to communicate with both customers and employees. This could have easily been a five-star experience. The guide, the horses (overall), and the trail were amazing. Unfortunately, the condition of one horse and the way management handled interactions took away from what should have been a perfect day. If someone above “Boss Man” would like to reach out, I’d be happy to privately share additional details because I believe these concerns deserve to be heard.

We are a family of 4 and we stayed for 5 days after visiting Yellowstone. The ranch has a great location to town while feeling secluded and peaceful. The unit could use some minor upkeep but overall enjoyed all the amazing views we had and abundant space in a 2 bedroom loft townhouse. I would stay again. We also did a horse back ride and BBQ dinner. Horse ride was beautiful and staff seemed experienced . MaCoy was our guide and she did great!! BBQ dinner experience was OK. Food was good but in a small space beside the stables. Eric at the front desk was knowledgeable and courteous and drove us to town and back one evening. George our guide for a morning safari booked through the ranch was high energy entertaining and very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend using him for a safari trip! The spring Creek Ranch gave him the wrong number to our unit and we got started late which was disappointing for a morning wildlife tour.
