We did the 2 hour horseback ride as a group and had the best time. There were 6 of us and we were all beginners. We loved the horses, our guide and the scenery. Can’t recommend this highly enough!

My friends and I went horseback riding at Spring Creek Ranch during our recent trip to Jackson, Wyoming, and we had the best time ever! The instructors were so kind and helpful, and it was such a neat experience! Very easy and great for people who have no prior experience with horseback riding. 10/10 recommend this activity as it was my favorite part of our trip!

If you're looking for a short (1-2 hour), horseback ride with incredible views of the mountains and Elk Preserve, I recommend Spring Creek. We did not stay at the hotel, but the team welcomed us warmly. The ride across the top of Gros Ventre Butte has incredible views in all directions. The wranglers and office team are so nice and the horses are calm enough for people who have never ridden before. My daughters and I truly enjoyed the ride.

This property is completed misrepresented by its website. It is not a RESORT. And the Conde Nast rating that's mentioned on their home page must have happened at least 20 years ago. We were very disappointed with the poor amenities on the property and also with the condition of the one-bedroom unit we rented. The hot tub was broken. There's no restaurant on site. Our unit had not been updated since it was built in the 1980's - except for what appeared to be fairly new vinyl plank flooring. We were barely able to turn the shower on. Mechanism had to be practically pulled out of the wall. The mattress was old and uncomfortable. After we returned home I had a conversation with the manager. He never apologized for the lack of amenities or the problems in our unit and seemed unconcerned when I explained that we would not be back. Each unit at this "resort" is individually owned. Therefore, each unit is different from every other in terms of upgrades, etc. When you make your reservation you're not told which unit you'll be in. There are no photos to look at. You don't know what you'll get. It's not like booking through a company like VRBO. I suggest you proceed with great caution. You'd be better off going through a local real estate company. Of course we all know prices in Jackson Hole are sky high. But even so, at the most basic level this property has fallen way behind proper standards based on what they charge for their rentals. The only reason I'm giving this property 3 stars is because the views are SPECTACULAR, otherwise I would give them no more than 2 stars.

My twin 6 year olds and I did the one hour trail ride, and we had an amazing time! Our guide Bella was very patient and knowledgeable. The views were so beautiful!
