Jaipur city, a UNESCO World Heritage site, forms one vertex of India’s Golden Triangle circuit and is your gateway to Rajasthan. This palace hotel, a reincarnation of the royal mahals of Jaipur, is located in tranquil environs away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It blends the splendour of Rajputana and Mughal architecture with pristine white exteriors embellished with ornate jaalis and silver-lined chhatris.
Walk along the marbled corridors adorned with parchin kari metal inlays and walls sparkling with thikri mirror work. Pause to admire vibrant frescoes depicting historical scenes. Sit back and relax in one of our many airy pavilions dotted with marble fountains. At sunset, join the evening ceremonial ritual, a Rajasthani folk music and dance gala at the poolside. Wine and dine under the stars gazing at the Aravalli hills before retiring to your boudoir. At every turn, The Leela Palace Jaipur, a luxury hotel in Jaipur, wows you with true Indian luxury, truly living up to its reputation as a 5-star hotel in Jaipur.

We had a wonderful stay at The Leela Palace Jaipur — truly a property that embodies royal elegance and warm hospitality. Our Royal Villa with Courtyard was absolutely lavish — incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated, and exuded that regal charm Leela is known for. Every detail, from the architecture to the interiors, made the stay feel special. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast spread. A big shoutout to Rohit and Pankaj from the restaurant team for their attentive service and warm smiles each morning. The live flute performance by Hemant during breakfast added such a soothing, royal touch to start the day. A couple of areas for improvement — the evening tea ritual seems to have been discontinued, which was a little disappointing. There were only a few snacks and no hot tea served during the cultural performance, which earlier used to be a highlight of the evening. Also, for guests staying in the Royal Villas, the cocktail hour mentioned in the brochure is no longer available, which left us wishing that it was still part of the experience. Overall, The Leela Jaipur remains a magnificent property with a grand ambience, impeccable rooms, and a team that truly cares. Just a few of these small touches returning would make the experience flawless once again.

I had high expectations for The Leela Palace, but my experience fell far short of what this property’s reputation suggests. While a few staff members made a genuine effort to assist, overall service was inconsistent and indifferent. The real issue lies with management, which came across as rude and dismissive. During breakfast, I was disturbed to witness a manager verbally abusing the flute player — behavior that was both unprofessional and deeply disrespectful. As a guest of Indian descent, I couldn’t shake the feeling of being treated differently — a subtle but unmistakable classist undertone that left me uncomfortable. For a hotel that prides itself on heritage and hospitality, this was profoundly disappointing. The Leela Palace has the potential to be extraordinary, but it’s clear that management culture needs serious reflection and reform before it can truly live up to its name. However, the property really is stunning and the food is delicious.

I had a wonderful experience with Hemant on the flute. His music was truly soothing and melodious, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The songs he played were beautiful and added a magical touch to the ambience, making the whole experience even more enjoyable
