About the Hotel
An oasis in the historic walled city of Jaipur, Samode Haveli is a traditional Indian mansion set in a glorious garden with apartments arranged around a series of courtyards. Built 175 years ago as a residence of the rulers of Samode, it is still occupied by their descendants, who have converted their home into a luxury hotel. Bedrooms are hidden all about the rambling building and are astonishingly decorative, covered in twinkling mirror work, with ornate paintings, tiny alcoves and soaring arches. Rooms have large beds and most have private terraces. The restaurant features a spectacular hand-painted dining hall which provides a special setting for dinner, and offers a choice of Indian food or delicious Asian and European meals. Guests can also take advantage of the hotel's spa, with sauna and steam room facilities, and a range of luxurious massage therapies offered by expert professionals.

Our stay at Samode Haveli was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the service was flawless, and we were thrilled to be upgraded to an absolutely amazing room that beautifully blended heritage charm with modern luxury. The property is a peaceful oasis away from the city's hustle and bustle—complete bliss and incredibly relaxing. The pool area is stunning, and dining at the outdoor restaurant was a highlight of our trip. The food was exceptional, the ambiance was magical, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Thank you for such an unforgettable stay! As a wonderful bonus, the hotel's location made it easy for us to take a day trip to Bagru village. Meeting the artisan block printers and witnessing their craft was an incredibly authentic and memorable experience.
