This is the best experience I have ever had at a hotel. Everywhere I wanted to go, I was able to get there in 15-20 mins via Grab! They even offered to call the rides FOR me. The room was amazing, ask for a room w a terrace overlooking the courtyard. I spent most afternoons by the pool & it was so serene, you cannot tell that it’s surrounded by a bustling city! & don’t get me started on the STAFF. I felt like a celebrity!! Arief, Daffa, Affan, Grace, & Nisa all made me feel so welcome & we’re so incredibly kind & accommodating. I made best friends w Arief, he suggested wonderful, local, Indonesian dishes for me to try everyday meal, & he even gifted me coffee beans on my last day. I was nervous to solo travel but knowing everyday that I would get to see them made my trip unbelievably comfortable. The hotel is beautiful but the staff are even better <3

I recently stopped by Dharmawangsa for a brief inspection visit and came away thoroughly impressed. I was greeted by Hamam, whose warm smile and genuine knowledge of the hotel's history and the artefacts displayed made for an excellent introduction. He guided me through the common areas with real pride, and rightly so, as they're charming, spacious and elegant. Hamam then led me out to the al fresco restaurant, where I tried the house speciality, Tubruk coffee, made by barista Diki. Diki was a delight, and it turned out he knew all about Melbourne's coffee scene, which made for a lovely chat over an excellent cup. Even on a short visit, the warmth of the staff and the quality of the surroundings left a strong impression. I'd happily return for a stay to experience all that Hamam spoke of.
