Grand Hyatt Jakarta is a 5 star luxury hotel located in the heart of the business district. It is located adjacent to Indonesia's most comprehensive and sophisticated shopping centre - Plaza Indonesia, and affords guests convenient access to government offices, museums and cultural attractions. Our grand hotel is just 40 minutes by car from Soekarno Hatta International Airport (CGK).

Grand Hyatt staff went out of their way in every possible instance. For example, all the staff knew my name (don’t even know how they did this 😊), I have celiac disease (gluten allergy) and the staff made my oat bran every day for me, reservations made promptly at hotel bars and one outside bar, staff kindly met me and escorted me to my room. Fantastic service with fantastic people. Great job by Kezya Laurens (Hyatt Club) and Fira and Andre (Front Desk hosts)

Location wise is the best. Attached with plaza indonesia, beside grand indonesia and kempinski hotel. My room at level 17 view Bundaran HI was amazing. Just expect some vehicle noise during weekend. Pro tips: 9PM u can walk at behind of the hotel for food street.

Great experience, fantastic location linked to Plaza Indonesia and near the central business district. Breakfast spread was good and the early availability at 6am is much appreciated especially for a biz traveller. I will be back next time.

We stayed and theme room. Room is big but does not merit the price, other the nice layout, bathroom is clean but smells. Only get breakfast which is very occupied. Kids activities are minimal.

We stayed here for one night, utilising our Free Night Award. The property is located at the heart of the city, offering the best view of Bundaran HI, the iconic monument of Jakarta. We came by car, and it was pretty difficult to get a parking spot as it shared the same spots with the adjoining mall of Plaza Indonesia. We came at 2.30PM and the room was not ready. I was assisted by a very nice and friendly staff Sabrina (if I am not mistaken). I asked for a paid room upgrade to get the Bundaran HI view, which she happily got for us. She was also kind to provide us an extra bed for my child. She offered access to the lounge for the four of us for around US95 which I felt a pretty good deal. In total I paid around US 120 for the Bundaran HI view and the lounge access. The property is not the most contemporary nor the most modern in Jakarta, it certainly showed its age. But I thought it still oozed comfort and cleanliness. Our room was a King-sized executive room with HI view. The room was huge, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with all the amenities you might need. The bed was great, the pillows were really nice and the linens felt fresh. The view won it though. We had dinner at the lounge and they were amazing. The quality of the food were unexpectedly tasty. They provided Indonesian, Asian and Western choices. Do not hesitate to splurge extra for the lounge access. The staff here were all very warm and welcoming. The food at the breakfast were equally amazing. The variety, taste, the friendliness of the staff, really top notch. We were there during Easter and they held an egg hunt activity for the children. My kids had a lot of fun. Check out was quick and efficient. Unfortunately, I did not get Hyatt points from my stay. I did not make myself clear at check in and at check out whether I would accrued Hyatt points for the US120 I paid, because I thought it was still accounted as expenses at the property. After at least 4 times calling them, explaining them my situation and waiting for nearly 1 month, they sent me an email saying that I would not accrue any points. Really, a disappointing outcome to an otherwise a great experience.
