​The Overview ​Having stayed here multiple times over the past few months, the Grand Hyatt Jakarta remains a reliable staple for luxury in the heart of the city. It offers a blend of classic elegance and modern comfort, though there are small nuances that frequent guests (and elites) will notice. ​The Room & Elite Experience ​As a Globalist, the suite upgrades have been consistent and much appreciated. The rooms are well-appointed, spacious, and impeccably clean. ​Pro Tip: If you choose a room facing Bundaran HI, you get a front-row seat to Jakarta’s iconic skyline, though be prepared for a bit of city noise. ​The "Welcome" Factor: One area for improvement is the consistency of welcome amenities. While I’ve received a lovely spread of chocolates, peanuts, and cookies on some stays, others have been more sparse—or missing entirely until requested. ​Dining & Dietary Personalization ​The breakfast spread is vast and high-quality, with the Coconut Jelly being an absolute must-try. ​Vegetarian Dining: As vegetarians on a staycation, we found the Club Lounge service helpful, though the culinary suggestions could be more creative (recommending Nasi Goreng or Mie Goreng feels a bit basic for a hotel of this caliber). ​Culinary Highlights: A huge shout-out to Chef Babu, who went above and beyond to prepare authentic vegetarian Indian dishes for us. It’s this kind of personalized care that elevates a stay. ​ Service & Amenities ​The staff truly makes the experience. Millencia and Sukma at the Club Lounge are standout professionals who ensure a smooth experience. ​Wellness: The saltwater pool is a hidden gem—being non-chlorinated, it’s much gentler on the skin and a refreshing change from standard hotel pools. ​ Location: You can't beat being central, but travelers should keep the even-odd (Ganjil-Genap) traffic system in mind when planning arrivals and departures during peak hours. The Verdict ​A sophisticated choice for both business and leisure. While the "hardware" is excellent, a bit more consistency in elite recognition and more proactive vegetarian culinary options in the lounge would make it perfect.

The bedrooms, with separate living rooms, sofas, dining tables, and luxurious marble bathrooms, offered the comfort of a private apartment in Jakarta. The location right in front of the H.I. roundabout is a major draw. Direct connection to Plaza Indonesia and close proximity to Grand Indonesia makes it easy for those who enjoy shopping and dining at the mall. I would also like to express my gratitude to Mr. Levvy (Receptionist) for his kind, friendly, and heartfelt service upon check-in, enabling my family and I to enjoy an unforgettable staycation at the Grand Hyatt Jakarta. Another added value lies in exclusive access to the Grand Club Lounge, which makes the stay even more special. This tranquil lounge with city views serves afternoon tea and evening cocktails, along with premium food and complimentary alcoholic beverages. This facility not only provides financial value but also a private atmosphere away from the crowds. Plus, hotel amenities like a swimming pool, a city oasis, and a fully equipped 24-hour fitness center, along with a spa, sauna, steam room, and Jacuzzi, all your relaxation and productivity needs are met within one complex. Every element is designed for ultimate luxury, supported by friendly and helpful service, creating a perfect stay.

First visit of the year and again everything was perfect.. smooth & fast check in, the room was ready to welcome us with lovely amenities for the kids.. Breakfast is top and we really loved the Healthy Salad Counter...the variety is huge and all the dishes were tasty.. we also tried the new "Club Italiano" for dinner and was a beautiful experience.. staff was very kind and well prepared to explain all the food. Food prepared from Chef Ivan and his Team was just wow.. tasty, well presented with proper portions, embracing 100% the Italian philosophy of confort & sharing food.. big thanks also to Valerio & service Team for the attentive and well executed service. Overall we had a great stay and we would like to thanks All the Staff for their kindness and service.. see you soon again Grand Hyatt Jakarta Team 🙏🏼😊
