Unforgettable Family Stay at Mandarin Oriental Jakarta
We recently stayed at Mandarin Oriental Jakarta for 3 days and 2 nights to celebrate our daughter’s 2nd birthday, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the reception was warm and welcoming, making us feel immediately at home. The team went above and beyond to make the celebration special — shoutout to Tami, Ochi, Sherly and Vollyn from the guest relations department- the room decorations were beautifully done and perfectly suited for the occasion. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, and we really appreciated the effort put into making our stay memorable. Thanks also to Fajar from HK for the room setup. Breakfast each morning was amazing, with a great variety and high-quality food. The pool area was also fantastic, and we were especially impressed by how attentive and professional the lifeguard was, which gave us extra peace of mind with a young child. Overall, the service was exceptional throughout our stay. The staff attended to all our needs with genuine care and hospitality. It’s the kind of experience that truly makes you want to come back again. Highly recommended, especially for families celebrating special moments.

Ranked Best Business Hotel for a Reason
We chose this venue to host a very high-level event for our non-profit organization. We were initially hesitant because, of course, we are mindful of costs. However, their prices were competitive with other hotels in the area, and we are SO happy with our decision. Their team could not have been more professional, and they literally saved us so much money in the end by being so helpful, which also allowed us to focus on OUR jobs and not event planning (their staff was so thorough we didn't even need to hire a fixer). Moreover, we had people traveling from all over the world and staying here for the event, and I know of several instances where the staff went above and beyond to help them individually with flight problems, medication refills, you name it. Our guests were very happy, which makes us happy, when people are donating their time and traveling days in some cases to attend an event. Whether you're looking for a business, NGO, or social function, I don't think you could make a better choice. We work all over the world and the experience here was a night and day difference compared with other institutions we've worked with (many of which were much more expensive). We would book again in a heartbeat and are actively trying to find a reason to return!

Very nice hotel in central Jakarta
Great hotel with a feelgood factor from start to finish. We had an efficient check-in, and as our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, we were invited into the lounge on one of the higher floors, to have drinks and snacks on the house. The room decor might be viewed as a bit outdated, however, our room was very large and all furnishings were of a very high quality. The place was spotlessly clean. Great concierge service, and also a superb breakfast in the mornings.

Spacious Room, with great service.
This was my first stay at Mandarin Oriental Jakarta, and it was a memorable one. As it was my first mother-daughter trip, choosing a reputable hotel was important to us for comfort and peace of mind. The hotel is conveniently located near a mall, making it easy to access dining and shopping options. Service throughout our stay was exceptional. In particular, I would like to thank Kelly at reception, who kindly arranged an early check-in after our early morning flight—we truly appreciated the chance to rest right away. The bell boys and security personals were friendly and welcoming as well. I loved it that our luggages were handled promptly upon check in and check out. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. There was a slight issue with dust upon arrival, but it was promptly resolved after we shared our feedback with the reception team. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide and enjoyable spread. The swimming pool, however, is quite deep at 1.8m, which may not be ideal for young children. We also noted that the spa prices were on the higher side, so we did not make a booking. Overall, we had a pleasant and comfortable stay, and would consider returning in the future.
