I had an amazing stay at the Ritz-Carlton Jeddah which included great service, a beautiful room and a wonderful restaurant. My room had amazing views of the Southern Corniche and was in great shape. I really enjoyed the breakfast in the formal restaurant which offered a variety of dishes, all expertly prepared.

My recent stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Jeddah was a experience of stark contrasts. While the hotel boasts the hallmark grandeur of the brand and an outstanding human element in the lobby, the supporting services and operational facilities fell short of the luxury standards I expected. Highlights & Strengths: • Exceptional First Impression: The entrance staff and bellmen were truly outstanding—welcoming, efficient, and genuinely hospitable. They are the true ambassadors of the brand. • Seamless Check-in: The reception team provided a flawless and remarkably fast check-in process, which I highly appreciated. • Visual Grandeur: The lobby is in pristine condition, reflecting the luxury and prestige associated with The Ritz-Carlton name. The rooms are also good, well-maintained, and comfortable. Areas for Improvement (Constructive Feedback): As a guest who values this prestigious brand, I noticed significant gaps in the "supporting services" that are essential for a complete luxury experience: 1. Limited Dining Options & Value: There is a noticeable lack of diverse dining venues. During my stay, the only option for Iftar was the Ramadan Tent. At 485 SAR per person, the price point felt extremely high relative to the quality of the buffet, which was quite modest and did not reflect the culinary excellence usually found at The Ritz-Carlton. 2. Facility Operating Hours: It was quite disappointing that the coffee shop remained closed until after Iftar. This limited guests' options for a quiet seating area or lighter meal alternatives during the day. 3. Room Service Efficiency: There was a significant lag in Room Service response times. Improving staff coordination or increasing manpower is vital to ensure that guest requests are met with the urgency expected in a five-star establishment. Conclusion: While the "front-end" staff are a credit to the hotel, there is an urgent need to elevate the operational services and diversify dining options to match the premium pricing. My experience was unfortunately below expectations, and I hope these observations are taken as constructive input to enhance the guest journey for future visits.

Severe Mismanagement and Complete Lack of Responsibility at The Ritz-Carlton Jeddah

My experience at this hotel was absolutely unacceptable. I forgot my passport in the room and immediately called the hotel. I was clearly told that it was there. Based on this confirmation, I returned from Makkah because they insisted that I had to come back in person due to their “rules.” When I arrived, I was shocked to discover that the passport was not there and that no one at the reception knew anything about it. The staff showed a complete lack of organization and responsibility. They went back to the room to search again, but it was still not found. This situation put me through a very serious psychological ordeal. Losing a passport is not a minor issue, and yet the staff showed no empathy, no urgency, and no professionalism. For a hotel that claims luxury standards, this level of service is completely unacceptable.

The Ritz-Carlton Jeddah is an amazing hotel. The location is excellent, the property is luxurious, and everything was perfect during my stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the hotel was spotless. I truly enjoyed my experience and would gladly return.

Excellent hospitality, I was upgraded to the Royal suite where you feel you are in heaven 😊 Very grandly team, clean rooms and facility. Will definitely visit again and recommend it to all my friends and family.
