We recently had a fabulous visit to Jerusalem and stayed at the Mamilla Hotel. The hotel is definitely five stars and surpasses expectations in all categories. It is well located adjacent to the Mamilla Mall with very easy access to the Old City and Central Jerusalem is just a short walk. The hotel is close to the Light Rail (convenient when operating) and has guest parking in an attached parking ramp. The staff throughout the entire hotel is welcoming, courteous, and very attentive to all your needs. We saw this immediately at check-in with Yathreb at the front desk. We saw it again during check-out with Mohamed . The attention to your needs and comfort is a top priority. We had a minor problem with our room and a manager and repair person immediately showed up to fix it. Shortly afterwards, Fadi, the manager came over to us and invited us to change rooms to an upgraded suite. He frequently checked in with us, along with other staff members to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The rooms are modern and spotless. Each has a soaking tub and separate shower to enjoy. They are well equipped with a small refrigerator, coffee maker and refilled bottles of water. The room service is prompt in the morning and the room is cleaned and refreshed during turndown service when you are at dinner. Speaking of dinner, the hotel restaurants are outstanding. Start your day with a full Israeli breakfast in a large and open dining room with a pleasant outside patio. There is abundant staff to bring you any and all the beverages you desire. Normally, in a city such as Jerusalem, we take advantage of the excellent dining available. We have been to Jerusalem many times and this time decided to eat at the two hotel restaurants, The Rooftop and Happy Fish. The best decisions we made. Both restaurants excel in quality, service, and ambiance. Happy Fish is an outdoor restaurant featuring kosher dairy, pasta, and fish dishes. My wife and I had a Greek salad and roasted eggplant appetizer. Both were delicious and could have sufficed for dinner. However, we each had the grilled Sea Bass which was cooked to perfection. A piece of really good cheesecake topped of the meal. But the best part was dining there on a Tuesday. The have lively Greek music from 8-10:30 pm. It's like eating at big party and I highly recommend it. The Rooftop restaurant is truly top notch. It is a kosher meat restaurant with a large outdoor patio and exquisite views of the Old City. They have very creative dishes with an Asian flair and fantastic presentations. They are more than willing to make any cocktail you would like. The wine list is extensive and they had the label my wife was looking for. We shared the spicy tuna nigiri appetizer. The dish was deliciously spiced and crispy. For main dishes we enjoyed the miso sirloin served over roasted bone marrow and the special dish, lamb chops served with a curry pumpkin vegetable and beans. The meals were truly deserving of a fine dining label. In summary, the Mamilla hotel offers upscale rooms, service, and restaurants to really elevate your stay in this most amazing city. We hope to return soon.

Great hotel, located on most central place in Jerusalem. Comfortable bed and amazing bathroom. Nice breakfast and lovely staff. We met Mark and he was very kind and helpful.

My husband and I went to dinner at Rooftop at the Mamilla Hotel. I can't say enough about the incredible food and Chef Ran's talent. Rooftop is hands-down my favorite restaurant in Israel. The food is exceptional in terms of both taste (out of this world!) and presentation (you almost feel bad eating it). Though a bit high in price, it is worth every penny. This is more than just a phenomenal dinner; it is a fantastic experience. The views of the Old City of Jerusalem are gorgeous at night, adding to the gorgeous ambiance. Totally recommend Rooftop for an anniversary, birthday, date night, or any special occasion.

Beautiful hotel, amazing location, and exceptional service. Especially Mark at reception he was terrific. He went out of his way and really went above and beyond. The pillows were super comfortable and the room was beautiful and clean. The only thing was the that the pool was a little bit underwhelming - but the rooftop deck is great! Overall, this was a great experience and I would definitely come back

The hotel is in a great location, the rooftop restaurant is top notch great food amazing service and fabulous view. The pool location is very disappointing it is an inside pool. The sun top balcony is nice, missing music , bar, the phone to call room service is not working had to call from my cell. But all in all the staff is very nice welcoming and service is high. One more thing the tv could have a streamer (I had in other hotels which are less in class then this) would add to the room pleasantness considering there are no balconies
