The Mamilla hotel was founded in 2009. Our family stayed few days at this period. In 2026, we decided to come back. We have been upgraded to a large suite which is a very positive point. This hotel is still fresh combining design and old stones. It is perfectly located near the old town and the Mamilla promenade offering shops and restaurants. We discovered that the hotel was not full, maybe half the people they had in the past. We were also disappointed by the buffet breakfast. 17 years ago, the population in the restaurant was top class with a quiet and polite behaviour. People were well dressed and had a perfect attitude. In 2026, we had the impression people were coming from a third world country. No queues respected, food was touched all the time and taken with their hands, lots of noise during the breakfast... I understand that in period of crisis, hotels have a tendency of cutting prices to attract more people but it led to a situation where a hotel supposed to be a palace was full of people who did not have the class and behaviour that should come with it. The personnel had not the right attitude for that kind of hotel. They spoke a lot with eachother during the service and did not fully pay attention to clients. Al in all we had a great stay and the hotel was a good value for money. Also to mention a warm welcome at the reception

Mark and Hamzeh are professional, cordial and were extremely helpful. They both made sure that the room we were in was comfortable and to our liking. They went above and beyond in order to satisfy us and to make sure our stay was memorable. We value our experience at the Mamilla Hotel and especially our interaction with their staff. Genny and Stephane at the concierge helped plan our activities to our total satisfaction. We look forward to returning in April or May ‘27. Great Hotel.

We opted to stay at Mamilla during our late summer trip to Jerusalem, and we were so happy with our decision. Jerusalem can be loud, hot, and crowded this time of year, and Mamilla was the perfect antidote to the wonderful chaos outside. The hotel was serene and quiet, the rooms were comfortable and inviting, and breakfast was delicious. A special thank you to Mark at the front desk, who went out of his way to make our stay especially memorable. Mamilla truly felt like an oasis in the middle of Jerusalem, and we can’t wait to return.

This was our second stay at the Mamilla Hotel, and somehow it was even better than the first. We stayed in the Mamilla Suite, which was beautiful, very clean and comfortable, with an amazing view of the Old City. The location really can’t be beat, and even though you’re right in the middle of everything, we had a very peaceful and comfortable stay. Shabbat breakfast was excellent again as well. We also really enjoyed the indoor pool. Even though it was summer and most people probably prefer an outdoor pool, with kids it was actually perfect not having to worry about the sun or sunburns. They also have a small kiddie pool on the side, which was a really nice touch for families. I’ve stayed at many hotels around Israel, and one thing that really stands out about Mamilla is the service and atmosphere. The front desk team really makes you feel welcome and special, and they genuinely try to do whatever they can to make sure you have a great stay. A huge thank you to Mark, who made sure we had everything we needed before we even arrived and was extremely professional when we met him. Tyseer actually remembered me from our previous stay months ago, which was really nice, and once again made us feel very welcome. And a big thank you to Faris as well, who helped make our stay even more enjoyable. We wish him lots of luck on his next adventure! Between the location, beautiful rooms, cleanliness, breakfast, amenities and especially the service, we had an amazing stay and will definitely be back.
