Raffles Bali

Great ocean view and villa is quite spacious. Enough privacy. Butler team is very professional, our requests were all being promptly attended and were arranged well. We had a really great and comfortable stay, already considering to take whole family to be there again.

The service was top notch and literally felt like home and an extremely relaxing stay. My partner and I visited for our mini moon and it was one of the best stay and experience we received from the entire team. A huge thank you to our butler team and Indri as she was super hands on and very welcoming.

Yes, the service is very good, but I cannot escape the dissatisfaction emanating from the misleading marketing materials not representing reality. A large Marriot Luxury Collection property, Karv, is being built immediately adjacent to the Raffles site. Aside from the construction noise, which went on until ~20:00 each day, the proximity of the tall hotel building is inescapable, and significantly compromises the setting of the Raffles property. Much of the Raffles marketing material on their website was either shot before construction commenced, or has been edited to remove the site from the background. See the images attached - construction has since progressed since these were taken, but the impact is the same.

We were staying in a panoramic villa and while there was some construction noise during the day, this did not take away from the impeccable service provided throughout our stay. The butlers, namely Sila and Krishna were very efficient and capable at assisting us with everything from adhoc requests, booking of activities to arranging transport and onsite facilities. The villa was spacious for a family of 4 with 2 young kids who each had their own bed in the villa. It is in the tropics so there were mosquitoes but the resort takes precautions by running fumigation on site periodically. The staff at breakfast were nothing short of amazing as well; they personally made recommendations and preempted our requests based on previous days. The entire experience was nothing short of what we enjoy about 5 star resorts. We enjoyed it so much that we are booking another stay in a couple of weeks time. The beach is not swimmable so we booked a room at the nearby intercontinental so our kids could swim at the beach there but the resort itself provides beautiful views and is also close to Samasta Village where one can seek out alternative dining options easily should they wish to.
