Raffles Bali

Great experience celebrating our anniversary. From the moment we booked until departure, every detail felt thoughtfully curated and genuinely luxurious. The panoramic villa offered incredible views and the perfect balance of privacy and relaxation. If you’re looking for a more secluded experience away from the crowds, this is truly a special place to unwind and reconnect. Dining throughout the stay was exceptional. The 5-course dinner at Rumari was spectacular with beautifully presented dishes, attentive service, and an unforgettable atmosphere. Lunch at Loloan was equally memorable with amazing views and fresh, flavorful food. A special thank you to our butler, Seva, who was always available, kind, and incredibly helpful with scheduling activities and recommendations. The staff overall were warm, friendly, and consistently went above and beyond to make the stay seamless. We also loved the little touches throughout the experience, especially the nightly turndown service with tea and treats waiting for us each evening. And definitely try the stingless bee honey from the garden, such a unique and delicious touch. We can’t say enough great things about this property and highly recommend it for couples celebrating a special occasion or anyone looking for a luxurious, peaceful, and highly personalized Bali experience

Stayed at Raffles Bali expecting privacy, tranquility and highly personalized service. Unfortunately, our experience was very different. What we liked: * Rumari was excellent and became one of the highlights of our stay. * Beautiful villas and grounds. What went wrong: * Wedding events directly in front of our villa on two consecutive evenings, without prior notice before arrival/check-in. * Daytime construction noise affecting the resort atmosphere. * Weak service consistency at Loloan (wine and coffee never arrived; after waiting around 20 minutes we had to leave). * Housekeeping delays on the first day. * Small gym with outdated equipment for a property of this level. * Snake encounter on resort pathways causing significant distress. * Health concerns during the stay and no flexibility regarding late check-out despite the situation and Accor Diamond loyalty status. None of these points alone would necessarily define a stay. Together, however, they created a pattern of poor communication, lack of proactivity and service falling short of expectations for a luxury resort. Expected much more from the Raffles brand.

The team at Raffles Bali went above and beyond to make our experience the best. I have never been so thoroughly attended to and considered. Our concierge/butler Sila was incredibly thoughtful, helpful, and kind. Everything about the resort was amazing from the food to the landscape to the spa. I could not recommend Raffles Bali enough.

We stayed at the Hilltop pool villa (one bedroom). The view from the room was straight out of a postcard! The villa design is brilliant. Sitting atop a small hill, the bedroom directly faces the panoramic view of the Jimbaran Bay, and as a bonus, the runway of the Bali airport. The overall view, which includes waves of Jimbaran Bay, the forest surrounding the villas, and the landing/ taking off jets, is simply unbelievable. My photo does NOT do justice. Just to be clear, the airport is just far enough for the sound of the planes to not be an issue while still offering amazing views of the planes. Both restaurants, Rumari and Loloan, have great food and great views. Lastly, the service of Raffles is unmatched. We were picked up right as we came out of the aerobridge after we landed in Bali. By the time we finished immigration, Raffles already arranged for our luggages to be collected from the belt. The dedicated butler service makes the stay extremely smooth (you can just WhatsApp your butler for anything). The staff, all across, is pleasant and always going the extra mile to help you out! The property is huge but only has 32 villas. That means the villas feel quite secluded (which is a plus for privacy and immersion). Few things to note: - There is still an ongoing construction nearby. But for our villa at least, neither noise nor privacy was an issue. - The breakfast is served at Rumari, which at night, doubles as a fine dining restaurant. There’s a dress code for the dinner (smart casual), none for breakfast. The breakfast is NOT a traditional buffet but is served from a menu. That said, if anything, I found the breakfast just as elaborate as most buffets, and frankly an overall better experience as the wait staff will bring everything for you and will also make recommendations. You can just sit and enjoy the views without having to go around and pick up food. - The beach, although private, is not swimmable. It’s rocky. But get a few towels, and your hats (that Raffles will provide in the villa), you can have a picnic!

Our stay at Raffles Bali was amazing from start to finish. Our check in was seamless, and the property was stunning, secluded, and perfect for relaxation. The villa was spacious, with beautiful traditional Balinese touches and decor, and a beautiful private pool with lounge chairs and cabana to sit in. The room had high end amenities and a fully stocked minibar snacks and non alcoholic drinks included and replenished daily. The highlight though was the service. Every staff member learned our names and preferences, and the entire staff went above and beyond to fulfill any request. Our butler Krishna was fantastic, and took care of any concern and even looked up places off property to help us find salons. Rina at Rumari’s breakfast always remembered our tea order, suggested dishes for us and brought new things she loved for us to try. These thoughtful gestures really made a difference and truly made this the best service we’ve received at any hotel. Even upon checkout, we were given a private car transfer with snacks and waters, as well as personally escorted through the airport through checkout and security all the way to the gate. Highlights food wise were dinner at Rumari, with personalized gifts and touches for our celebration, the seafood platter at Loloan, and afternoon tea at Writer’s Bar. Turndown service was always a pleasure with nice treats and teas/drinks. Our birthday and anniversary we celebrated was recognized with cake and chocolate bonbons. We also had a complimentary photo session with the onsite photographer, and ended up purchasing more photos than the included complimentary print as we loved many of the shots. I could go on and on about this resort, but I will just say that after staying at many amazing high end properties around the world, this may be my favorite stay of them all. We cannot wait to return!
