Raffles Bali

The location was absolutely stunning, and every member of the staff was exceptionally polished and professional. Everything about our stay was simply perfect.

I was really torn about whether I should write a review. In the end I thought I should as some might be disappointed. I think the hotel might be short staffed. The resort itself is beautiful. The villas are spacious. The resort pool is rarely busy and you can always get a cabana if you go before noon — indeed, we would go after breakfast and no one would be there at all even though it technically opens at 7. They start serving drinks at 11 and food at noon. Most people seem to start to show up midday. The butlers are friendly but to be honest I didn’t find them to be very engaged or interested. It’s more of a shared WhatsApp service kind of like the reception on a club floor. In retrospect, we probably should have been more proactive about booking activities like the nature walk or the pottery class or the photo shoot. That said, we did enjoy our time at the resort and found it very relaxing. Housekeeping completely forgot to clean our villa one day — and the butler staff were mortified (and gave us lots of chocolates!) The spa was good and we went five times during our stay — we did a test run the first day and truly enjoyed it and then booked four more visits for the two of us (so ten treatments in total) Sadly, on our last day my massage was very disappointing — and I did flag it to staff both on the butlers’ WhatsApp and in an email after we departed. I felt that the masseuse seemed very inexperienced compared to all the others. On the plus side, the spa gives a 10% discount to Diamond members — though prior to arrival I was told that there were no discounts for members (and oddly the spa staff kept referring to our status as Platinum which is one step down from Diamond). Overall, it is a lovely resort and Rumari serves beautiful breakfast. We just found the hotel service, while very friendly, to be inconsistent compared to other resorts of this calibre and price point. I must admit that my Raffles benchmark is the OWO in London which is my favourite hotel so perhaps they have spoiled me for the other Raffles.

I spent my summer vacation at Raffles Bali, and it was such a happy and unforgettable experience.😊 From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel so welcome. Wherever we went — our villa, the pool, the restaurants, or just walking around the resort — every member of the team was always friendly, warm, and genuinely kind. What I loved most was how well cared for we felt throughout our stay. Everyone was so attentive and thoughtful that we never had to worry about a thing. It really felt like they wanted us to simply relax and enjoy every moment.💕 Beautiful views, delicious food, peaceful moments surrounded by nature, and most of all, the warm and lovely people. 💚 Everything about Raffles Bali made this trip so special. A very special thank you to our butler, Jerikho. He was always warm, thoughtful, and somehow knew exactly what we needed. All the little things he did for us made our stay even more comfortable and memorable. Our stay at Raffles Bali was nothing short of magical. We spent three days and two nights here, and it truly felt like we were in paradise. From the moment we arrived, everything about Raffles Bali was exceptional. The beautiful surroundings, peaceful atmosphere, stunning villa, wonderful food, and impeccable service all made our stay incredibly special. But what made our experience truly unforgettable was the thoughtful and heartfelt care we received from our butler, Jerikho. Jerikho was much more than a wonderful butler. He was incredibly attentive, warm, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. He always seemed to know what we needed before we even had to ask, and every little detail he took care of made us feel truly valued and welcomed. What touched us most was that his kindness never felt like simply part of his job. There was a genuine warmth and sincerity in the way he cared for us, and that made our stay feel much more personal and meaningful. On our last day, Jerikho even surprised us with a heartfelt handwritten letter and a thoughtful gift. It was such a beautiful and unexpected gesture that it deeply touched both my friend and me. Even after leaving Raffles Bali, we will continue to cherish that letter and gift as precious memories of our time there. Luxury is not only about beautiful villas or exceptional facilities. To me, true luxury is when someone makes you feel genuinely cared for, remembered, and special. Jerikho gave us exactly that experience. Thank you, Jerikho, for making our three days and two nights at Raffles Bali feel like heaven. Because of your kindness and thoughtful care, our memories of Bali have become even more beautiful and meaningful. My friend Sunha and I will never forget the wonderful time we had here, and we sincerely hope to return to Raffles Bali someday. And when we do, I truly hope we will have the chance to see Jerikho again.
