Perched high above the desert capital of Jodhpur, Umaid Bhawan Palace is the last of the great palaces of India and one of the largest private residences in the world – set amidst 26 acres of lush gardens. Designed by renowned Edwardian architect Henry Lanchester, the palace is a blend of eastern and western architectural influences. Its majestic 105 – foot high cupola is influenced by the Renaissance, while the towers draw inspiration from Rajput tradition. The lavish interiors with gilt furniture and elegant artwork follow the Art Deco style, complemented by the exotic murals by the self-exiled Polish artist Stefan Norblin. In 1997, the palace was converted into a luxury hotel, and is now managed by TAJ. With this, the TAJ extends its grand luxury palace experience to the city of Jodhpur.

**An Unforgettable Stay at Umaid Bhawan Palace** Our stay at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur was truly exceptional, one of the finest hospitality experiences we've had anywhere in the world. The grandeur of the palace, with its stunning Art Deco architecture and rich history, makes you feel like royalty from the moment you arrive. A special mention for Sikander Singh, who made our visit even more memorable. His warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care for guests added a personal touch that went well beyond standard service. He ensured every detail of our stay was taken care of, and his hospitality reflected the true spirit of Rajasthani warmth. The property itself is immaculate, the dining experience superb, and the overall ambience regal yet welcoming. We're already looking forward to visiting again with our family soon. Highly recommend Umaid Bhawan Palace to anyone seeking a blend of luxury,

I recently stayed at the Umaid Bhawan Jodhpur and it was such a serene experience for me. I was mesmerised by the beauty of the palace. It is magnificent and so well preserved. It exudes royalty in every aspect. I am thoroughly impressed by the hospitality of the staff there. Right from the front desk to the floor butler. Everyone is thoughtful and goes an extra mile. My room - the royal palace - like its name suggest was truly a royal stay. Impeccable cleanliness and upkeep. The housekeeping staff is efficient and prompt with their service. Super comfortable stay. The best one yet. Special thank you to Sikander Singh Ji for such an informative tour of the place and taking the time to make our trip so memorable. He was so kind and enthusiastic throughout the tour. He is an asset to the palace. I would like to mention Chef Shobhit and Chef Gaurav for their food preparations for us in each meal. They are truly amazing. Esp mention to the Kadhi with dal kachori and the Palace special salad prepared for us . Thank you so much for living upto our expectations and beyond. Mr Aaryan at the Trophy bar is a bar wizard with mixology . He made us some amazing cocktails with innovative palette cleansers in between. He is very knowledgeable. A special mention to Karan Singh ji and Swaroop Singh ji and everyone in the staff for making our stay super comfortable and welcoming. The hospitality has impressed me beyond my expectations . Taj hotels always live upto their standards, Umaid Bhawan sets it a class apart. I would recommend everyone to experience the hotel atleast once in their lifetime.

We spent three unforgettable nights at this luxury hotel celebrating our wedding anniversary, and it was truly a fantastic experience. We've stayed at many palace hotels over the years, but this one was a class apart. The palace itself is an experience — lavish, grand, and impeccably maintained. The rooms are beautifully appointed, with stunning bathrooms, and ours (the Royal Suite) even had its own balcony. The food was outstanding, especially the local cuisine, though we also enjoyed the continental and South Indian menus. What we'll remember most, though, is the warm, genuinely caring service from everyone at the property, starting with the GM, Amit Singh. Special thanks to Nishu and Sikandar at the Front Office, Karan at Pillars, and Deepinder in Housekeeping — their hospitality made the stay truly special. We will most definitely be back :)

A royal experience of staying in an actual palace. Rare quality of hospitality led by Shri Sikander Singh around the palace and Shri Narender inside the restaurant. History, aesthetics influenced by diverse cultures converge at the Palace, truly memorable experience
