Four Seasons The Westcliff

The rooms were lovely and the staff were helpful when the first room smelled of fresh paint and we had to move. However, it is not acceptable to have a hotel of this class without a bar, lounge or any comfortable seating area. We ended up at a table in the restaurant - lacking in any ambience. I appreciate that works are going on but this place is not for me until it is done.

We stayed at Four seasons in between our trips to Botswana and Mozambique. it is very convenient. The rooms were really nice and big. The restaurant was very good, great choice of South African wines and very reasonable prices. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Flames restaurant. Staff were amazing!!! Concierge service was out of this world extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Johannesburg. Thank you to all the staff at this amazing facility

I was pretty disappointed with this hotel. Definitely not worth the money - my room (610) was bland, and a bit of a schlep from the reception area. Breakfast at Flames was a total shambles - I arrived around 7am, and the staff seemed totally unprepared, they were in the middle of a staff meeting, the place was a mess, they were still mopping, towels lying around on the floor, and the food was also really disappointing - juice was clearly not fresh, horribly sweetened coffee (normally coffee is served unsweetened surely?), and the pastry selection was poor quality. Not sure if it's always this bad but I'm unlikely to return.
