Great location/price/hotel
Great location. Great roof top views and drinks. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Would stay again. Price was extremely fair and food/restaurants and shopping are all extremely close and very walkable.

A must in Istanbul
One of the best boutique hotel I have been. Perfectly located in the heart of Budapest nicest neighbourhood. Attention to every single detail, good restaurant and bar on the rooftop and nice breakfast in the morning. Room detailed and clean, perfectly designed.

A charming boutique hotel perfectly located to explore the richness of this Karakoy nieghborhood.
We spent our last 2.5 days in Istanbul at this lovely small we ll run, clean, hotel. We were very impressed with the service, staff, restaurant, and all the suggestions provided. We had a wonderful room on the 4th floor of this 5 floor hotel. Breakfast was included as part of our stay.The food was very good, and there were a lot of choices. We also had one diner there as well as tried a local restaurant that was suggested. The best part of our stay was the location. It was easy to walk across the bridge, stop to chat with the fisherman in the morning and explore the old town, including the Spice Market. On another day, we were able to explore the Istanbul Modern Art Museum, Dolmabahce Palace, and on another day walk around the Galata Tower area. We felt very well taken care. They arranged for a taxi to the airport.

Fantastic
10 Karokay is a great place to stay , clean , friendly staff and lovely breakfast buffet with its friendly chef ! They are very helpful and resourceful. The place is close to public transport and easy taxi catch … highly recommended!

Not a standout hotel….
10 Karakoy gets a lot of 5 star reviews on this site - which is having me question the utility of TripAdvisor! This hotel is definitely NOT 5 star. 3 star would be much more accurate. The hotel is a converted hospital - with a similar ambiance. Dark and dank are the words that come to mind. The rooms are small and dank (sorry to use that word twice), and be careful if they put you on the street side. The tram will be passing outside your window 18 hours each day. They were kind enough to move friends of ours who found themselves in that situation. Many of the staff were indifferent - particularly the breakfast waitstaff. The breakfast, however, was excellent. The food in the 5th floor restaurant was also very good and the waitstaff there was excellent. Bottom line: Not a standout hotel.
