My husband and I enjoyed a truly dreamy and romantic stay at Angsana Corfu in early September. We stayed in Pool Villa 508, which I would highly recommend for its view, appointments and convenient location to the main resort facilities as well as the V Lounge. We loved the villa so much that we daydreamed about building a small home like it back in the US! It had plenty of room, including a comfortable king-sized bedroom, dramatic vaulted ceilings, two bathrooms and a kitchenette with complimentary initial beverages/snacks and dining area. We particularly loved the outdoor space around the pool, which also included dining table and lots of seating and loungers and nice lighting plan. It was a treat to sit there at every time of day. We enjoyed the beach on several occasions, which had perfect swimming and a gorgeous view and comfortable loungers, with plenty to go around and easy transportation down the hill on the hotel shuttle. We ate in both the Greek and Japanese restaurants, ordered room service several times and had breakfast in the a la carte restaurant reserved for villa guests each morning. The food was excellent, especially in the Greek restaurant, which was as good as any of the excellent food we ate during our entire travels in the Ionian Islands. I had an absolutely fantastic and relatively reasonably-priced massage in the spa, which was also beautiful. It was easy to get in five minutes by taxi to the local town, Benitses, which also had very good traditional Greek restaurants and a pretty old town and waterfront, from which we were able to take a private boat day trip to Paxos and Antipaxos (highly recommend this--we used Ninos Yachts and chartered directly). It is a 20-30 minute drive by taxi to Corfu Town, which we also thoroughly enjoyed visiting. We only wished we had more time for exploring the entire island as it is quite large, and we go at a leisurely pace. We are discerning guests and frequent 5-star properties in Europe, the Caribbean and North America. The service was extremely polite and responsive. The only issues we encountered were minor--we did have to be a bit demanding about getting help getting our luggage and us to our room late the night we checked in, when we were tired--there was only one attendant, and he was stretched thin and we had to point out he was prioritizing valet service for non-hotel guests. We occasionally encountered very minor cultural/comprehension issues (e.g. we drink a lot of coffee in the morning, and it was hard to get sufficient coffee even with repeatedly asking for two pots as soon as we were seated). This was more than made up for by the care and kind manner of all staff we encountered. We had read reviews prior to coming that made us a bit concerned, and I would assume either they were impossible guests or that the issues referenced were associated with visiting during the very peak time of year (although a property like this should be able to handle the volume). Only other suggestion we have is for the resort to stock a few food/snack and convenience items to sell to guests, such as refills of the yummy breadsticks they have in the rooms and sunscreen. For our part, we were completely satisfied and would recommend enthusiastically to anyone looking for a gorgeous, luxuriously comfortable escape to spectacular Corfu. We compared Angsana Corfu somewhat to our stay in a pool villa at the Viceroy Sugar Beach on St. Lucia a few years ago, which was also lovely, but both agreed that Angsana was even better.

It’s hard to find the right words, because the Angsana is simply outstanding. From the very beginning, we felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude, safety, and acceptance. As a same-sex couple, we have never felt more welcomed, accepted, and celebrated at any hotel than we did here. The staff are exceptionally trained, radiating warmth and professionalism, and they make you feel special from day one until the very end of your stay. Even the guests seemed different here — happy, relaxed, and friendly. We had great conversations without ever feeling our privacy was intruded upon. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, with staff quietly and constantly maintaining it to the highest standards. The facilities are truly state-of-the-art. The gym, for example, was so well equipped it surpassed many back home in Manchester — with everything you’d ever need for a great workout, plus Pilates classes and an indoor pool. We had booked the full-board package, and it was more than generous. The food and drinks were delicious, fresh, and of the highest quality. Restaurant staff struck the perfect balance: friendly and engaging when you wanted, but never intrusive. The infinity pool is stunning, and pool staff took excellent care of us. The shuttle to the private beach was seamless, and once again, service there — from towels to drinks — was flawless. Yes, it is a little pricey, but it never felt greedy. The reception team, in fact, felt generous — unlike similar resorts we’ve visited, they never tried to squeeze every penny, and staff never asked for tips (though you’ll want to give them thanks to the exceptional service). Even the younger staff, such as buggy and shuttle drivers, were polite, professional, and always greeted us with a smile or a wave. The service truly made us feel like royalty. We stayed in a one-bedroom villa, which was spacious, luxurious, and worth every penny. Friends in smaller rooms were equally impressed and satisfied. As part of a wedding group, we also attended a wedding brunch, which was handled beautifully — again, at the highest standards. We wholeheartedly recommend Angsana to our friends and family. It is, without a doubt, one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Thank you, Angsana, for an unforgettable vacation

2nd time staying and it just keeps getting better, visited with my daughter and granddaughter age 7. Fantastic from beginning to the end, full kids programme from 10 am till 8.15, full range activities 2 complimentary hours and a movie each day. Also a wellness programme, complimentary again. Taxis affiliated to hotel and a bus stop outside hotel too getting u into Corfu town for 2.50, Benites a beautiful village with traditional Greek restaurants and a great Mexican. Had lunch 3 of the days by the pool and was outstanding. Family time, 3 generations all sharing the wonderful experience and no doubt whatsoever we will return again.

I visited Angsana Corfu as a day guest to enjoy the spa and pool, and it was an outstanding experience. The spa facilities are modern, spotless, and incredibly relaxing, while the pool area offers breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. The staff made the experience even better with their kindness, professionalism, and attentive service. Even as a non-staying guest, I felt truly welcomed and cared for. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and peaceful escape in Corfu.
