Waterfall Resort

Everything was first class and the fishing was great. Our guide was very experienced, knowledgeable and fun to fish with. We caught a variety of fish in addition to the salmon we were there for. I love historical buildings and the resort fascinated me. I spent a couple of hours just walking through the buildings looking at how they were made. My room was very comfortable and simple in keeping with the historical atmosphere of the resort. The food was top of the line. It was hard to believe how many staff members they have on site. They were everywhere you looked, appeared very upbeat and were very helpful. I was there with my adult son, and I am sure we will be returning.

Fishing was a great experience but the resort offers so much more. Great wildlife is just a short hike away. Personal are knowledgeable and responsive to your expectations. We saw seals, sea lions, whales, eagles and bears. Plus of course lots of fish. Beautiful historic facility

Great guides, great food, great lodging. Hiking to the waterfall we saw a couple of groups of bear feeding on salmon going up stream.

This was. Bucket List type of adventure. This is a first class experience. I was fishing for three full days (2 half days and 2 full days). You don’t need to be an experienced fisherman. Everything you need is provided. The food was great, the staff were very attentive and the fishing was incredible. This is one of the largest fishing lodges in all of Alaska. Everything is provided and taken care of for you. This is a high end resort. Everything is taken care of. You never have to touch the fish.

Waterfall is a fantastic Alaska fishing experience. Great fishing with very knowledgeable guides. Accommodations are very comfortable, food is great, Views and scenery everywhere from the property, from the boats, on float planes to and from Ketchikan. History of the place is really neat as well.
