Havana Cabana At Key West

We were in the area for a family wedding. The hotel was perfect for us- rooms were very comfortable. Loved the Cuban theme. We had our own little patio with easy access to the pool and outdoor areas. Convenient location, short walk to Publix and other shops. Shout out to Tosha who makes the best Cuban Manhattans.

Hotel was just okay. Staff is friendly but pool area is lacking. I’ve stayed at other resorts on the island that were better for the price. Pool was dirty and a lot of kids since there was a kids birthday party going on. they rent out the pool to non hotel guests. I will not stay here again.

Somewhat disappointed with the hotel. The room was fine but the pool area needs to be better. I wanted to take a water into the pool area and I was told that absolutely nothing can go into the pool area from the outside. I understand alcohol but not even a sparkling water?? And then they rent out the pool area and there were many kids. Not relaxing at all. Honestly I would not stay here again. They do have a shuttle every hour which is convenient. It’s more for families than couple get away.

The ambiance at Havana Cabana is unmatched in the area. The staff are very friendly, courteous and ready to help at all hours. I appreciated the whimsy and fun incorporated into their daily operations, as well as the dog treats bar. The rooms were spacious and clean and the food delicious.

Booking was smooth and simple, and the arrival experience was welcoming and efficient. The front desk staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to help — they set the tone for a great visit. The beds and pillows were absolutely top-notch — incredibly comfortable and made for the best night’s sleep we’ve had in a long time. The room was spotless, fresh, and beautifully styled with that signature tropical Havana flair. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged. The property is immaculate and beautifully kept, with a fun, laid-back Key West atmosphere. The pool area was lively and clean, with great music and energy throughout the weekend. We enjoyed both the Floridita Food Truck and Mojitos Pool Bar — delicious food, great drinks, and attentive service. Everything came out fresh and flavorful, and the team behind the bar and kitchen was fantastic. Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful, and upbeat. From the front desk to the bartenders, each team member went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Havana Cabana delivers on every level — clean, comfortable, fun, and welcoming. We wouldn’t change a thing and can’t wait to come back. Please pass along our appreciation to your incredible team.
