Havana Cabana At Key West

I stayed at Havana Cabana at Key West for my wife’s birthday trip. Overall, the hotel was nice the front desk staff was helpful and welcoming, and the amenities were good, including a beautiful, large pool and pool side bar with amazing bartender. However, our room had a ceiling that was actively leaking water onto the bed overnight, making it partially unusable. The bathroom was also not clean upon arrival, which was unexpected for a 4-star hotel. The hotel waived the $60 property fee as an apology but declined a refund, and Expedia offered $50 OneKeyCash, which did not fully address the severity of the issue. While the hotel has nice features and helpful staff, the leaking ceiling significantly affected our stay. This was disappointing for a 4-star property. Excellent stay at Havana Cabana! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, which set the tone for a wonderful visit. The pool area is absolutely beautiful—relaxing, well maintained, and a true highlight of the property. The bartenders were fantastic and went out of their way to help us choose the perfect happy hour selections. One of our favorite perks was the free shuttle into downtown Key West, which made getting around easy and stress-free. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Havana Cabana to anyone visiting Key West.

My husband and I stayed here because it was an option for a wedding we were attending in Key West. We both absolutely love the hotel, the decor is adorable, the staff is phenomenal, everyone was super attentive, and it had everything we needed and wanted. Upon Check, and they offered us two complementary drink tickets, they shared the schedule of all the activities during the day, they have a shuttle that runs every hour to downtown Key West. I usually feel that hotels that are decorated really cute and on theme are not always the cleanest or most comfortable, this hotel was so clean, so comfortable, I will 100% be staying there next time I visit Key West.

Had a great time at Havana Cabana. Nice, clean room. Great pool to hang out by. Food truck with Cuban food; loved the breakfast there. Friendly staff at front desk, food truck, and bar. The shuttle into town was super convenient; ran every hour til 10:30pm or so. It was a great place to come back to after a day out and about. Not cheap, but no hotels/airbnbs in the area are. Would definitely come back!

We stayed at Havana Cabana for three nights and enjoyed our stay. The rooms are nice and the beds were comfortable. The pool area was fun and clean. There were lots of pool toys and floats, a hot tub and plenty of lounge chairs. The music was a little loud at times making it hard to relax. And our room was quite close to the front door and the loud music there at night. We took advantage of having a bar on site and the nice touches of churros and smoothies daily were appreciated. Having a shuttle bus was key. The downtown area and airport were about 10 min away by car and we did not have transportation. They kept to their bus schedule and we used it often during our stay.
