If you are a senior, beware that the shower is difficult safely enter, especially if you aren’t real flexible. The tub is about 20” high and about 10” wide. Immovable glass wall along over half the tub. No handles or anything to hang on to. Most difficult shower to enter I’ve ever encountered. Was especially difficult for my wife who had knee replacement nearly 4 months ago. In my opinion there are better value properties very close by.

Great location, Hotel is clean, The coffee creamer in the room is pretty much poison to humans. The amount of taxes and extra charges which are are shown when making a reservation are incredible, better add about $250 a night to the budget

Hotel was exceptional. Great location and exceptional amenities, the early check-in and late check out made my trip very enjoyable

Prepare to pay fees on your fees for a musty, damp, no-view room in a motel from 1960 that apparently has been updated to the bare minimum to achieve Hyatt branding status. Enjoy the saddest turtles in the world, basking in absolutely no sunlight, no plants, and certainly not enough space for all of them to get of the ice-cold water I had the pleasure to watch them struggle with during the cold snap in January, 2026. Maybe stop and get a bite of breakfast (only $30 for the tiniest croissant you've ever seen in your life -- two bites! -- and an double espresso that still doesn't even fill the cup), and take a stroll by the parrot that sits alone (all day!) in its cage so the four 80-year-old guests can stop for thirty or so seconds and say, "Oh, that's nice" and then walk away. And certainly don't get annoyed that you're being charged for daily parking at the EXACT same rate as anyone who drives in off the street. (Why charge guests for parking you ask? Why not, says Hyatt!) Just don't expect working air conditioning (keep getting up to open and close that patio door so the 'sustainability' initiatives they tout on EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF PROMOTIONAL LITERATURE can't be labelled as lip service. Nope, they're completely committed to sustainability if it means charging you more fees for resuable aluminum water bottles (just remember not to ask about animal welfare, because that's an uncomfortable subject that no one likes to talk about, unless you're into zoos from the early 1900s). But never fear, there is a silver lining. You eventually get to leave! Also, the view of the ocean was nice. From the breakfast restaurant. Not the rooms so much, but the coffee shop, bar and restaurant certainly had wonderful views.

We have been visiting here for many years now. We are treated and welcomed warmly and professionally. The staff are exemplary. Our accommodation is always to our liking. Everywhere is clean and the housekeeping staff are so very polite. We will continue to visit. We call this hotel and Key West 'our happy place'
