Exceptional hotel. I stay here every year at an annual conference. The place is immaculate, the staff is friendly and efficient, and the housekeeping is the best I have ever seen from a hotel.

DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING OR EVENT HERE!! Bride of our wedding here May 8,2026. I have taken time to calm down and process all of the money and time we spent on having our wedding here for it to be wasted and turn out terribly. We are extremely disappointed with the entire process leading up to the event and the day of the event itself. The company as a whole is extremely unorganized. We worked with Kelsey, then Diane, then Jenn through this process of planning the wedding. Jenn was the worst one to work with. She added on a bunch of fees and charges that Kelsey originally did not have on the original documents so I had to then go through and tell her everything single charge that needed to be taken off. The day of, Jenn literally did NOTHING. Showed up on hour before the wedding started, the chairs and ceremony was not set up until 30 minutes before the event with guests being there already. Both of my event planners informed me that she showed up late, folded silverware, took pictures of everything once set up, and left. The wrong chairs were used for the reception dining area. The bar was set up outside but there is no lighting outside so all throughout the night the bartending staff kept turning the lights on inside disrupting the reception. The food tasted good, but the servers only served HALF of the guests. We chose a hors d’oeuvres to be walked around and served to all of the guests and the servers only went to the left side of the reception, and everybody that was sitting at tables on the right side only got served one item, one time. I personally, THE BRIDE, went up to the servers after MULTIPLE complaints from guests and told them to go serve the other side of the room that have not ate anything instead of serving the same guests 4-5 times. Kelsey, Diane, and Jenn informed me that renting the office room the day of for all the girls to get hair and makeup done was allowed outside food and drinks. Yet the day of, we got bagels dropped off and the front desk lady came in and yelled at us that we were only allowed to order food and drinks from there restaurant/bar. Which doesn’t make sense considering we were all in the room by 7:00am and the food on property didn’t even open until 11:00am. On top of that, the bartender working at the pool bar was literally talking crap about us saying how annoying we are for ordering groups of shots and drinks at a time and that “I don’t care if it’s there wedding they’re not sitting at my bar so they can wait” and “watch them not even tip me after serving them all day” to OUR GUESTS that were staying at the hotel and utilizing the pool and bar that he clearly did not know that were apart of our party. One of our guests mentioned that they were family of the bride that he was talking about so he then proceeded to apologize and brought up 3 rounds of shots to the bridal room for free as an apology to us. Just goes back to every single person not being on the same page and not organized whatsoever. The staff made us all extremely uncomfortable with how extremely unfriendly they were. Jenn personally made me feel uncomfortable, the lady in charge, because she constantly had an attitude and made me feel like an inconvenience for asking questions. And I even had an interaction in tears with her because after I and my wedding planner emailed her multiple times 60 days before the wedding, Jenn waited until 3 days before the event to then reach out to collect an additional $8,000.00 security deposit that we were NEVER informed about. Which we needed up getting voided after hours of arguing back and fourth with her proving to her that we were indeed never informed about it. We also paid to have champagne passed out after the ceremony to each guest which was never done. To top is all off, the reception area AC was not turned on if there even was any and it felt like 100 degrees in there as if we were all standing in the bald sun. The amount of money they charge for food, alcohol, venue space, and minimum room block, we should’ve been treated SO MUCH better and they definitely should have had there act together. All of there photos online too make it look so much better than the venue space itself. They claimed 70 people can fit in the reception area yet we had 65, there wasn’t a chair for everyone and it was way over crowded. It was truly overall the worst company I have ever done business with and I would NEVER recommend ANYONE to partake in any services or events with this company. There is SO many other places to book in KeyWest and I promise you, go the other route!

We stayed the long weekend of June 19-22 and enjoyed the hotel, pool, close proximity to many restaurants, sites and shopping. Only thing I would change would be to request an ocean view or partial ocean view NOT on the Simonton Beach side of the property (bldg 3). The rooms and balconies on that side of the property face the public beach which can get noisy at times. Early morning garbage truck pick ups, etc… request bldg 1 or 2 if possible, avoid partial ocean view bldg 3.

The location is perfect as it is steps away from Duvall, but for the price, you get very little. The pool is ridiculously tiny and the rooms are in need of updating. Plus, there was a bug stuck to our floor that no matter how much scrubbing my husband did, it would not come up. I understand sustainability, but I dont like the idea of using the same water filling machine to keep filling an aluminum water bottle. It just seems unsanitary to me and inconvenient. The staff was nice and friendly.
