Ocean Key Resort & Spa

We did extensive research before choosing this hotel, and this turned out to be a top favorite from 30 years of traveling as a couple. From the balcony sunsets to the food and staff, we were delighted at every turn. In the private survey to management, we specifically named the staff who made the experience so incredibly special, but here are some highlights in general: From the moment we checked in, we were treated like royalty. It was a super fast process on both ends of our stay. The pool was a favorite hangout. Yes it was hot/humid all week, but it's the vibe and staff that brought us back every day. Every single staff person last week smiled and many stopped to engage us. The room was well designed, beautifully furnished, and we had a front row seat to the incredible sunsets every evening. The room was soundproof, we slept peacefully. The king-sized bed was super comfortable, which we found to be rare. You can walk to literally everything worth seeing in the area. Mallory Square is next door, too. Overall, it was definitely worth it, and we are trying to encourage our niece to get married on Key West so we can return sooner. Either way, we will definitely return. 😊

Absolutely lovely experience staying at Ocean Key. The location is convenient to everything and yet still tucked away from the more touristy areas. The lobby bar has creative and delicious cocktails, Hot Tin Roof was amazing and the rooms are spacious. All of the staff were friendly and went out of their way when asked for assistance.

The location is perfect, as it is positioned right along the water and near Mallory Square. That is known as the prime spot to see the iconic sunset, but I didn't even have to go to the square, as my balcony overlooked it. I had perfect views of the sunset from there. The room was perfect and had everything I needed, including a yoga mat. The colors and style perfectly represent Key West and it is such a luxe, fun vibe. I also had breakfast and dinner at Hot Tin Roof and can't say enough great things about that as well.

Thank you to everyone who made this visit so incredibly special. My mother passed away earlier this year, and navigating life without her hasn’t been easy. This trip was especially meaningful because I was celebrating two huge milestones, my 40th birthday & my 10-year wedding anniversary. Not being able to share these moments with my mom has been devastating, and I knew these celebrations would come with a lot of emotions. My husband put so much time and thought into planning multiple surprises for me throughout our trip, he worked closely with Elizabeth to make everything perfect. And wow—what an incredible concierge she is! Every detail was thoughtful and unforgettable. From the car service waiting for us at the airport, to the beautiful flower arrangement in our room, to helping plan amazing excursions, and the delicious bottles of bubbles that seemed to appear at just the right moments! Elizabeth helped my husband create memories I will truly cherish forever. This trip gave me the opportunity to celebrate some of the happiest milestones in my life while carrying the grief of missing someone who should have been there for them. That made every thoughtful gesture mean so much more. Thank you to Craig, Elizabeth, and everyone who played a part in making this trip so special. You helped turn what could have been an incredibly emotional milestone into a beautiful, unforgettable experience. I will always be grateful for the memories we made here.
