Ocean Key Resort & Spa

This hotel is overpriced for its quality and service. In fairness, we were there during significant construction. Access was difficult. Several elevators were out of service and cleaning staff often occupied the ones that were in service. There is no common space of any kind, which is unusual at this price point. Room decor is tired.

Let me start by saying that the people/workers were awesome. Super friendly and helpful. That being said, it is a really nice facility that is in need of updates. Also the construction outside was disturbing to the other people in my family staying there.

This gem at the end of Duval continues to shine. A ship steered perfectly with beloved Craig at the helm, who is just where he needs to be providing the sincerest warm welcome and kindness that blend in perfectly with the surroundings. Alex, another faithful, deserves a shout-out for his starring role and is a Key player in eloquence and grace. The hotel speaks for itself, providing glorious views, delicious savory fare, and live music that keeps on giving. Everything is literally at your doorstep here. Embrace every activity or kick back with a frozen cocktail, this is the ultimate spot in the Keys.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Ocean Key. Our room on the 4th floor was a delightful surprise. The balcony gave us a beautiful view of the sunset on the pier. The room was spacious and very comfortable. I was also impressed by the friendliness of the staff. Most definitely recommend.

This was our second time visiting Ocean Key and despite the lobby renovation, we had another amazing time. The staff is incredible and made our stay perfect. Can't wait to go back again.
