Oceans Edge Resort & Marina Key West

We don’t impress easily, but this property truly impressed us. We loved it! It feels like a hidden gem, and we are already looking forward to returning. Hilton took over the property July 1. They are currently undergoing a few renovations in a couple of the buildings but it did not impact our stay whatsoever. The resort is located on Stock Island, just before Key West. The surrounding area is more industrial, but once you enter the gated property, it feels like a completely different world. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with six lovely pools and a marina, creating a relaxing resort atmosphere. The complimentary shuttle into downtown Key West is a huge plus. It runs hourly, and the trip takes approximately 15–20 minutes, making it very easy to enjoy Key West without worrying about driving or parking. There are also activities included with the resort fee, along with additional activities available for a charge. The restaurant on the property was another pleasant surprise, with great service and consistently solid food. What really made our stay exceptional, though, was the staff. They are outstanding—incredibly friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful. A special thank you to Patrick at the front for baggage assistance, Fausto our shuttle driver, Fitter at check-in, and Claudia in management. Each of them went out of their way to make us feel so welcomed and at home. Their warmth and hospitality made a wonderful property even better. This is a beautiful, relaxing resort with excellent amenities, convenient transportation into Key West, and, most importantly, a staff that truly understands hospitality. We will definitely be returning!

This resort, which was just recently taken over by Hilton was amazingly perfect! The rooms were awesome. The pools were awesome. The staff was awesome. Everything about it was perfect. Five star review all the way. Some of the Hilton employees that went above and beyond. Alex, who is a server in the restaurant for dinner we had him both nights. Colette, who was the pool server and took amazing care of us. The front desk was super friendly. The individual that worked The coffee shop made us a coffee that wasn’t on the menu. I don’t remember her name but the dates were August 23 through August 25.

This resort recently transitioned to the Hilton brand (formerly Ocean's Edge Key West) about a month and a half ago. The grounds and pools are beautiful and impeccably well-kept. What truly sets this property apart is the staff. Jennie and Agosto at the front desk in particular deliver phenomenal, world-class service. Additionally, the Diamond welcome amenity was outstanding, easily among the top three I have ever received at any Hilton property. The only downside to the stay was the room temperature. I had to change rooms multiple times because they were too warm. Even when the AC was set to the coldest setting, the room never cooled down to a comfortable level and I barely got any sleep. I was informed me that the resort's HVAC system is being upgraded building by building, and Building 2 will soon be back in service with brand-new ac units. Again, given that my sleep quality greatly suffered, I would normally rate this stay a 3; however, the exceptional service from the team absolutely warrants an upgraded score of 4/5.

Our stay at the Hilton Resort and Marina in Key West was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how quiet, clean, and relaxing the property was. It was the perfect place to unwind while still being close enough to enjoy everything Key West has to offer. The amenities really made the experience special. We loved having access to bike rentals, kayak rentals, and tours, which made it incredibly easy to get out and explore. There was always something to do, but the resort itself still had a peaceful atmosphere when we wanted to relax. We were also pleasantly surprised by Yellowfin Bar & Grill. It did NOT have the typical hotel-restaurant feel. It felt much more upscale, with excellent service, delicious food, and a great atmosphere. It was honestly one of the highlights of our dining experiences during the trip. Because of the hotel's location, the shuttle service to the Historic Seaport was incredibly convenient, with pickups and drop-offs running every hour. But the shuttle service became more than just transportation because of one particular person: Mr. Evens, one of the shuttle drivers. Mr. Evens was genuinely one of the biggest highlights of our entire stay. He had the most positive attitude and welcoming personality, and every time we rode with him, he gave us new recommendations for places to eat, visit, and things to experience around Key West. We actually followed several of his recommendations—and they were absolutely worth it! He was truly a breath of fresh air. His energy and kindness made such an impression on us that we actually looked forward to taking the shuttle every day just because we knew we'd have another great interaction with him. People like Mr. Evens are what turn a good hotel stay into a truly memorable experience. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Between the peaceful and clean property, amazing amenities, excellent food at Yellowfin, convenient shuttle service, and especially the wonderful people who make the resort special, we would absolutely stay here again. If you're visiting Key West and want a resort that offers relaxation, convenience, great amenities, and exceptional service, we highly recommend the Hilton Resort and Marina! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Take no accountability. Renovations made most accommodations unavailable, and nobody informed any of the guests of renovations prior to booking or checking in. Elevators don't work, pools dirty, pools closed, construction noise, construction dirt, crowded pools,... you name it. 0 hospitality. Hilton made this property go downhill bad. Would've loved to give them another chance if accountability was taken, but will have to find another go-to in Key West. Never booking with Hilton in the future.
