Oceans Edge Resort & Marina Key West

Fantastic stay in Key West. Husband loved being right by the air base and seeing the military planes overhead as we arrived was a highlight. Spacious room. Was overlooking the pool so was concerned about noise but this wasn’t an issue. Pool area was really nice too and we enjoyed a couple of dips to cool off. Would definitely stay again.

This was an excellent choice for our vacation. The check-in staff were friendly, helpful and ensured we had a room that met our requirements. They do need to update their website on obstructed view definition. We had reserved a no-obstruction room, our initial room had a tree blocking our view from the ocean. When contacted, they explained obstructed was usually a first-floor room. They were very gracious, moved us to a new room and let us approve of the new room. I highly recommend Building 4. The bus back and forth to town was fantastic. Our favorite driver was Bob. Very informative, great recommendations. The kayak tour by the hotel was excellent as well. Nothing bad to say about this place.

After a cruise we had planned was canceled, we looked for a resort and found Ocean's Edge. We enjoyed the included kayaking with a guide, biking, and the many pools. I also enjoyed watching the fighter jets flying in and out of Key West. One of our favorite parts were our breakfasts in the dining room with our server, José. He quickly learned what we liked and made sure we were well taken care of. We also got good local restaurant and activity recommendations via the concierge. We thought we were settling for less compared to our cruise, but discovered we were not settling at all.

I took my boys to stay for a few nights here and we had the best time! I found the resort to be very clean, safe and we enjoyed all the meals we had at their onsite restaurant. Richard was our concierge and he helped book a private fishing trip for us as well as a couple of other local excursions! He was super helpful and we enjoyed each of the activities. They cooked our catch for dinner, offered room service and kids activities like bike rentals and kayaking. My only request is that they keep the coffee shop open longer. (They closed before 9AM one day!) Front desk staff and dining host were very kind and friendly too!

Short stay as part of a road trip so 2 nights. Hotel is lovely, amenities were great. Hubby and son took advantage of the Kayak tour, we all used the shuttle into Downtown Key West, pools were lovely, small but given it is out of season here we have them to ourselves! Lots of wildlife to spot around, view was great. Staff are friendly and helpful. Found the restaurant to be a bit pricey and the parking fee was high given the taxes are high also. Don’t agree with charging to park the car but not much we can do. Overall I would recommend this hotel for families, our room was big enough for the 4 of us plus 4 cases. Pretty view of the marina.
