This was our first trip to Oceans Edge. The service was beyond outstanding and the food was amazing. We enjoyed everything from food by the pool to main courses at the restaurant. Would definitely go back.

This past year has tested me in ways I never expected. Between heart surgery, a broken leg with ATFL repair, and more medical appointments than I care to remember, life felt like one long uphill climb. We canceled trip after trip because my body simply wasn’t ready. Honestly, somewhere along the way, I forgot what it felt like to breathe deeply… to feel calm… to just be. And then—finally—we made it to Key West. And everything changed. From the moment we arrived at the resort, I could feel something inside me shift. The warmth of the sun, the salt in the air, the colors, the kindness of the staff… it was like the universe gently whispering, “You’re allowed to exhale now.” I didn’t realize how desperately I needed this place until I stood there, soaking in the beauty I had been aching for all year. This resort was more than a destination—it was a reset button for my soul. The peaceful mornings, the incredible views, the moments of laughter, the slow walks, the time to actually feel alive again… it was healing in a way I didn’t even know I needed. Every corner of this property felt thoughtful, inviting, and restorative. It wasn’t just beautiful—it was exactly what my heart and spirit had been craving. After a year of feeling like my world was turned upside down, Key West gave me a chance to feel whole again. I left with a lighter heart, a clearer mind, and a renewed appreciation for life’s simple joys. To the resort and its incredible staff: thank you. You gave me back a piece of myself. To anyone wondering if this is the right place for their next trip: go. Don’t hesitate. Sometimes you don’t realize how much you need a place… until it becomes the one that heals you.

I rarely leave one-star reviews, but this experience demands a warning. The fundamental safety of the guests is compromised here. Safety & Security Failure (Unacceptable) --- My room door was left completely open/ajar by housekeeping for the entire day. Returning late at night to find my door like this was horrifying. This is not just a risk for theft, but an enormous safety failure, especially for a solo female traveler. Incompetent Management --- The managers on duty were utterly clueless and demonstrated a severe lack of basic problem-solving skills when I reported this critical issue. Facility & Service Problems --- Poor TV Service: The rooms are missing basic network channels like Fox, meaning you can only watch sports on ESPN. The only place to watch Fox is the hotel bar, which closes at 10:00 PM, preventing you from finishing watching later games. Noise Issues --- Be prepared to hear everything. The soundproofing is terrible; you can clearly hear neighbors above you stomping around. Accessibility Issue --- There is no ramp to the reception desk for check-in. You have to carry your luggage up the stairs yourself. The Only Positive --- The single saving grace this place has is the bartender, Jen. She was genuinely the kindest, most helpful, and most knowledgeable person on staff. The hotel would be wise to promote her, as she is the only good reflection of their business.
