Disappointing Condo Maintenance/Upkeep
Unit E-204 has gone downhill over the years. We found lots of maintenance issues in our recent stay. Bad hot water pressure in the master shower. Lighting not working over the cooktop and in the closet. Mold in sinks, shower and washing machine. Front door doesn't self-close. One door to balcony doesn't lock. Furniture is old, outdated, uncomfortable and stained. The resort is wonderful, but it feels like the owner of this unit is not spending the necessary time & money to keep the place up to par.

A tropical gem
Makena Surf is a wonderful location. This is our third time staying here. The units vary in terms of size and condition, but the last two we stayed in were impeccable (most recently, E-206. It's one of the more expensive units but worth it--it's beautiful and well maintained). The gorgeous, semi-private beach is a few hundred feet away, and the pool and hot tub are delightful. The tropical grounds around the condos are enchanting.

Wailea beauty retreat with Privacy and good times to match!
This location is the ultimate in privacy and beauty. The property very comfortably slept six and had a view that was incredible -- awesome get away. Check in was great and everything is done with codes -- no keys every needed! The property had washer, dryer and BBQ so you can pack light for the trip, cook your own meals when you want, but also go out for great dinners when desired. It was like the best living room with the best view in the world -- literally everything you think about Hawaii!!!!
