Ballyfin Demesne

Ballyfin is possibly the most beautiful place my husband and I have ever stayed. Our room was well - appointed with breathtaking views of the grounds and unique waterfall. Each meal was delicious and beautifully presented on china that presented like artwork. The staff made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. We particularly enjoyed the signature picnic, thoughtfully presented in a small retreat with a roaring fire overlooking the grounds. It was a special experience we will remember always. We highly recommend staying at Ballyfin and will most certainly return to this special place.

Poor restaurant service with limited choice of menu. Hotel was overpriced compared to others in this category For example, Gleneagles in Scotland is far superior .

Beyond compare! Supreme experience. Truly outstanding at every level. from the entrance, the grand welcome of six staff members on the steps, the immense attention to detail. Unfussy, relaxed, chilled, and the guest experience at the epicentre of what Ballyfin strives to achieve. Unrivalled anywhere I have ever been, and that include the other GRANDS houses/hotels across Ireland and UK. As for the food, Richard the head chef, has attained for Ballyfin a Michelin start in 2025 and 2026. Incredible experience. Everyone should strive to get at least one night there ... even if it means saving for a little while. it is heaven on earth.
