The Killarney Park

A perfect stay. The room had everything any guest could desire; comfortable bedding, cleanliness, spacious en suite, and beautifully furnished. The hotel and grounds have been loving cared for and maintained, the dining was without fault, and the location cannot be surpassed. As our base we were able to complete the Ring of Kerry, Slea Head, Old Head and Tralee. However what truly places Killarney Park at perfection is the staff. Concierges Sean, Collin, and Decklan were so very helpful and welcoming. Kevin and Khadijah from The Peregrine were exceptionally attentive, Maria at the front desk was professional, warm and knowledgeable. Of special mention is Norma at the front desk; every time we saw her, it was an absolute delight! Such a warm smile and an engaging presence that made us feel at home. Killarney Park is fully deserving of all accolades awarded. For hospitality at its finest there is no need to look further.

This is a truly beautiful hotel with exemplary service . We visited a number of times for evening drinks whilst in Kilarney. The beautiful lobby and bar area is fantastic with cozy wood fires to curl up in front of whilst sipping a delicious cocktail or a coffee & cake ! Staff fantastic, highly recommended for a relaxing evening in Kilarney.

Customer satisfaction may be measured as Delivery divided by Expectations. In this case, the quiet competence of the staff ensured a result well above one. Clare Murphy, the Guest Experience Manager, not only elevated our expectations but then cleared — with effortless grace — the very high bar she had set for herself. As a result, our overall rating is not just above one; it is meaningfully and memorably so. Ireland’s high-end hospitality world is small, visible, and mobile. We can only hope that Clare will be there to greet us again when, in shā’ Allāh, we return next year.

We’ve stayed at KPH before, so we were anticipating the exemplary service you would expect from a five-star hotel. They even surpassed those expectations: when my wife made a hole in one at nearby Ballybunion, we arrived to check in at KPH and the staff greeted us with congratulations, which was surprising in itself. But when we got to our room, they had set up a framed congratulations message with the photo of her and our caddy on the 8th green. Attention to detail and care for guests like that is rare to find, and it carries through all they do at KPH. We wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else when in that region of Ireland, whether for a golf trip or a Ring of Kerry trek. Amazing people, and an awesome place.
