The Killarney Park

The Killarney Park Hotel holds a very special place in our hearts. My daughter and I went on a trip to Ireland together to celebrate my birthday. It was also our first trip to Ireland and Europe together so we wanted to make the experience extra special. The concierge Padraig Casey who goes by PC helped us create the perfect stay in Killarney as well as all of Ireland. We didn’t feel comfortable driving in Ireland so PC paired us up with the most wonderful driver Ollie. Ollie was a true gift to us . He was not only a driver but a wonderful guide throughout our road trips from Dublin to the Rock of Cashel , Killarney, the Ring of Kerry, the Dingle Peninsula, the Cliffs of Moher, and Galway. We can’t say enough about our wonderful experience with Ollie and everyone at the Killarney Park. It feels like coming home where everyone is welcomed with open arms. Declan and Colin were also extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. Evelyn one of our servers at breakfast was a joy. The setting couldn’t be better. It’s a gorgeous luxury hotel with all of the amenities right in the center of Killarney and next to the Killarney National Park. There is so much to explore in this wonderful area. Our favorite sites were the Muckross House, gardens and Abbey, the Muckross waterfall and touring a wonderful sheep farm that PC set up for us. After a day of exploring there is a heavenly spa area with a pool, indoor and outdoor hot tub and dry and wet sauna. It was the perfect place to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. We loved the scrumptious breakfast at the Peregrine in the hotel. Favorites were the chive scramble over a potato pancake with smoked salmon and the French toast with bananas and candied walnuts. We also loved the different cozy rooms we could unwind with a book after dinner. The hotel has a lovely library to browse through. We found ourselves ordering dessert and tea to end rhe day on a sweet note. Thanks so much everyone at the Killarney Park Hotel for a fabulous stay. We felt right at home.

We drove the scenic drive from Dublin to Kenmare to Killarney and stayed at the Killarney Park. It is a beautiful hotel! The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The bar area was fantastic and the breakfast was lovely. As has been our experience throughout the trip- the staff is what makes it exceptional! So friendly and helpful- everyone we encountered throughout our stay.

Dear Declan, You & your staff welcomed our group with humor, hospitality, and highlights unmatched by 99% of the hotels we’ve stayed in worldwide. We didn’t know if the splurge of staying at the grand Killarney Park hotel would live up to the hype, but you exceeded expectations completely. We would have hit the pub with Declan if he wasn’t working - such a friendly bloke! The rooms were beautifully appointed & pristine, all staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful & delicious, not to mention the delightful cocktails & mocktails we enjoyed at the Peregrine. The beds were heavenly, the shower felt like a spa. This establishment is worth every penny. Do yourself favor, stay here and be 100% pampered in every regard. Love, An American who isn’t used to the this level of service.

A true first class hotel, the values its guests. Everything at this hotel, big and small, and every interaction with the staff, reflects great care, pride and attention. They make you feel valued and cared for from the moment you walk in to when you check out. The manager took the time to give us a detailed "tour" of the all of the rooms features and tech. The room was modern and classic at the same time, and truly luxurious. The breakfast (which starts with a tower of pastries, treats, and juices) was both delicious and beautiful. The piano bar was amazing. And even the pool and fitness room was a cut above. And the location could not be better. I very highly recommend this hotel, and would love to come back.
