What a beautiful hotel in an amazing position. If I’m ever back in Ireland, I’ll be sure to stay again. My only regret is not booking for longer. The staff are fabulous, in particular the concierge team who provide really helpful advice for activities and the best way to see nearby sites. Everything is so organised!

Had a wonderful one night stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Dined in Colgan's bar and the food was excellent, followed by wonderful live entertainment in the bar. We will be back. I would highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I had an exceptional stay at The Muckross Park Hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel welcome and special. Our suite was amazing and we were delighted with the complimentary treats, the space, comfort and the extra touches like the turn down service. We ate dinner in The Yew Tree Restaurant and I highly recommend it. Our waiter, Lucien, was attentive and friendly and the food was incredible. I used the thermal facilities while we were there and I was delighted with the choice of facilities available. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay and it was everything I had hoped for to mark a special occasion together.

We stayed in July 25 and we had a lovely experience. I had the best nights sleep. The food in the bar restaurant and the breakfast was lovely. I must say the staff were so friendly and helpful. We did not try the spa but i will when we stay again soon.

I suggest caution when booking a 5 Star stay at Muckross Park Hotel and Spa. It is not a manor hotel in a park but instead a well renovated, over-extended, yet comfortable roadside hotel with an adjacent complex of self catering chalets opposite a national park. A popular wedding venue, be sure to check that the majority of the rooms are not reserved for such an event as it makes for soulless public rooms, overly busy spa, a noisy wake-up call when the party makes its way to bed, and an early start the next morning to avoid the breakfast chaos. The one saving grace of this hotel is the restaurant; its team of highly skilled chefs presented amazing dishes and their highly professional and attentive staff made it a meal to remember. In summary, it’s a perfectly fine hotel but more 3 than 5 star.

My wife and I just returned from a 4-night stay at Muckross Park Hotel & Cloister Spa. This 5-star hotel lived up to its rating in every regard. The suite we stayed in was just beautiful and with the extra sitting area above the entrance, my wife commented that she felt like a princess. The Cloister Spa was exceptional and we enjoyed the service there on several days. All of the international staff - from the doormen, front desk to wait staff - were pleasant and helpful to any issue. We ate dinner at Blue Pool and Molly Darcys pub - 2 of 3 on-site resturants. The staff at the was especially helpful with the wine selection as we celebrated our anniversary one evening. The food was absolutely delicious at both places. The hotel is right across the street from walking paths, jaunting carts, and the Muckross House in Killarney National Park. All in all, we absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay there again in a heartbeat.
