Words cannot describe the incredible experience we had on our wedding day at Muckross Park Hotel. From seeing it in January to booking the venue, to the wedding day in September, it was flawless. Niall is the best of the best in everything wedding planning, he answered all my questions on email I had about the venue, arrangements, timings and he even gave us the local knowledge on where is best to go and look at getting wedding photos. Niall really is one of the greatest wedding organisers who just excels at his job in every way. Nothing was a bother and he remained calm, professional, focused with great humour and was the perfect man for the job. The bridesmaids and myself had an amazing breakfast sent up while we got ready and the suite we were in was truly stunning, it even had a little balcony for the Child of Prague to do his job! Which he did excellently! ;) The wedding team at Muckross do everything! We decided on The Atrium for our reception and then the Abbey Suite which was perfect for our 130 guests. It was set up perfectly with fresh flowers, candles and they even allowed us to add our own little details to make it more personal for our guests and it was exactly how I imagined it would look. They had the red carpet rolled out for our arrival and Prosecco for our guests before dinner. They even allowed my dog to be downstairs in the atrium to mingle and be part of the day! The food is like none other. Our guests were blown away by the food and as my husband's family are all American they could not get over how good the Guinness tasted! (Of course!) The two Chris’ who ran the wedding itself were incredible start to finish and I know it is a long difficult job! They were professional, attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Joanne - who ran our food was so sweet, caring and fun - doing the simplest of jobs of putting a napkin over my dress as I forgot in all the excitement. What a woman! And Dan at Collgan's the night before made sure guests were looked after and he had great humour throughout. The hotel itself is impeccable and ran by wonderful people who keep a great atmosphere. The hotel rooms are well equipped, super clean and the honeymoon suite is beautiful. The staff went out of their way to make us feel special and I will never take that for granted. Muckross has the biggest place in our hearts and my family and friends who I know will return. Thank you for the most beautiful weekend. We loved every second. It was magical. Maeve and Jon x

Location Situated within a 15 min drive from the centre of Killarney and located next to the main road. Parking There is ample parking at the hotel Decor The hotel is decorated to a high standard throughout , with the feeling of space throughout the hotel . Food There is a choice of A Le Carte food available in two restaurants. Spa This is located on the premises but you need to book a slot . Room Our room was very tastefully decorated and very spacious . Definitely recommend staying if you are in the area.

We had our wedding in Muckross Park Hotel, Killarney in July 2025, and it was nothing short of perfection from start to finish. They made sure everything ran smoothly, and their attention to detail was second to none. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they genuinely made us feel like the most important people in the world that weekend. The hotel itself is stunning, combining elegance and warmth in every corner. Our guests were blown away by the beautifully designed rooms, the luxurious suites, and the impeccable service throughout. The food and presentation were exquisite, and the entire day flowed seamlessly thanks to the hotel’s experienced team. The location in the heart of Killarney National Park added to the magic — surrounded by mountains, woodlands, and the breathtaking beauty of Muckross Lake. Our wedding photos look like something out of a fairytale. We truly couldn’t recommend Muckross Park Hotel more highly. If you’re looking for a venue that combines luxury, natural beauty, and world-class service, this is the place. We had our wedding at Muckross Park Hotel and Spa in September 2025. From the initial meeting with Niall to our wedding day supported by Daniel, every detail for our wedding was carried out, nothing was too much trouble. The staff during our stay were amazing, really helpful and could not do enough for us. Our families and friends who stayed said it was the best hotel they had ever stayed at, and it is.

A fantastic stay in beautiful surroundings. The staff, from reception, concierge, bar/restaurants and cleaners could not have been more helpful, and welcoming. We will definitely be returning.
