Reunion Resort & Golf Club

Resort is beautiful & room was nice & big for our family, but if going to Disney or Universal more than 1 or 2 days this isn’t the place to stay. It’s far and the traffic to get there is a nightmare

I need to hear from someone from Kingwood International and Reunion Resorts reference to the condition of the villa we are staying in currently. We reserved a villa on the advice and guidance of your staff when we spoke to them a month ago concerning our trip which began on Friday, July 25, 2026 thru Monday, July 27, 2026. This place is a big disappointment. When we arrived, we went to the assigned villa and it was filthy and had a horrible smell. So we went back to the front desk and were informed they only had one another villa...again..this place was worn out and your first impression walking into the lobby...filth. This place has not been cleaned in some time. Our sink in the bathroom was clogged and would not drain..so I pulled he stopper up and not to my surprise was full of hair and paper..again..this was never addressed by maintenance or management. In addition, there is a short in the ceiling fan in the bedroom, when you turn the light switch on for the fan and light combo, the light flashes on..meaning an electrical short. The fan speed cannot be increased or decreased. The condition of this villa is deplorable. The maintenance man came by today about 4 pm to take a look at the sink, which I showed him the condition of the stopper. Then we showed him the ceiling fan/light issue and he confirmed that there is a short. He said he would come back and have this issue corrected, but we have not seen or heard from anyone. In addition: Walls filthy. Floors and carpet filthy. Peeling paint. I can’t afford to walk away from this without any resolution. For the amount of money I spent on this pitiful villa, we could have moved to the Omni down the street or many other options. The pictures on your website display a beautiful resort, but we have found that is far from the truth. I can't wait to post our findings and photographs on line to advise people of the condition of this resort. We are freelance travel writers and have traveled all over the country..and this has to rank as one of the worst resorts we have visited. Unfortunately or I should say fortunately, my stay is limited to this Monday. We will be checking out At 9 a.m. to head to Myrtle Beach.

The Villa was very nice and accommodating! Everyone was very polite and helpful! We could not believe the price we paid for a 3 bedroom/3 bathroom Villa! We have paid that fora hotel room for the same amount of days! We plan to make this our go-to place to stay when we are in the area!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The villa was beautiful, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The resort facilities were excellent, the restaurants served delicious food, and the Cosmopolitans & Expresso Martini were outstanding! We traveled for a golf tournament, and the golf course was absolutely amazing—beautifully maintained, challenging, and a fantastic experience. It made our trip even more memorable. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!
