Hyatt Regency Cologne

Unfortunately, my little boy (3 years old) fell ill on two consecutive nights and was sick in our room around 1am both times. Daniils Porahonko was incredibly supportive throughout those difficult nights. His understanding, kindness, and genuine human touch made a huge difference to our stay. We would happily return to the hotel, largely because of the exceptional care he provided. Thank you, Daniils

Our stay was from December 20, to December 24, 2025. The hotel is right next to the exit from the bridge and has an incredible view of the Dom Koln and the Cologne city riverfront. It is a beautiful, easy walk across the bridge to get to the old town part of the city. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the cathedral, the Christmas market there and the main train station where you get the ICE (longer distance trains) and the regional trains. It is a relatively short walk to a closer regional train station. The hotel is first class in every way. The breakfast is nothing short of amazing and a bargain in my opinion. The rooms were well thought out, very clean and comfortable...the shower will blow you away (almost literally!). The free large bottles of water in the room replenished every night was most appreciated. The staff was most pleasant and helpful.

Good Hotel well located for easy access into and out of Cologne city centre. Good fitness and leisure facilities and generally the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Would certainly look at staying here again on a future visit

Spent 5 nights in the Hyatt Regency Cologne in December for the Christmas Markets. Hotel is in a great location with easy access to the city and train station. Upon entering the hotel, the lobby is amazing and hotel has lovely decor. Hotel receptionists were very helpful. Unfortunately the room is not up to 5 star standard, we stayed in a King Room, we found the room to be very dated and not very luxurious especially the bathrooms. We struggled to sleep for a few nights due to the room temperature being too hot, even with the window open, the air conditioning system is very poor and does not allow you to control the room temperature. When we raised this with reception we were offered a fan which is not something I expect from a 5 star hotel. The bar area in the hotel was very nice and the staff are excellent. Unfortunately we never ate or had breakfast at the hotel but the food all looked very nice.

Der Aufenthalt war eine Geburtstagsüberraschung für meinen Mann. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser Zimmer mit Clubzugang war sehr sauber und in einem top Zustand, vor allem das Bad. Der Blick auf den Dom beim Frühstück und Abendessen ist für mich der schönste Kölns.
