Hyatt Regency Cologne

I have mixed feelings about this property but enjoyed my stay nevertheless. I’ll start with a good. - If you’re fortunate enough to have a room with a view, then it’s magnificent. - The property itself is reasonably maintained but is very dated. - The water pressure in the shower is phenomenal. - The mattress is fairly new and was very comfortable. - management was quick to answer and resolve issues with my original room. - The breakfast buffet was phenomenal. The Japanese omelette guy I think made the best omelette I ever ate. The Bad - The front staff were not the friendliest. - I was either lied to you or given the wrong information because I had asked if there was a room on a higher floor and they said there wasn’t, until I complained about my original room which smelled funky, had dead bugs, and also the bathroom had shoe prints all throughout the floor.

What a great hotel. Elegant, great location and efficient staff. A friendly welcome on arrival and they were able to have our rooms ready three hours early. Room was overlooking the river. Checkout was straight forward and the concierge team helpful.

I had a fantastic experience at the Hyatt Regency. My room was ready earlier than expected and was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which made me feel very welcome. Breakfast was outstanding with a wide variety of delicious options. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely return. Highly recommended!

This Hyatt Regency was a really great experience. The Concierges/Staff was really helpful and kind. The room was spacious, clean and modern. The beds where very comfortable with cotton/feathers (not that plasticky stuff). The breakfast was lovely and had many options to choose from. Its walking distance to the Koelnmesse. They have Private electric parking spots out front that where great to use.
