We had a truly memorable stay, a paradise within paradise. From the moment we arrived, exhausted with two toddlers, we were welcomed with warmth. Sitting in the library with a cup of tea while waiting to check in set the tone for the whole experience. The way the staff shares information from the reservation onwards really caught my attention. It’s clear that the entire team is aligned and genuinely committed to making things run smoothly, always with a smile. That culture shines through, and it’s beautiful. One of the most touching moments was when the kitchen team came to say goodbye and take a photo with the babies. It moved us deeply. Only our closest family usually walks us to the door to say goodbye, already missing us and wishing for our return. The atmosphere, the details, the quality of the products — everything was crafted with care. The banana cake was delicious, and we appreciated the effort to accommodate our vegan diet. However, I believe there’s room to grow when it comes to vegan options for kids. As an adult, I don’t mind simple meals, but for the little ones, it became a challenge over the days. One day the seasoning was off, another the cake was undercooked, sometimes the wait was too long, and managing two toddlers out of their routine turned into a juggling act. The kids’ playroom was also closed during the time we needed it most, breakfast, when it could have helped us all enjoy that moment more calmly. Despite these points, the kindness and professionalism of the team left a lasting impression. With some adjustments, especially around family-friendly vegan options, we’d be thrilled to return. Otherwise, for trips with the kids, we might opt for a villa with helpers, as we’ve done in Bali. But the truth is, we’re already hoping to come back because you made us feel at home. Thank you for the beauty and the heart you put into everything.

We traveled as a family of 13 for Grandads 75th Birthday !!! All the children, teenagers and adults had an amazing time at this resort, it has something for everyone. The staff are friendly, rooms are newly renovated and beautiful, awesome service, amazing morning buffet breakfast, great new gym equipment as well as free classes like Pilates, Meditation etc, the location as at the very end/start of the Fishermans Walk so awesome to go and experience so many restaurants/bars/night markets with a short walk, the location doesn't attract a heap of young teenagers out partying rather nicer restaurants and bars and still places to dance, it is super clean in the resort and also the surroundings.. We will definitely be back Thanks Team Anantara

Such an elegant venue and super courteous staff. We were so impressed with their kindness and attention to details. You would be challenged to find a more pleasant place to be. For sure the management must be proud of their dedicated team. We stayed in a lovely ocean view suite. The lovely staff made our stay super comfortable. We loved the breakfast buffet with fresh pressed juice. Such a treat and so helpful to have a healthy start to the day. The tour staff helped us enjoy elephants and islands which are essential stops for any tourists. The venues location is conveniently located next to the Fisherman market which is great for a variety of activities and meals. Overall, a very pleasant experience that I’d recommend. The only caveat is they don’t accept pets, which is part of one of foremost family planning albeit a bit challenging in Asia. Something we’d hope to see more of in the future should they be able to accommodate our furry family member! The 24hrs gym access is great, really appreciated that. The spa was super relaxing too. I don’t try the Muay Thai class but the area was great. PS, try out Kawin’s Kitchen across the way. Was a nice meal.

This hotel exceeded expectations! We were on a multi-generational family vacation, and the needs and desires of every family member was fully met. The hotel and grounds are beautiful (website does not do it justice) and the friendly service is impeccable. The rooms are spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds, amazing showers, and great amenities like complimentary bottled water, daily snacks adjusted to your taste, adorable balcony/reading nook, even a stuffed animal for the kids!). It felt very safe - no issue letting the kids find their own way - and very convenient to Fisherman's Village restaurants and markets. The spa is equally beautiful and tranquil, with true professionals working spa magic with the treatments. Highly recommend the daily breakfast buffet and the pool bars as well. The beach's sand is not as fine as the eastern side of the island but the view is still gorgeous and all of the same beach amenities are available without the more aggressive vibe. Great way for adults to enjoy themselves yet still plenty of activities for all. Thank you, Anantara!

I recently returned from a 12 night stay with my family at the Anantara Bophut, Koh Samui where we celebrated my 60th birthday. Upon arrival we drove up the spectacularly lit driveway and immediately knew we were in for something special. The friendly staff at reception greeted us warmly setting the tone for a truly memorable holiday. The resort is impressive with lush tropical gardens, a magnificent lotus pond filled with water lilies and two traditional Thai style pavilions. At night, the mood is set as they are illuminated with lanterns and soft lighting. Set on the beach, the resort offers privacy and spectacular views of Koh Phangan and the sunset. Our rooms were well appointed and generous in size blending Thai design with modern comforts. The beds and in particular the linen and pillows were plush and extremely comfortable ensuring a good nights sleep. The most outstanding part of our stay were the exceptional staff. All were incredible, with a few deserving special mention. Eva and Sandy from reception are standouts always smiling and making sure every moment of our stay was perfect. Thank you both so much for everything and in particular all the personal touches that made us feel truly special and valued. Another worthy mention is Pearl from the tour desk who went above and beyond to advise us on excursions and plan activities. Her gentle and genuinely caring nature was greatly appreciated. Finally, a big shoutout to Tum who ran the exercise sessions each morning. His energy and humour made the sessions enjoyable and so much more fun. The resort is located just a 5 minute walk from the Fisherman’s Village which offers a great variety of restaurants, bars, shops and night markets. I highly recommend the Anantara Bophut for its great location, outstanding service and warm welcoming atmosphere. While the hotel is not huge it felt much more personal and intimate. Thank you again to the management and all the staff, you are doing and amazing job.
