Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort

I’m staying at the Anantara hotel at the moment and can’t believe how perfect it is, we stayed at one in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 last January and this one is just a perfect 👌 It’s fully booked but is still serene and peaceful, no rooms over look you and there’s loads of room on the beach and pool area. The restaurant are also amazing. As for the staff they are so kind and caring, Luna has taken great care of us and made sure we are having a wonderful stay, Bank has book us 3 day excursion, nothing is to much for the staff at the Anantara,

Great combination of tranquility and location. Took family of 5 - everyone happy: fabulous rooms on the beach, great food, brilliant gym, fantastic helpful staff. Particularly recommend the Muay Thai thank you Pinto and Tum.

Perfect beach hotel. Friendly staff who are so helpful felt very safe. BBQ on the beach was superb. Spa treatment was blissful, special shout out to Arm in food and beverage who went above and beyond as I have dairy intolerance.

This is my favourite hotel in the whole world for many reasons: staff, super rooms, location, gardens, breakfast being the first in mind.

We stayed at Anantara Bophut for three nights and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We were upgraded to a partial sea view room which was spacious, beautifully designed and immaculately clean. The attention to detail throughout the room was outstanding — Dyson hairdryer, beach bag, yoga mat, umbrellas, slippers, cotton pads, toothpaste and so many thoughtful extras that made the stay feel effortless. Everything you might need had clearly already been considered. What really stood out were the little touches. Each evening at turndown there would be a small gift such as biscuits or dried fruit, slippers placed neatly by the bed and a handwritten note wishing us a good night. We were also welcomed with a lovely dessert on arrival, which immediately set the tone for the stay. The service was consistently excellent. Every member of staff was warm, friendly and professional, and the hotel felt spotlessly clean throughout. Breakfast was outstanding — an incredible choice and genuinely high-quality food, not just quantity. We spent each day on the beach in a cabana, and the service there was fantastic. There’s a small button to press if you’d like a drink or food, and someone would arrive promptly with a big smile — attentive but never intrusive. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is calm, luxurious and very zen. It never felt busy or chaotic, just peaceful and beautifully run. The location is also perfect — right at the end of Fisherman’s Village, close enough to walk into the restaurants and shops in a couple of minutes, but far enough away to avoid any noise. We did have a minor issue with the air conditioning one evening, but once we contacted reception someone came quickly to fix it, and the following day the team were very apologetic, even though it really wasn’t a major problem. The way it was handled reflected the high level of care throughout the hotel. This stay completely restored our faith in what a truly well-run, luxury hotel should feel like. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend it.
