Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort

I loved the Anantara from start to finish. I went with my friend for the last 4 days of my trip to Thailand and the staff were incredible. I really felt the luxurious welcome, clean facilities, great food. Breakfast selection was lovely, the pool bar was fantastic which had me happy hour from 5pm - 6pm and 9pm - 10pm. Kee and Mook honestly made our evening every night, so warm and amazing cocktails. The bed was really comfortable and they left personalised notes in the room too which was a nice touch. Gym recently done up so very clean and nice really liked that. Super close to Fisherman’s village so that was also really convenient - I would defo stay again!

A nine night stay before heading back to Bangkok and we really didn’t want to leave….until the last few days when torrential rain made it a little easier to go. The hotel is small in depth and long towards the sea with beautiful large gardens and water features which resulted in a lot of mosquitos. Never a rush for sun beds at swimming pool in the morning. An excellent gym with new technogym machines. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of Asian and Western foods. We had a sea view suite which was probably triple the size of a normal room. It was really nice! Special mention goes to Sandy who looked after us professionally and with real care. Unsure if I’d return for the third time to Koh Samui, but if I did I would return here.

My wife and I stayed at Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort and it honestly became my favorite resort in Samui. The whole place has the perfect balance of luxury, relaxation, and authentic Thai hospitality. The beachfront really stands out compared to most resorts on the island — comfortable loungers, never too crowded, and the water was crystal clear, swimmable, and completely free of rocks. The gardens and greenery around the resort are stunning and make the whole place feel peaceful and tropical. We also loved Tin Thai, their Thai restaurant tucked away among the lush plantations. The spa was another highlight and easily one of the most beautiful I’ve seen — very White Lotus vibes. I also had one of the best massages of my entire Thailand trip there. What truly made the stay special though was the staff. Everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. A special thank you to Tina, who went above and beyond to help us with everything and made our trip even more memorable. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it for couples looking for a relaxing and upscale stay in Koh Samui.

We had a wonderful stay at Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort and would happily return. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling over the top. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with lush tropical gardens and a beautiful lotus pond that creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere throughout. Our garden pool suite was lovely, spacious, comfortable and perfect for relaxing. While our villa was a little closer to the main pool area than expected, it was still quiet and peaceful, and we really enjoyed having our own private pool to retreat to. The food across the resort was consistently very good. We especially appreciated the variety of dining options, and our anniversary dinner on the beach by the F & B designer dining team was an amazing experience, beautifully set up, delicious, and a truly memorable evening. The resort location is also excellent, with Fisherman’s Village just a short and easy walk away, offering plenty of additional dining options and a relaxed beachfront vibe. We also found the Anantara team to be very responsive and helpful both in the lead-up to our stay, including arranging our airport transfer and accommodating our requests where possible as well as during our stay. Overall, this resort strikes a great balance between luxury and comfort, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway.
