My wife and I just stayed at Anantara Bophut for our honeymoon and it was, without exaggeration, the best hotel experience of my life. From the moment we arrived, every single detail was taken care of — and then some. What truly sets this place apart is the people. Stella, Jass, Sandy, Natty, and Mook were absolutely exceptional. They didn’t just accommodate us — they anticipated everything we needed before we even asked. Mook booked us an excursion that was a highlight of our entire trip. Every interaction felt personal and genuine, never scripted. The property itself is stunning, the food is outstanding, and the atmosphere is pure relaxation. But it’s the team here that makes Anantara Bophut something you don’t forget. We’re already talking about when we can come back — honestly, I’d turn around and check back in tomorrow if I could. Spent the most amazing 7 nights on B&B at this hotel. Our room was central to the 2 restaurants, lovely pool and beach beyond. We were greeted each morning for breakfast by the staff in the restaurant who were so pleasant and remembered our room number and drink order after the first day. The really couldn’t have done any more for us. A delight to be around. We spent most of our days either on the beach or around the pool with lunch by the pool bar. Again, friendly and helpful service from the staff around here. From the rear of the hotel, a little under 5 mins you reach Fisherman’s Village which is a nice place to enjoy the night markets, bars and restaurants, many of which have tables on the beachfront or directly on the beach and suit all budgets. A big thank you to all of the staff we met. You are a credit to the hotel and made our holiday.

On arrival at the hotel we were struck by the beautiful surroundings , lush vegetation and attractive buildings .We received a warm welcome from the hotel reception staff, a cold drink and after check in we were given a complimentary 15 minute head and shoulders massage and taken to our room. We had booked the hotel in march 2025 and after much research on room types we had booked a deluxe garden view room expecting to be on the second floor of the 3 storey main building and not the cheaper room type on the top floor. However our room was up at least 35 steps up to the top floor and was the end room along the outside walkway, the farthest room away from the facilities, the pool and the sea. The room was large and comfortable and we had a lovely welcome surprise waiting for us as it was our anniversary which we really appreciated. There was a full balcony which we didn't expect but the view from the room was of the back of the hotel with lots of trees and vegetation which made the room feel quite dark . We went back to reception and explained that the top floor was not suitable for us and we were not happy with the location of the room.The staff could not have been more helpful. They found a room available for us the next day on the second floor which did have a garden view , was much brighter and only 17 steps to negotiate.. Throughout our stay we found the hotel staff exceptional in their attention and helpfulness . The breakfast was very good . We did not eat in the restaurant as there are so many excellent restaurants in the Fishermans Village close by. The pool bar served delicious snacks and drinks and had a happy hour twice a day . The pool was one of the best hotel pools we have used despite the lack of handrails down the steps into the pool. The rails were positioned halfway down the steps in the water which for older guests was a little more difficult. There were cabanas and sunbeds on the beach just afew steps down from the pool area. The hotel grounds were beautiful , full of lovely plants and ponds with water lilillies , singing birds and squirrels. Location was excellent, just a very short walk to Fishermans Village with its abundance of restaurants, bars, shops and night market. The hotel caters well for families with young children with a childrens club and babysitting service. . Older guests or those with mobility or sight issues may find the low steps and different floor levels in the hotel lobby a little difficult as the floors are all a dark wood colour but the decor overall is very attractive and there are handrails on the main staircases. As you can gather we are a couple of well travelled older guests highlighting our older persons point of view. Would we stay here again, definitely . It was a most enjoyable experience especially as the hotel staff were so pleasant and helpful. Thanks to the kind lady who made my husband a warm honey and lemon drink when he had a sore throat and who checked on him every day . .

We stayed here after a two week tour of Vietnam and Cambodia for a rest up. It’s a stunning hotel well maintained and nice and quiet. Just a short walk to Fisherman’s Road area with plenty of bars and restaurants/ night markets etc. We did have a small issue with mosquito bites but maybe that’s the tropics! Have some good repellant to keep them at bay! But the people and food in the hotel are great. Definitely would recommend .

Not long back from a wonderful trip to this amazing hotel. From the check in with the help of Mam who was excellent to the everyday service from all the staff. The buffet breakfast was something to behold and changed every day. The room was lovely and comfortable with all amenities. The pool and beach were lovely, with service from the waiters available at all times. It was our second trip to the hotel, we will definitely return.
