The Briza Beach Resort

We are back, after staying in Feb/March 2025 & loving it here! Stayed in a room with a balcony last time & a room with a private plunge Pool this time which has been lovely (312). Breakfast is better than last year, though the coffee machine is slow (but great coffee). The selection is lovely - fresh orange juice this year, I think it was concentrate last year. Same lovely lady on the egg station doing eggs any way you want, Thai, continental & western offerings as well as beautiful fresh fruit. Ken organised a lovely room for us with a great view as we are returning guests (312). We did have a problem with tiny ants getting into our clothes (which wasn’t fun) but management arranged for us to be moved to a villa with pool (512) which was even nicer than our previous room, & laundered all our clothes to get rid of any traces of the ants! Nothing more they could have done & it’s one of those things in Thailand (or any other tropical country) that’s difficult to control. We spoke to management as we were putting clothes on & getting bitten- literally ants in our pants!!! They upgraded us for the rest of our stay to a villa with pool. Thank you! Sak at the pool bar kept us fed & watered, was very attentive & made an effort to remember our names! He also took care of our bags when we went for an impromptu walk on the beach and didn’t return for a couple of hours! Sak also spoke to a group of rowdy, noisy guests playing loud music whilst guests were trying to relax! He is a great member of staff & we will remember him for looking after us! All the staff are friendly, polite & do what they can for you, they all aim to please & are always smiling. I had an excellent foot massage from one of the ladies in purple at the beach front in the hotel grounds - so relaxing with the sound of the waves! The rooms we’ve stayed in are all spotless (bar the tiny ants that got into the first room this time). The whole resort is spotless. We tried most of the menu food and all lovely, excellent quality & great value! Cocktails & drinks all good value. It’s not 5 star & isn’t trying to be it’s a great 4 star & we love it here! Great distance to walk or get a tuk tuk to the centre, the beach is down the steps, and plenty of restaurants a stones throw away if you don’t want to go into town. Thank you Briza for another great holiday, and management for going over and above to rectify our issue - can’t fault the action taken. We will be back again!

Great bar staff, very friendly, very funny , will definitelybe back for the great company , great location, awesome employees like Sak & Art are hard to find , great guys !!!!!!!!!!!!

Lovely Hotel, nice rooms, atmosphere nice and chilled, staff are great especially Somechai and Sak who looked after us whenever we saw them. Would definitely recommend.

Sak the beach bar waiter made us very welcome on our 1st day and everyday afterwards. He kept the drinks flowing even during happy hour and was a great all round guy. A pleasure to be around him.
