The Briza Beach Resort

Fabulous ten day stay at The Briza. All staff were so welcoming and helpful. Special mention to Ken and Goy who assisted with an issue that that was not a hotel issue. Excellent selection for breakfast in the lovely dining room. Well kept gardens. The only negative I had was that there was not a “comfy” chair in the room which was a plunge pool room. There were two hard back chairs but not very comfy for relaxing. Overall a fabulous experience.

⭐ 1/5 – We left after ONE night. That says everything. We arrived at The Briza Beach Resort Samui as a family with two young children, expecting a relaxing family vacation. Unfortunately, the experience was so disappointing that after just one night, we packed everything and left. First of all, in our experience, this hotel is simply not suitable for families traveling with babies, toddlers, and strollers. There are so many stairs around the property that getting from place to place with a stroller became frustrating and exhausting. Something as simple as leaving the room felt like a mission. The cleanliness was another major disappointment. We found many ants in the bathroom and shower, and overall, the room did not feel clean to us. There were also a lot of mosquitoes, which was especially unpleasant when traveling with very young children. We also felt uncomfortable with some of the open water areas around the accommodation. With small children, instead of being able to relax, we felt that we constantly had to be extra alert. But what made this experience even worse was the way the hotel handled the situation afterward. We explained all of our concerns and tried to find a fair solution. We even offered to PAY for the one night we actually stayed and simply asked to be refunded for the remaining unused nights. The hotel refused. Instead of taking responsibility or trying to reach a reasonable solution with a family that had clearly decided the property was unsuitable for them, we felt that the hotel simply dismissed our concerns and ignored our request for a fair refund. We were not asking for a free stay. We were willing to pay for the night we used. We only asked not to be charged for the remaining nights after we had already left the property. For us, this was extremely disappointing customer service. Packing everything, finding another hotel, and moving with two small children is the LAST thing any parent wants to do during a vacation. Yet we still preferred doing all of that rather than spending another night here. A hotel experience is not only about the room or facilities — it is also about how management treats guests when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, our experience with both was disappointing. We would absolutely not return, and based on our experience, we cannot recommend this resort to families traveling with babies, toddlers, or strollers. If you are considering booking this hotel with small children, think very carefully before paying for a long stay. ⭐ One star — only because zero stars isn’t an option.

A truly exceptional stay at The Briza Beach Resort Samui Our stay at The Briza Beach Resort Samui was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and an impeccable level of hospitality that made the entire experience feel effortless. Our room was absolutely beautiful, spacious, elegant, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, and every detail contributed to making our stay feel truly special. The breakfast deserves a special mention as well. The selection was excellent, the food was delicious, and the quality was exactly what you would hope for from a resort of this standard. It was genuinely something we looked forward to every morning. What truly elevated our experience, however, was the outstanding service. Every member of the team was courteous and attentive, but Ken at the lobby deserves particular recognition. From the very beginning, he was exceptionally warm, kind, and professional. He was always available whenever we needed assistance and consistently went the extra mile to make sure everything was taken care of. His genuine care and attention to detail made us feel incredibly well looked after. It is rare to find hospitality that feels both polished and genuinely personal, and Ken embodies exactly that. The Briza Beach Resort Samui gave us a wonderful experience from beginning to end, and we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending it. We look forward to returning and experiencing the same exceptional hospitality again. Thank you to the entire team, and especially Ken, for making our stay truly memorable.
