Centara Grand Beach Resort Samui

We‘ve had a wonderful relaxing stay at Centara Reserve Samui. A very welcoming Hotel regarding accomodation and Service. Thanks a lot to Fah who welcomed us so warm and nicely at our first day.

The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, especially the breakfast team. Breakfast had so many delicious options that even after 4 nights we still couldn’t try everything! Special thanks to Plapla and especially Pui for their lovely service and warm hospitality every morning ❤️ The room was beautiful, the view was stunning, and the hotel had a very natural and relaxing atmosphere. Also, the Thai restaurant “Sa-Nga” is a must try! The food was absolutely delicious, and Taete gave us great recommendations — every dish was amazing and the service was excellent. We truly loved our stay and will definitely come back again!

It was a perfect vacation. The staff was amazing, especially Beaut, Sao, Fah, and Michalle. The service was beyond expectations, the breakfast was perfect, and the team was always available for any question or problem. There is also free-flow refill alcohol at the hotel. We will definitely come back again.

Out of my 5 hotel stays in Thailand, I was least impressed with this one and I stayed the most nights here (6). I stayed in room 700 which was a direct pool access room. There were some nice things about the room itself with having complementary bar and snack service every day. However, it was by far the noisiest room I stayed at between Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Ko Samui. The entrance to the room was near the lobby pick up area, but most of the noise also came from the staff constantly coming through this area I guess because their quarters were there or their supply room is there but anytime I was in the room. It was very noisy. You could hear people walking back-and-forth nonstop. Also, no matter how low you set the AC it stayed at a constant 24°C however, it felt warmer than that. I found the complementary breakfast to be fairly bland and it was a little unorganized when ordering from the specific table number option. On the bright side, the property was very nice and well maintained. The gym was a pretty good size too. The salt Society restaurant was also a highlight. It was definitely one of the best food options I had on my trip and the drinks were very good. Having access to the beach area was very nice too. Overall, it would’ve been a better experience if I picked a different room I think

My wife and I had our wedding at Centara Reserve Samui in early March 2026, and we can confidently say the experience made Centara Reserve our go to resort every time we are in Samui. One of the main reasons for that is Khun Khai. We live in the United States, so planning a wedding in Thailand could have easily been overwhelming, especially since we were planning to have multiple events during our wedding week and around 100 guests traveling from all over the world. From the moment we first reached out, Khai responded to our emails almost immediately every single time. That level of responsiveness meant so much to us because coordinating such an important week from across the world requires trust, communication, and reliability, and Khai exceeded every expectation. He made sure we had all the information we needed and always took the time to confirm and reconfirm details so everything would be executed perfectly. From event locations throughout the property, food selections for each event, menu customizations, drinks, staffing, guest logistics, and literally anything else we needed, Khai handled everything with professionalism, patience, and genuine care. With only one pre wedding venue visit and menu tasting, Khai made sure not a single second was wasted and had every step of the itinerary carefully planned before we even arrived. There was even time set aside during the visit for us to meet a lot of the Centara team, which made us feel even more confident that we had chosen the right place for our wedding. What truly stood out to us was how much everyone at Centara Reserve Samui genuinely cared. The Head Chef personally came out to walk us through the tasting and assured us every dish would be executed flawlessly. Even the General Manager took time out of his busy day to introduce himself and personally let us know he was available if we needed anything at all. That level of commitment, hospitality, and attention to detail is what truly makes this place special. We were very particular about many details throughout the process, and every interaction with Khai gave us complete confidence that everything was under control. He was always 10 steps ahead, proactively making sure everything and everyone was taken care of before we even had to ask. No matter the situation, he always approached it with a calm, positive, and happy demeanor that immediately put us at ease during such an important week in our lives. Hosting multiple wedding events across several days is not easy, but Khai and the entire Centara team made everything feel seamless. Even the little details we weren’t thinking about were magically done so literally every moment felt special. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful, organized, and well taken care of they felt throughout the entire experience. Khun Khai truly deserves a promotion. He is the definition of someone who takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about creating unforgettable experiences. Thank you, Khun Khai, and thank you to the entire Centara Reserve Samui team for making our wedding week more perfect than we could have ever imagined. We can't wait to come back!
