Centara Grand Beach Resort Samui

My second stay in 2 years. T The service, food, general ambience of this resort is unmatched. The amenities truly elevated the experience. The pool area was pristine, the beach was well maintained, and there were plenty of loungers without ever feeling crowded. Dining was another highlight—fresh seafood, diverse menu options, and delicious flavors that exceeded expectations. Every meal felt like a treat. What really sets this resort apart is the staff. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help, they went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Whether arranging activities, offering local recommendations, or simply checking in to see how I was enjoying ourselves, their hospitality was outstanding. The local Thai staff are impeccable. Thank you to Khun Bow, Khun June, Khun Suzie, Khun Pui, Khun Shokun, Khun Ann, Khun Bam, Khun Babe, Khun Kampoo and Khun Best. This resort is the perfect blend of relaxation and luxury, ideal for anyone looking to unwind by the ocean.

We had a fantastic stay at Centara Reserve Samui and would happily return. The resort is incredibly quiet, which made for the best and most restful sleep of our trip. The room was tasteful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed without feeling overdone. One of the real highlights is the adults-only pool area, which creates a calm, relaxing space away from children and genuinely enhances the sense of escape. The main pool is also very well managed. Q and Nonny deserve special mention for the way they help everyone get a good seat, even when it’s busy. It’s clearly not an easy task, and they handle it cheerfully and fairly. The gin bar is excellent, with a great range and a very good happy hour. Across the resort, the staff are genuinely happy and engaged, which says a lot about the quality of management and how well staff are treated. Breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety of high-quality options, and it never felt chaotic despite the number of guests. The location is also ideal. It’s a short drive to the excellent restaurants at Fisherman’s Village, and the resort sits on a lovely white sand beach that’s perfect for swimming. All up, Centara Reserve Samui delivers a calm, well-managed, and genuinely relaxing experience. Highly recommended.

Our stay here was truly unforgettable and without a doubt the most beautiful vacation we have ever had on Koh Samui. A very special thank you to Aly, Michelle, and Best you are absolutely amazing! From the very first moment, we felt incredibly welcome and cared for. Everything was handled with the highest level of professionalism, warmth, and genuine kindness. The service was flawless, yet always personal and heartfelt. You can truly feel that the team loves what they do. This place feels like a home away from home. The atmosphere is warm, peaceful, and full of positive energy, and the staff goes above and beyond to make every guest feel special and comfortable. Everyone here is incredibly friendly, attentive, and simply wonderful. We cannot recommend this place enough. If you are looking for a perfect, relaxing, and memorable stay on Koh Samui, this is the place to be!!!!!! Overall the hotel is nice, but not nicely maintained at all. The cleanliness is poor! Thai kind! Everything is sticky, they do not use proper cleaning tools. No vacumcleaner, only broom what they use. All towers, bedsheets, robes are off-white, spotted. After the dayly cleaning you do not feel cleaningness in the room at all. Beach towels are extremly dirty and oldish. Rooms design is not bad, but not tailored for a longer period of stay. The wardrobe is not able to accomodate 2-3 suitcases. Breakfast is ok, but not diverse at all. In a country of many tropicql fruits, here they only offer 4-5 kinds of fruits, every day the same! Only the kind of basic fruits, nothing special local fruit available. Watermelon, pineable, melon, apple and dragon fruit. Although the markets are full of exotic, uniqe fruits. Service is the Thai/Asian kind of service, do not expect the 5 star Western service. The hotel does not worth its price during the Christmas Holidays. Extremly expensive, compared what you get for your money. Locationwise, Chewang Beach is very bussy, full of shops, restaurants, cafes, party places. Beach is also very bussy, for a quiet holiday choose other location. This part of the beach is normally realy nice, one of the nices, but after big rains, storm it takes 2-3-4 days to get the water nice clean again. Hotel is not doing anythig with all of the rubish that the wawes take out to the beach.

This hotel is amazing. This is our second visit. This time is every bit as good as last year. Bow in the Terrace restaurant looked after us so well and she is such a lovely girl well nothing is too much trouble. Benz in the Salt and Society Restaurant is always smiling and helpful and Paul keeps the pool running smoothly and the towel is on the sunbed as soon as he sees you, these staff members really stand out but everyone of the staff are so welcoming. We have already booked to come back before we have even left, this says it all!! We would definitely recommend Centara Reserve Samui for a wonderful holiday. Alice in the Spa is very talented, I had the best facial I have ever had. The grounds are kept spotless and the rooms are lovely and serviced everyday with a turn down service in the evening.
