Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui is the perfect place to discover the idyllic bliss of Thailand’s island life, whether from a private outdoor deck overlooking the ocean, the aqua-inspired interiors of a plush residence perched on the hillside, or the turquoise waters of an infinity pool.

My family and I recently enjoyed a magnificent 8-day stay at the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui, where we were utterly immersed in lush greenery that transformed our vacation into a tropical paradise. The serene ambiance, coupled with the stunning views of the Gulf of Thailand, made it feel like we’d escaped to a private jungle retreat. The highlight of our culinary experience was undoubtedly the Italian restaurant, where every meal felt like a celebration. The parmigiana revisited by Chef Luigi Frassanito was a masterpiece—I can still taste the perfect balance of creamy eggplant, rich tomato sauce, and a hint of innovation that elevated this classic dish to new heights. It was so unforgettable that I’m already planning a return trip solely to savor it again. The attentive service and the warm, open-air setting overlooking the sea only enhanced the experience, making each bite a memory to cherish. The Secret Garden Spa also stole our hearts, with its tranquil treatment rooms nestled among the greenery. My partner and I indulged in a rejuvenating Thai massage, surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature, which left us refreshed and deeply relaxed. The villas themselves were a dream, with our private pool villa offering a spacious deck and an infinity pool that seemed to merge with the ocean below. The staff’s gracious hospitality, a blend of Four Seasons excellence and Thai warmth, made every moment special, from the cold jasmine-scented towels upon arrival to the personalized touches throughout our stay. It was worth every penny for the luxury, nature immersion, and unique experiences. I’d highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a blend of relaxation and adventure, especially food lovers eager to experience Chef Frassanito’s culinary genius. We’re already counting down the days until our next visit!

Never written a review and this is a very hard one for me to write for one of my favourite hotels - This was our 3rd visit to the Four Seasons Samui - The hotel is gorgeous and staff super friendly. However right now it’s become a “White Lotus” tourist attraction. While we were staying at the hotel we realised that there is no area that is specifically just for hotel guests (which was not the case previously). You see hoards of non hotel guests taking their Instagram shots all over the property. Outside guests are even allowed to use the common pool at Cocorum - I haven’t seen this happen at any Four Seasons/other resorts of this standard. This for me is not acceptable as people staying at the resort are paying a premium to have some discretion and quiet. Unfortunately the restaurants and pool was ruined for us by a number of non hotel guests who took the opportunity to take photos & selfies ALL DAY! There were at least half a dozen guests whose behaviour truly ruined the tranquil experience we were expecting and made for some comical but rather frustrating viewing. While the White Lotus is great PR for Four Seasons - it’s coming at the cost of their guests feeling like monkeys in a zoo. We booked our stay before knowing that it was the filming location of the White Lotus and unfortunately we didn’t have the FS experience we had experienced during our last trips to this property. At one point we were told by staff that we should ensure we have reservations at the restaurant as there might be no table for us as they might have outside guests coming in - this for me shows that the hotel is prioritising the publicity they have generated from the show rather than their actual paying guests. While I understand the “White Lotus” effect for FS is great for their publicity I somehow feel it’s backfired for actual guests staying at the hotel who are wanting some peace and quiet to escape their busy lives back home. Sorry team - your service was wonderful but that's about the only positive! I will hopefully want to return to the hotel at some point, however not in the near future and will have to wait for the White Lotus buzz to die down first.

My wife and I went to Four Seasons Koh Samui as part of our honeymoon, and we had the best time at this beautiful resort. The views around the resort and from the villas are truly breathtaking. The service is great and what you would expect from a Four Seasons. We spent most of our time relaxing in our villa or at the pool area by the beach. The private beach is fantastic and there are a few water activities you can do, such as paddleboarding or laying in a hammock that hangs over the ocean. We were impressed by the dining options and enjoyed eating at the property. Before our trip, we had booked a Muay Thai class, which turned out to be a fantastic experience. The instructor was a former fighter, spoke great English, and made the class both challenging and fun. It was definitely a workout, but doing it with incredible views made it a one-of-a-kind experience.

This is the best hotel ever I have travelled in Asia. Spectacular ocean view from the room. Room size is spacious, while privacy is remained. Best place to spend a vacation with beloved one. Parking is available. There are only two main roads crossing the island, therefore it is easy to travel around the island with rented car. Big thanks to Food and Beverage Manager Akashay, who has ensured our dining experience lovely and nice. First class service at reception! Staff are extremely friendly with cheerful manner. I hope I would return very soon back to Koh Samui Four Seasons.
