Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui

We had a lovely welcome at this beautifully run property, including a warm greeting from the energetic General Manager. This is a grand, classic resort that truly reflects the charm of the original luxury resorts that inspired many modern developments. We stayed in a pool hilltop unit, which was magical — the patio, privacy, and views were exceptional. The concierge-organized activities were excellent, especially the buggy ride to the island’s highest point for a drink with panoramic views. We also enjoyed the elephant experience, the zoo, spa family day and other family-friendly activities When my daughter became unwell, a doctor arrived quickly, which was very reassuring. The beach Don’t expect white sand! Its dark beige but bo rocks .. An overall wonderful stay with my two daughters, excited to come back and we’re looking forward to Four Seasons Resort Phuket as well.

Four Seasons Koh Samui is nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment you arrive, you feel completely transported into a private, serene paradise where every detail is given attention and every interaction feels warm. We stayed four nights in early January 2026, visiting from the U.S., and from start to finish the experience exceeded every expectation. Our villa was stunning, offering total privacy with breathtaking ocean views, lush tropical surroundings, and beautifully designed interiors that balance luxury with a sense of calm. The villas are set so each feels private in the lush landscape. The FS beds are always plush and comfortable. The bathrooms expansive while making you feel as though you are outdoors. Taking a deep bath with an incredible view while feeling private was a highlight of our stay. The resort itself felt like a page out of Fantasy Island. At any moment I half expected to hear Tattoo yell, “da plane, da plane.” Breakfast at the top of the resort was an experience with both a buffet and à la carte options to satisfy every desire. The views from every angle were exceptional. Heading down to the bottom of the resort to the beach and pool area is another experience not to be missed. The daybeds were so comfortable to snuggle in, enjoy the sun, sleep or read a book. The pool was delicious. Even the bar seating, throne like chairs designed for two, were indulgent and fun. The spa midway up was like a jungle adventure. After check in, you follow a walkway through lush tropical surroundings up, down and around to your private outdoor spa villa. The setting is serene, secluded, and the treatments great. The fitness center, set farther up the tropical pathway, is integrated into the landscape, offering views that make working out feel serene versus routine. The service though is where this resort shines. The staff anticipate your needs and are attentive without ever being intrusive. Every request is met with a smile and a genuine desire to make your stay perfect. Even when we encountered a small bump in the road, rough waters preventing a trip to Ang Thong Marine Park, the Living Room staff handled it with tact, grace, and professionalism. Dining across the resort was very good. We ate at every restaurant, both on the beach and at the top of the resort, and every meal felt special, fresh, relaxed, and beautifully presented, as well as delicious. We enjoyed the gift shop and took home a special reminder of our stay at the FS Koh Samui. The villas, spa, beach, and overall atmosphere create a sense of deep relaxation that’s hard to put into words. Time truly slows down here in the best possible way. We felt little need to leave the premises for four days and wanted to extend our stay but our flights could not accommodate the extension. Four Seasons Koh Samui is not just a resort; it’s an experience that defines luxury, hospitality, and tranquility. Worth every moment and every penny. A true five-star escape that sets the standard for what a perfect getaway should be.

We had an exceptional experience at the Four Seasons in Koh Samui, largely thanks to the incredible team that took such great care of us. Every single person working at the resort did their absolute best to make us feel welcome, cared for and at home. Everyone was so friendly and always smiling, from the service staff to the gardeners and to the behind-the scenes team members. The responsiveness of the team on the Whattsapp chat for example was outstanding. Any request or question was handled instantly, we never had to wait. Breakfast was a daily highlight. It was managed by Nicolas with great professionalism, experience and exceptional attention to detail. Everyone was so helpful and made Breakfast truly enjoyable. Fluke, Belle and Elizabeth derserve a special recognition. They were incredibly attentive and genuinely caring. What stood out was how well they understood and remembered all dietary requirements without us having to repeat or ask for them. They anticipated our needs effortlessly and always offered fantastic recommendations. Akshay Singh, the manager at the Italian Restaurant, was just as outstanding. He ran the restaurant with professionalism, warmth and genuine hospitality. His knowledge and passion were evident in every interaction. His wine recommendations were excellent and he was very attentive to our dietary restrictions, proactively ensuring that special dishes were created for us. His care elevated every dinner and made the restaurant one of the highlights of our stay. A very special thank you to the Chef Deepak as well, who had amazing dishes and an even more amazing smile. Especially his dish for Christmas was memorable. We were traveling with our daughter and the way the entire team made us feel so genuinely welcomed and meant a lot to us. They all remembered our names amidst all the people staying at the resort. All in all this was an unforgettable stay with an extraordinary team that consistently went above and beyond.

Four Seasons ; Koh Samui is one of the last bastions of style, discretion and impeccable friendly service . When you leave you think you dreamt you were in paradise. It was our third visit and we will return in dec to usher out 2026. Love the barefoot beach atmosphere on New Years Eve. Ran into old friends and made new friends. It was an amazing stay.
