Garrya Tongsai Bay Samui

The experience in the hotel was excellent- very clean, great breakfast and most importantly amazing hotel staff. The hotel has an amazing view of the beach, we loved our time here!

We stayed in room 514 which was absolutely perfect with everything we needed for our stay. The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious and perfect as were the outside facilities with a lovely pool , sun beds and dining area . It was situated on a hill which had amazing views off the beach and sea . You could get a buggy if needed to go to reception or breakfast. There were so many facilities to mention pools, beach sun beds, various restaurants , gym to name a few . The breakfast was amazing with so much choice and all delicious. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Everything was perfect to give us an amazing, relaxing, perfect stay . We will definitely return.

Garrya Tongsai Bay Samui is one of those places that stays with you. What really makes the difference is the people. The service is excellent, but more importantly, it feels sincere. The staff are genuinely kind, always smiling, always present, and somehow they manage to make everything feel easy and natural. You never feel rushed or overlooked, just quietly taken care of. The facilities are beautiful and very well maintained, but without feeling stiff or overdesigned. Everything works, everything feels comfortable, and there’s a calmness to the whole place that makes you slow down almost without noticing. Rooms, pools, spa, restaurants, all of it feels thoughtfully done. The setting is something special. Surrounded by greenery and right on a peaceful bay, it feels private, quiet, and deeply connected to nature. You hear the sea, the wind in the trees, and very little else. It’s the kind of place where you can actually relax. Nothing here feels forced or flashy. It’s just consistently good, warm, and balanced. A place you leave feeling better than when you arrived. Can't wait to be back to this special place.

We have spent the last 11 nights in this wonderful hotel. This is our 3rd stay here over a 12 year period and it remains the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Many of the staff are still working there since our first visit in 2014. The hotel is situated on a private beach, nestled in tropical gardens and it never felt busy, despite being almost full. There is an adult only pool , which we didn’t use and a beautiful pool next to the beach There are ample sun beds throughout the day and the pool guys are attentive with fresh water throughout the day The sea was quite rough on a few days but we still often had the pool to ourselves. There is an air of peace & calm throughout the hotel The hotel is very private and the road to the nearest restaurants is quite dark ( torches are provided) at night, however we used the hotel taxi service and What’s App them when we were ready to be picked up . We tended to eat at the hotel.. breakfast is amazing; everything and more you could wish for; with wonderful views over the bay. We ate lunch & dinner in the hotel at Fish Tails restaurant on the beach .. amazing food in an idyllic setting. The service in all the restaurants was excellent.. the staff know you by name and provided a level personalisation to every meal .. The staff are too many too mention individually, however Pu, Kookai ( who will keep me drinking fresh ginger tea forever) Cha and Tang all made our stay very special, but collectively the teamwork is second to none. The management team are very visible, and happy to chat over breakfast. This is a very special place and we will be back.

We arrived in Koh Samui after 2 weeks in Bangkok and Chaing Mai. Our stay at the Garrya Tongsai Bay was a fitting end to our first visit to Thailand . This hotel is probable one of the best if not the best hotel we ever had the pleasure to visit. A combination of a gorgeous property allied to outstanding staff in an amazing setting makes the Garrya a true gem. Everything about the resort is just perfect, the private beach, the well appointed accommodations, the delicious food but above all the fantastic staff who go the extra mile to ensure you are having a good time . We wished we could have stayed a few more days, hopefully will get back again and enjoy once again the amazing hospitality. Thank you Garrya Koh Samui for contributing to a holiday of lifetime.
