Garrya Tongsai Bay Samui

Kathryn and I had the most beautiful experience in Koh Samui. We stayed for a week. The staff were so good in Looking after us and paid attention to small details in our room for instance catering for any requests we asked for. At breakfast staff made us feel very welcome also giving us advice on what to check out in Koh Samui. Kookik looked after us very well but so did all the other staff. We will be back. As you travel down the drive towards the hotel, you know you are in for a treat. Garrya Tongsai Bay is an oasis of calm, within easy reach of additional beaches, bars and restaurants. The staff are all friendly and helpful, with nothing being too much trouble. We barely noticed the check- in process, once we had enjoyed the welcoming drinks, cool hand towels and cookies. There is a range of accommodation buildings, built on the hillside, with buggies available for ease of transportation. Our room was the size of an apartment. Everywhere you went there was an impressive attention to detail. We had chosen this hotel for it's secluded bay and complimentary non motorised watersports. My initial disappointment with the weather necessitating a red flag on the beach ( which, after all, is for our safety), was quickly allayed by enjoying the two swimming pools, participating in yoga and exercise classes, using the gym facilities and enjoying a treatment at the spa. I noted a rigid inflatable boat ( rescue boat, I am assuming), paddle boards, canoes and two hoby cat yachts. Breakfast was sumptuous, with all tastes catered for and a constant supply of fresh fruits as well as eggs made to order. We ate in all the restaurants during our stay and all our meals were excellent. Would I recommend this hotel?....definitely!

Great hotel, nice beach and facilities, and very friendly staff. Restaurants are very good and offer a great variety of options. Overall great experience.

We had a relaxing stay. The staff and service were outstanding. The location is perfect with cool breezes and a lovely beach. The food was delicious with a mix of Thai or western options. Highly recommend staying.
