Garrya Tongsai Bay Samui

I have just completed the hotel's survey following our return from this amazing hotel and resort, our fifth visit in 15 years. But other people need to learn of what we said to management. Their hotel needs to be shared. I truly hope I have not missed anyone out in the appreciation commentary. The "feel", the environment, the accommodations, the welcome, the food, the hospitality, the service received, the Spa, the facilities - just simply outstanding. "The security person at the hotel reception entrance (O-un?). He is simply superb. The porter team of Wang. Hed. Pong. Kik. Boy. All fantastic. All the excellent reception team, led by Khun Nok. Restaurant teams of Pu, Eak, Pasuk, Tue, Jah, Carlo, Tang, Peter, Tong, Don, Su, Obb, Ice, Tee, Peah, Nammo, Takong and the superb Sakrai, Ying, Bew, as led by the really pleasant and helpful Cha. Marine was also lovely when we saw her. Spa team of Fern, Lucy and the super helpful Bassy. Great! Ead and Pla down by the beach. Great! And Kookkik was outstanding throughout our stay. She is such a huge credit to the hotel. She never stops, and she is so kind and an excellent ambassador to the hotel. Hiro is a lovely man and such a great ambassador, too. Alongside the fantastic management team of Manuel and Mark, who are there each morning helping out at breakfast, they have an utterly brilliant team”. The management showed kindness and understanding regarding our cancelled flights home, due to the Iran war, and our need to extend our stay. Our rooms of 201 and 515 could not have been better. Not the cheapest hotel on the island, but you get great value and, as they say, you get what you pay for. Supremely clean, and the room maids and general housekeeping team are constantly ensuring cleanliness and service. The resort is serene and quiet. Just what we needed, but with entertainment of beach music to accompany your meal on certain nights, and themed dining, too. There's always something going on, if you need it, but entertainment can also be avoided if you just need space and relaxation. The resort never feels busy, despite high occupancy at all times, and we never felt anything but calm and serene. We'll be back soon, all being well.

My husband and I had yet another fantastic stay in the 'Hideaway' at Tongsai. This places never ceases to amaze me. The staff are just out of the world and really make the place. Wonderful massages, great food and stunning views. The 'hideaway' is a little bit of a longer walk with some steps but oh mu goodness the views and privacy are so worth it. If you are thinking about booking do it you won't be disappointed. Thank you to Mark and all the rest of the staff. See you again soon!

A delightful resort with attentiveness of Staff the highlight. We stayed 10 nights and thoroughly recommend. A few points: Three very good restaurants with excellent range of Thai dishes and beautiful breakfast. Large, inviting pool and another more secluded adult pool further up the hill. Gym is reasonably sparse but adequate. Beach hire was good with two paddle boards and kayaks plus yacht. Be mindful there are lots of steps but staff drive buggies whenever needed. Rooms excellent quality and servicing.

Could not fault anything about this hotel. Loved everything!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It lacks for nothing. Thank you so much! Beautiful grounds, room, beach and the staff are incredible. Perfect place to relax and recharge as we make our way around Thailand. Wish we were staying longer! Perfect!
